Hello,
Now I have AICP MM in my X, but this also happens with any other rom including the oficial one.
Any music app (blackplayer EX, Omich player, native music player on the rom), can't access to the mp3's that I have in the Music folder.
Please help.
Thank you.

There is something that I'm missing?

Hi!
So i got a friend with an HTC and Android 2.1, and i would like to use the Music player (google APS) that comes with his custom ROM, is that possible in any way?
Has someone updated the default music player from the mini X10?
Thanks in advance!
I have switched to Meridian Player which is free on the Android market (even if unfortunately the developer has inserted an ad banner is his latest update)...

you can remove adds by adding some lines to your /etc/hosts file!

anyway, i tried meridian and did not like it, i am using doubletwist now!
I also want that music player
Try "cubed" music player. Absolutely the best. Cool interface, free, no ads
Try PowerAmp
Winamp is on the marketplace. It's winamp, it works great.
Any player with equalizer?

I like the "cubed" one too, but now use "doubleTwist" which inserts itself as the default player
i use RealPlayer
it also capable of handling photos and videos (cause our default gallery and video also sucks). it has an incredible interface. also widget.
I have updated my phone software to latest, then rooted and installed app2sd and everything works except musicplayer, allways showing empty music library...I have mp3 files in Music folder on sd card (/sdcard/music/album1) ...they work if I open root explorer and start 1 song then it plays...I tried other music players you sugested but with same problem...

Try btunes, you can specify the music folder and builds the library from there..
The last month or so, every mp3 I download will not show up in any music apps I have on my phone. I used the HTC stock music app, PowerAmp, and now I'm using Google's music app, which is awesome. However, each app had the same results. I moved all my music into the same folder on my SD card. The new songs will play if I play them straight out of Root Explorer so I know the files are ok, they just won't show up in the apps. Any ideas? Thanks.
Hi,
I have total recall working on phone and it stores call conversations on phone, the problem is the music player also adds them in available songs
is there any way to restrict music player to look under specific folders only for songs?
or, if there is anyway I Total Recall can store files that cannot be seen by Music app (media scanner)?
To select a certain music folder yourll need a non-stock music player from the market like PowerAmp or something like that.Stock players dont give you much choice. My ROM has a call recorder but it goes where it goes so not much to say there sorry.
Ubermusic supports folder playing;-)

Hi guys, I bought my razr (xt910) one week ago, and everything works fine, except for one thing, i can't set my default music player, Im using noozy as my music player, but when I try to open an mp3 file with the file explorer, it asks me to choose the default app for the mp3 file, but only shows the default music player and the ES music player (comes with ES file explorer), it does not give e the ption to use noozy as the default.
When I use one app like Endomondo that has an option to launch the music player, it launches the stock music player and not the one I really use, so can anyone answer how can I put noozy as the default music player?
PS: the launch by default option in setting/apps is greyed out and not changeable on all the apps mentioned above.
Thanks in advance guys!
Hi!
I can play FLAC files from within a file manager (EZ File Manager and Root Explorer). I get asked to use "Music" or "Google Play Music". Both work, but only a small music player opens!
But I can't get the FLAC files in the stock music player (in the list of music). Any ideas?
The FLAC songs are on external SD, but so are a lot of other songs.
