Perfect ...another Android M ROM...testing now
Nice to see you going strong!
It's amazing how far the development goes on this device!
Best regards my fellow devs
Nice another rom for xSP
Thanks dude..will try this.
Everything works OK, except radiofm (CM bug). But I have some stuck in boot animation, solved with power button in the back (One of them with helium v5.0).
It's smoother than Aicp MM, but not so than CM 13.
Good work.
I'm using AOKP 6.0.1, and TWRP. I dont know whether its a rom problem or recovery problem, but when i reboot to recovery, the recovery mode touch panel goes haywire, it always goes to backup partition and vibrates like crazy(although thats cz of recovery, anyway), and even i after i lock the screen, the screen automatically lights up, and its impossible to unlock it again as it registers only the one location of touch. Any point on the screen i touch, it always selects only the one location, the line of touch alligned with the power button.
This problem goes away when i flash the recovery via the flashtool, but comes back when i reboot the phone, and select reboot to recovery, or manually reboot to recovery after booting the rom up and powering it back down, so I'm inclined towards a ROM problem.
And PS: touch works fine during normal use, i.e no hardware problem.

With circular battery style in place, there exists a huge difference between the actual battery reading and what the battery symbol is showing.
For example, the battery icon is showing around 76% battery is left to dissipated, but in actuality it is only 65%

Maybe because I had just did a system wipe before migrating from cm13 to AOKP. It seems after 3 or 4 reboots things are getting normal

Hum thats a nice rom for a nice device; oh wait, my device is great, yours is mini lololol
congratz bro =)
I'll ask here the same here if you don't mind, as i won't be able to test this either soon myself... cann someone using this confirm if:
1. left/right cursor arrows are immediately shown when using keyboard (think so as it is a cm feature but in carbon for example you have to press a button first to see them)
2. is it possible to always show volume panel expanded
3. is it possible to assign long-press action to nav bar buttons to show volume panel without using hw volume buttons
4. can date be shown is status bar
finally recovery included in the rom is still cm one right? so twrp image should be flashed apart with rashr?
tia
Finally! SlimRom for our Z3C! Yes!
BTW: Did anyone managed to make Sony Camera app for CM based ROMs? Stock camera (Android camera) is horrible. Too much noise.... (yup, i lost my DRM keys and im forced to stay with stock FW with DRM mod)
EDIT: "Error executing binary in zip" FAILED.
Flashing via TWRP.
@moly82
1, as far as i recall, cursor keys are not shown immediately. there is an option to enable volume keys cursor control ( tbh i deleted the inbuilt android keyboard and use super swiftkey by djdarknight).
2. no. not at the moment but as stated in OP "SlimLP is currently in alpha/beta stage, some settings are already in place, much is still missing and it will come with time" so it may be a feature that's included at a later date.
3. you can assign long press on nav buttons to perform numerous tasks, unfortunately not the task you request.
4. Yes date can be shown in status bar.
and yes recovery is Cm, however i recommend flashing fotatwrp by kyasu https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95916177934529111 apologies i assumed most people with unlocked bootloader would have flashed this by now.
cheers
MOTHER****ING YES!!
Been waiting for this almost a year already (since I bought the phone from day one!!)
@Carach_CZ
Ive flashed this rom 5 times or more and never experienced any issue. if your still having problems flash the fotatwrp from here https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95916177934529111 via fastboot or flash using the app "Rashr" from playstore
cheers

same here! the long-awaited ROM finally arrives!! awesome! thanx @AnGrY sCoTsMaN! will report if any bug/s found(IF there's any!)!
cheers!
@AnGrY sCoTsMaN
Thanks for your hard work!
I have a question before flashing - how is this ROM doing in terms of battery life? Also, does the Ambient Display feature work on our Z3c?
Thanks in advance!!
Awesome, working great so far. Thanks so much.
WiFi disconnects quite a bit - had the same problem with cm, but cm seemed worse than this. This is so much better so far.
Vibration sensitivity control is missing, I understand this is alpha, so that feature is probably coming in the future - but just thought I'll bring it up.
Cast button on quick settings doesn't work, but then it never worked with any other rom on this phone anyways.
The compass in quick settings doesn't work, is there a way to calibrate that? Looks like another cm issue anyways.
None of the above is suppose to be feature request - just hoping to help u make this awesome rom better.
Thanks again - my new daily driver.
My first boot is taking about 10 minutes now, is that normal?
Cheers.
@flintfirewalker cheers for the feedback. Yeah some features we usually expect from slim are still missing but I imagine slim will implement them soon enough. I only noticed the WiFi dropouts last night myself but will look to see if there is a fix. As for the compass, it appears to work in my quick settings, whether it's calibrated correctly is a different story.... I'm sure there will be an app to help calibrate it. I will stay on the look out for update and fixes. On the plus side... The dedicated camera button now launches the camera lol
Sent from my Xperia Z3C using Tapatalk
Hey you're right, the camera button launches the camera... Sweet. Been missing that feature since I dumped stock. The button doesn't take pictures or focus at the moment, but very promising so far. I'll be checking this forum frequently for updates.
Some bugs I've encountered:
1) when activated in power menu, airplane mode cant be turned off the same way (the button is "stuck"?), I have to turn it off from phone settings
2) when connected to the magnetic charger, celullar coverage gets destroyed and you cant get a signal until reboot
3) changing dpi causes play store to not display modal messages (like the one that shows app permissions) and recovery to fail (its not readable at all)
4) some apps fail to be updated, for example dashclock, need to uninstall completely from rom and reinstall from play store
5) battery life is awful (or maybe i´ve been to comfortable with stock amazing batt life)
6) screen rotation acts up (even though is disabled, desktop and app drawer still rotate), maybe is a launcher issue
7) NOISY camera (but thats to be expected)
All in all, a GREAT first release. Thank you so much for the time invested and for the port, I hope you keep updating and maybe become a device mantainer
Some requests:
1) slimsizer, I use it a lot (i like my rom to be MINIMAL)
2) a good kernel recommendation (battery life on this one is just sad)
On another note, do any of you have any apps broken since lollipop? Some of my favorite games dont seem to work (might and magic , platinum solitaire, bejewled are some of them)
I´ll keep testing today and report back any bugs
@daha2002 I would check our setup!
1, nope,working fine for me.
2, cant confirm as I'm at work right now.
3, nope,working fine here
4, hmm OK I'll look into it
5, fair play battery life not as good as stock, but you've not been running the rom long enough for a true evaluation of that.
6, nope, works fine here
7, yep

sorry for off topic question, but why haven't you published validus builds for z3c?:silly:
I wouldn't call the battery terrible. Yes , it's worse than stock, but it's pretty good for custom rom.
I'm guessing once the WiFi disconnecting problem goes away and maybe with another good kernel in tow, the rom battery will be as good as the stock.

Same here, tried two clean installs using different gapps, not ready for primetime.
Maybe try POSP released today on TG, seems very good so far & comes with Optimus Drunk kernel and Lawnchair launcher. HavocOS for Pie (on TG group) was also good, everything working well & lots of customizing options.
"Error 7" flashing un TWRP
How can I install this ROM? since I downloaded the latest version, but at the time of flashing in TWRP it loads a bit and then I skipped a screen of "error 7" I understand that this happens with TWRP versions that do not support 64bit systems, but my version of recovery is 3.2.3-0 and this error only comes up when I try to flash this ROM, could someone help me? since I really want to try this rom

This didn't happen to me installing this ROM using TWRP 3.2.3-1, installed ok in TWRP but on booting to system it keeps shutting down and rebooting, so don't bother this ROM needs more work anyway. If you read the thread the posts above yours mentioned this problem.

I also have problems with that version of TWRP, since when I flashed this version I already tried it directly from my recovery, I tried it from the official TWRP app and I already tried to flash from applications like "flashify" and at the moment of doing it, all it appears in order ... but when I try to enter TWRP again, it does not enter, it throws problems on the screen and does not enter TWRP, I do not know what the cause is

You must have some other problem, I've used all potter TWRP versions since phone came out & no such errors. All ROMs install fine in TWRP and this one only can't boot to system which is in the ROM itself. Sorry can't recommend anything more but maybe post in the official TWRP development thread in this subforum.

Thanks for your work but you seem to be the only one.
Just tried again with no gapps and same result, when it gets to desktop within 1-2 seconds it says shutting down and reboots. The other day I tried twice using the same micro opengapps that I've used with other recent ROMs with no problem. Clean installs in TWRP which reports successful install, booting looks normal until you get to the desktop.
Camera Stops working
Camera installed from stock Gapps is not working and can't open other camera mods
Only stock moto camera is working
ROM is now weekly and the link is https://sourceforge.net/projects/sy...tter-v1.2-20181027-1437-OFFICIAL.zip/download
This rom is really nice.. Thx dev.
Well i just installed that rom and i can say that everything is working flawlessly until now. I hope the the battery life would be good also like everything else in that rom.

Although its a nee ROM but its solid Daily driver material ROM. Fast , smooth and battery friendly. Also has delta updates to save your precious data. Devs are also fast in fixing bugs and bringing nee features.
Thanks for your hard work and bringing it to potter.
Amazing rom with snappy performance and least battery drain , Fp is fastest on this rom .
Gonna be my daily driver
Nice rom
Can some one tell me how I can turn off the option for "double tap on home for camera"?
The last time I tried flashing this (doing a clean wipe and install), it asked me for a password? What's the password please?

That means ur device is encrypted
First of all, thanks for bringing up this ROM. It is very fluid, fast and responsive. It has also basic tweaks that I need.
However I have met some issues which forced me to restore my backup:
- I can't play music from my SD card, Phonograph can't see it (even after pointing to right folder and rescan) or can't play it (it displays message or even hangs after some tries),
- alarm only vibrates with no sound (yes, I have set default ringtone in settings),
- sometimes notifications layout is messed up,
- navigation bar turns on after reboot and I need to go to settings and do off/on to hide it,
- finally CPU frequency is always at max; not a bug actually as scheduler is set to 'performance' but I don't know if it is the way to minimize battery drain.
I don't know if it is only me or anyone else has these issues? Anyway if they will be resolved I come back to this ROM.

Ok, great, thanks in advance for help.
So, currently I am on stock rom debloated... Should I flash some other pie rom first to remove the encryption and then flash this rom?
I am using the 2 gb variant of the Moto G5 plus. I don't have the cpu error. Personally, I don't use an sd card, so I won't be having any issues there. I have the nav bar error (comes back after a reboot). The only major issue (I don't really consider the nav bar problem major as its more of an inconvenience for when I boot my phone) is when trying yobwatch YouTube videos on the YouTube app, the video shows the loading circle but never begins playback. It worse when I tried it last night with each video loading almost as fast as I clicked them. I had Extended kernel flashed but thought that would solve my issue. I flashed the latest optimus drunk potter and still experienced the issues. If you could fix YouTube that would be great.

In the meantime users can add this line to the /system/build.prop file:
qemu.hw.mainkeys=1
Doing this navbar won't return on reboot.

Currently using Pico Gapps. I think it is because I did a semi clean rom, as I wiped my android version but did not wipe my internal storage. I found that its not just this rom but Gzosp and Asop extended. I am going to wipe my phone and reinstall Baikal os. I think I solved it.

Same request.
Otherwise, I got another question,
I tried at least 5 pie rom, and all have a huge battery drain on my phone (all network off and no process, 25% waste on the night). I wiped yesterday and re installed an oreo rom a magically, no battery drain (1 % on a night with all network off) ...
So I don't know if I was very unlucky or if I missed something, but pie is a huge battery drain for me.
Here's my question. With all network off and doing nothing, how much battery your rom will use on a full night?
Thanks

I know from experience with my 2gb variant of the Moto g5 plus that with Bluetooth off and wifi on, all night, it uses like 10 percent of my battery

Sorry , just back to AOSP Alpha
But seem like when trying LOS 20200315
Yours can get TWRP from VolDown+power , LOS can not
D855
Weird , flashing over LoS 20200320 not boot loop .

Seem more hot
TWRP also only vol + power
add
Maybe the problem is from kernel , without changing kernel adiutor , working better
works well d855...(stock kernel)
one bug..
screen flickers when opening a program,in the upper regions..
thank you...
Thanks a lot for this ROM @firebird11
Working exceptionally well for an initial build on my vs985.
- As for occasional flickering of the upper right hand side of screen, it's the homescreen intermittently showing beneath the current foreground activity.
- Transitions: sometimes, the back gesture arrow freezes along with its transition. Drawing down the notification shade sometimes freezes. Returning back to a previous app sometimes freezes the new one for a couple of seconds. The default music app sometimes stutters when drawing down the notification shade.
- Occasionally, Music (com.crdroid.music) shows the wrong album art for the playing song.
All in all, the issues I've observed are just minor bothers (almost all issues are SystemUI freezes). As is, this ROM can EASILY be a daily driver.
Thanks again for not throwing in the towel (I thought you did since crDroid 5.X) .

This loaded fine and felt smooth and quick on d850! I used it for 2 days so not too much time. battery drained quicker than normal tho. maybe it smooths out later on..
Anyway, I used the 3/20 Open Gapps Pico and Magisk 20.3 ...
My only only only major complaint is that the whole phone freezes and eventually reboots when plugged into my cars USB and Android Auto is selected from my car interface. probably an open gapps thing. maybe BitGapps does not have this issue. i will try that another time.
Also, minor, but old messages seem to keep showing up as new in the default messages app after a reboot.. this is after a message restore using sms backup & restore. no logs sorry i had to quickly revert back.
@firebird11
One Random reboot on vs985 when screen goes off. Last_kmsg log attached.

Tnx for 20200327
updated from v5.7 on d850 went mostly bad it seems
big issues:
it isn't recognizing my f2fs formatted SD card, which it was before.
seems the notification drawer gets a little twitchy if there's too many notifications. didn't notice that before upgrade either
android.process.media keeps stopping? dunno what's going on there, disabled force close dialogs in crDroid settings for the time being
GPS still not working
VoLTE doesn't seem to work either still, unless i'm missing something. real big deal for me, UMTS/HSPA in my area is very hit and miss and i can't reliably fall back to it
wifi wasn't working until i cleared out the WifiConfigStore.xml in /data/misc/wifi
might just try doing a clean install and see how that goes, but upgrade seems like a no go
Tried newest build on my D850 a few days ago with 4/3 OpenGapps Pico and Magisk 20.3 and I actually do not have any issues to report. Definitely try a clean install if you are having issues. I had notification drawer and quick settings twitchiness but it went away either after a few reboots or after setting up Nova launcher. My GPS has no issues either. Battery is somehow great on this build too - weird. I even got Android Auto working which means I will use this as a daily driver. Finally a good reason now to get off of Fulmics! As for Android Auto, I am not 100% sure this is the fix yet but it seems that I need to clear the Android Auto cache and also disable battery optimization for it to not crash the entire phone upon connecting to my car... Thanks!
clean install worked better
did a clean install. worked out a LOT better, although the notification drawer is still twitchy and no f2fs. didn't try calls oops. other than the notification bar weirdness, it's butter smooth
did have a weird issue while setting up where it didn't want to continue with account setup and wanted me to pick a wifi network, but after picking a wifi network it did nothing. ended up skipping the initial wizard and doing it again when i could kick wifi on with the QS tile while pressing use mobile network (which turns wifi off), which let the wizard work on wifi. kinda weird!
got a nandroid of it to roll back up to, but i went back to 5.7 for the time being. once f2fs support is fixed i'll probably go back and update it, but in the meantime i need my music!
Update: Android Auto still crashes. I was wrong. Attached is logcat.. look for date 4/9 around time 0750-0752 mark.. it shows me plugging in phone to car usb then crash occurring. Phone reboots and attempts to connect to car again and crashes again..
Thanks!!
Really nice build. I like how most of the bugs in Lineage OS has been fixed. But there is something wrong with mobile connection. When set to LTE, it becomes unavailable then after some time it's again available and then again unavailable. Changing to 3G or 2G makes connection available all the time.

Animation issues
First off, I would like to thank the developer for the hard work he has done to keep this device alive even to this day. I personally enjoyed crDroid pie on my LG G3. I thought I should try this android 10 version. It went off to a good start but The android 10 has some animation issues. There's a lot of tearing in the animation transitions. I had to set the animations all to 0.0 to stop most of the tearing. You might want to consider looking into it.
Thanks
new builds up!
i didn't have time to look into any issues yet, maybe some are better now , test and let me know

Great Job,
Hi, I tried installing this rom on my samsung a205gn using twrp recovery. I wiped dalvik, cache, data and system. Then I formatted the data and typed yes. After this I flashed this rom. It seemed to have flashed successfully. But after rebooting into system, the phone just turns off and doesnt show any lights and won't boot. I can long press down and power button and it brings me to samsung logo saying that the bootloader is unlocked. But after pressing the power button again it just turns off. I hope you can help me.

I am also having this issue with most of A11 Roms, and only A11. I have installed DotOS 5.2 back in July and it booted successfully, fast forward last month I have installed it again and I was thrown into a bootloop I fixed it by installed R9 Kernel. I have tried to fix this by doing so but it didn't work for me, maybe I have done it wrong but you can try and see for yourself it could be that it requires a certain Kernel version to be installed before it boots.

Thank you, I totally forgot about this thread. I actually managed to fix it. 2 days after getting bricked, the phone somehow got its battery completely drained, and when I plugged in the charger, for some reason the phone booted into twrp. I managed to get to download mode and flash the stock rom.
Currently, I'm using the crdroid android 13 rom on this phone. Apparently you have to flash a file called dm verity force encrypt or something after flashing the os to not get a bootloop.

I do that i have a universal file I use after every rom installation. But i'll dig into it even more later. Also there is a fix for that without having to wait until the battery is drained. I found it on a Telegram group:
BSOD - Black Screen Of Death !
You can't go into download or recovery mode? Well then, you are stuck in BSOD.
Note: your phone is turned on but the screen is off (black)
How to fix:
* Connect a usb cable to your pc but don't connect it to your phone yet!
* Force restart your phone by holding all buttons. As soon as you press buttons, start counting.
The phone will vibrate about on the 12 secs
* Now, when your screen is black, hold all buttons and count again. When you reach 11 secs, quickly release all buttons and hold power + vol down + vol up buttons. Also connect the usb cable to the phone.
Your phone will then boot into download mode where u can flash stock firmware again.
P.S: It's hard to get the right timing. So you have to keep trying till you are able to get it else you have to wait your battery to be 0% so that it turns off automatically..
Sir i'm an a20 user and i'm in need for an AOD for my phone. Cought you please extract me the AOD app from the rom,I want to install it on my stockrom via package installer. (Please)
what downlead is it. on curseforge under a20 there are 3 folders names T S and R. what one is the correct one for a205yn?
