While we expect the rom cyanogen be carried, because we do not share the performance of our devices? Let the print result of the bench, and if possible also information such as firmware number, model, CPU and GPU governor, I/O scheduler, tweak and others..(the only requirement is that the bench is calculated in AnTuTu).
(Opinions about the best way to achieve performance are welcome:crying:)

how is this possible? any tweaks? full performance mode, or what?
thanks!
This Xperia is sincerely very poorly optimized, and although the benchmarks give these results, in reality the operation of equipment not shown.
So i absolutely hate the performance of this phone. My last phone was an HTC ONE M7 that simply fled past this M4 E2303. I know the Snapdragon 615 can do better but it's firmware is awful. I understand the heat issues but i've tried the Temperature mod and saw no real improvement.
I am trying to flash the firmwares to see which one, if any, has the better performance. BUt i've hit a bump:
on the Xperiaforum i've found the M4 fw BUT the earlier ones (.112, .99) are from some M2 phone. I've flashed nevertheless but it doesn't boot properly, obviously!
so, can anyone give me an advice, some other place with better firmware source (i tried on Xperifirm and i don't see other fw than .167 and the latest .111 which, both are ****) ?
27000 in antutu is not bad but i think the realworld performance does not reflect it.
so i will flash and flash 'till i find the 35000 Antutu pts Firmware!

I am posting the PAC-man kernel and modules.
Why?
1. It is stable.
2. It is time-tested.
3. It has many features (governors, io schedulers etc)
4. This way kernel updates can get to users even if ROM is not updated.
(like the recent cwm fix)
Changelog?
Code:
[B]20121212 :[/B]
- Initial (cwm dancing fix)
[B]20121216:[/B]
- Updated recovery to 6.0.2.2
- Power off option in recovery.
Source: Kernel changelog here | Recovery changelog here + minor PACman changes.
Credits?
szl.keiv and the PAC team, Cyanogenmod team.
Support?
I will not be providing support for this kernel. You have been warned.
But i will try to help in whatever way I can.
Download
For PAC 4.1 / CM 4.1 -> Download
For 4.2 based ROMs -> Download
Modules for both (CWM flashable) -> Download
useful stuff.. thanks bro
uh! You are a godsend!
I wish I could thank you to death! limited to 8 thanks :|
Thanks, I will test this kernel to check on Sygic Navigation (it's drive me crazy because it reboot my phone). Boot time is very speed compared to FusioN v4.1 kernel (first boot is long also like on FusioN v4.1 kernel but this is no problem).
This kernel is the perfect compromise between the feature packed FusioN and the barebone FXP kernel. There are no drawbacks for this kernel.
This kernel is very speed. My phone with this kernel boots very fast and working very well. Next days shows how it's stable.

For smoothness and battery life, I will recommend leaving all the settings as default. Set Zram at 18% if you need better performance.

Try out! Just don't load at boot till you are sure it is stable.
My recommendation: Minimum: 249 Max: 1113 ondemand for routine use
(134 to 364 uses the same voltage, so minimum upto 364 causes same battery drain)
everything is work and rom run more stable.
Will it work on PA?(I guess it should work since its based on CM). But has anyone tried already?
I am currently on PA 2.54 by music.soul
Anyways going to try it tonight. Will post the results.
4.2 not work for me get a boot loop.....

It should be working fantastically even with 1.6GHz. It has been tested a lot regularly. The important thing for everyone. 1.6 GHz is the frequency initially given by Qualcom. But because of a need of being more battery friendly it was derated down to 1.2. Having that said the frequency is now where it was always meant to be

1.6ghz is actually in the original kernel so technicly i didnt OC it i just unlocked the freqz. The phone floates like a feather in 1.6 ghz with ondemand
It is in the original kernel? And why isn't it shown in the actually usable table used by the phone, which uses actually 1.2 GHz?

Because it was locked and derated on purpose. U can not see anything provided it was made locked and hidden. The stock kernel will not allow u any overclock., pls.
I am aware that the stock kernel doesn't allow oc. Lol, I am using Android since the G1... I still don't get why they are so stupid to not use that frequency.

Hi there and thanks
Ext-Card is not mounting for me. Running Cloudy Rom.
Coming from Navel, I Installed Xceed running Cloudy G3 2.5 (20P stock based ROM). Booted flawlessly without problems.. It is a pure stock kernel with minor modifications like OC which is stuck on the 2649 MHz clock speed! Couldn't lower the set OC frequency.. Performance is great due to the OC. Standard Governors, Schedulers and MP decision Hotplug.. Kcal support is there.. No UV support.. Battery life too early to judge.. Hope there are some Kernel and build.prop tweaks embedded..
Good work but more options could really add up to the value of this kernel.. And please fix the OC issue.. I use Kernel Auditor by the way.. Will update about any issues or problems later if any, but so far phone is ultra stable..
Thanks mate
P.S. External card mounted and working good.

Use only Synapse..the option to lower frequencies sticks there..also on my kernel you do not need to underclock..the Ondemand is intelligent enough to choose what frequencies to use on a given situation..for low load/simple tasks it won't even go above 2ghz..my kernel performs out of the box..it does not need attention, so you can enjoy your phones to the fullest..you can read reviews on my G2 kernel thread..

Had to reinstall supersu after the kernel flash because i lost root. I was on 2.65 which patches the boot image i believe.
I reflashed supersu 2.65 and all was good.
Installed no problem and didn't lose root. Everything runs fine.
For now is very fast and stable. but i like to use kernel for 2 o 3 days to tase de perfomance. in less than 24h u can test for real.

Been with ya since Maverick Rom 9.2 alltheway to Pure 6.0. Got into a bootloop after installing an Xposed module, did a full wipe and installed good ole' Maverick Rom 4.5 (of witch I'm currently rocking right now)...do I need to be on Pure 6.0 to help test? 27 is the idle frequency when device is in deep sleep. Under working conditions device frequency cant be set at 27
@malbert16442
You will implement the governor simple_emand on GPU?
Do you have any prediction?
Thanks dude.

That was my very first post on X.D.A...so I might of got carried away (obviously. ..since I was ignored). What I want to know is should I stay on Maverick 4.5 and flash the "All other Roms" kernel or install the latest Pure Rom (6.5?) And flash the other kernel? Sorry if I didn't phrase it right before. Thanks in advance.

Hi
It is very nice kernel
But i have questions
Does the battery life in it is good
Because i will install it on skies rom for my s5
And will enable always on display all day so i do not want to drain alot of battery and i play games alot too so i need a friendly battery and performance kernel
So is this kernel battery friend and is very good for performance
If it is friendly how much does it consume in hour of playing
And thanks

If they want they can modify the zip and flash only kernel and still using supersu
If you are already on my kernel and you want biweekly support for it check here
https://bitbucket.org/malbert16442/...9b4bf798466f4aacea9f71468/Releases/?at=master
These are nightly builds so I can't promise the same stability as original xda release.
So far its 1.5 nightly. 1.5 release is in 2 weeks
1.5 official will add G900L K and S support then you can use nightly
1.3 release stable now in download section. Must be on 1.3 before flashing nightly.
