The story begins, after my Infinix Hot Note X551 OS successful up-gradation to official lollipop 5.1 .Now the following applications which were working fine with KitKate 4.4.2 are now freezing or doesn't work any more.

Don't use that bull*hit hopeless SE default alarm. I was late to work a few times because of it. I have been using Alarm Clock plus for 3 weeks now and so far so good
As the previous poster, I use an other Alarm app. I've been using AlarmDroid. Great alarm, with option to shake to disable and flip to snooze

if you are killing all the running process using task killer then alarm clock will stop working.
Solution: add alarm clock process to ignore list in task killer.
This is not my work,just a great tposed I'd like to share.
As in 4.3 google made all background apps to have a persistent notification, which is very annoying in many cases. This module an hide them. it recognizes apps with notifications only. in other words yon need to launch that app before choosing to hide its notification.
I've tested it with spenboard switcher and ultimate dynamic navigation

5. Set permissions for new bootanimation to RW-R-R.

1. DL from website and check MD5 to make sure you have a good file.
1b. Optional- clear data and cache for current Google Play Store.
2. Navigate to system/priv-app in a root explorer.
3. Find Phonesky.apk and rename it to Phonesky.apk.bak to back up your current Google Play Store.
4. Copy/paste the new Google Play Store you just downloaded into system/priv-app and rename it to Phonesky.apk
5. Set permissions to RW-R-R and reboot!

First of all I have been an avid Android user for 3 years but my potato Sony phone isn't working anymore so I have to use my iPad for media consumption.
I have some great tweaks on my iPad 4 running iOS 8.4 and it's a great and very easy device to use, very happy with it. I have one question though - I want these on my next phone. I will buy the next nexus phone (Marlin) and it has Android N on it, which will be even better. I don't care if the xposed tweaks are compatible or not I just need the names!

perfect idea!I am sarching about 2 years to find a stealth module for facebook..on iphone there is the perfect stealth mode called silentmessenger..I mainly want to hide this stupid timestamp (active now,active before X minutes etc).
You can forget most of those. Cydia tried to release something for android but it failed badly.
Homescreen settings, notification bar brightness, animation speed.
You will be hard pressed to find anyone willing to port most iPhone things to android

Because everything apple will fail on Android. People just are not interested. Also we already have things like xposed.
Also most android devs use Google plus and not Facebook. It is widely known as the social network for old people, kids and drama Queens.
The things I listed already come pre-built into 99% of roms. There is almost no need for things like these mods when you can change the source code for the os

Hi, I am using realme 2 pro on latest Color OS stable update.
This issue/lack of feature had been since day 1. There is no remaining time popup from alarm clock like it is there in default stock google clock or MIUI clock or any other ROM clock.
Whenever I set alarm for a particular time, the clocks in all other phones/ROMS says the remaining time until that particular alarm. But there is no such notification/pop-up coming in default clock of Realme2 pro and I desperately need it.
Installing Google Clock was the solution that I thought but it gets cleaned out whenever it goes in background and then alarm will not work on time as google clock is not running.
Hence need the option in default clock itself.

You can try to go to recents, when goofle click is in foreground. Then swipe the app downwards, you will get a lock app option . Once locked app wouldn't clear from background further you can go to app info and go to power saver option and select allow running in the background.
