Can anyone with SM-G925W8 confirm if putting twrp enables flashing custom roms safely? I just bought this device and I don't want to brick it in case.

Who can point me in the right direction to make data work from a stock based g900f build to a g900v variant? The g900f has a newer stock firmware than the g900v which has flashed with everything working except data?

Firstly, how on earth did you get a stock G900F firmware working on a G900V? Did Odin not fail when trying to write aboot.mbn? I have been trying EVERYTHING to get ANY (G900F/I/A) stock firmware onto my G900P with NO LUCK. If you can help in that regard I would be EXTREMELY grateful.
Secondly, once you root the device, edit the build.prop and add the following to the bottom:
ril.sales_code=LOL
ro.csc.sales_code=LOL
While it didn't work for me personally, it's known to work for others trying to get data working on a G900P/V. What it did do for me though was open up an entire new menu under settings which allowed me to chose GSM/WCDMA/LTE instead of the stock CDMA/UMTS that comes with the G900P
I running 1.4 logged on for the first time in a while looking for an update and it appears the thread is gone. Can anyone enlighten me? Thanks!

Ive tried many times with all sorts of different gapps packages...mm effed it up lol.
I put a rooted stock Rom on it didn't have time to figure out all the problems and solutions
