Overtime I open a new link the browser will not open that link it will load whatever page I was on before. For example if I am opening a link in my email to visit a link from my email, the link will not load it will open the browser and just stay on the last page I visited. I've reset the browser settings and I use the default browsing app.

yes mine does the same thing ...try opening with Firefox / Chrome or another browser

Is there a way to have Facebook links (like from an email) open in Facebook for Android instead of the browser? I've seen the same type of thing discussed about YouTube.
No, that's up to the developers of the facebook application.
I know the thread is old but i have the same problem right now, facebook links promote to open only with browser and not the facebook app.

I'm having a small issue with Facebook on Android. However, I think it's an issue with Android itself, not the app. When I get an email from Facebook, and I click the link, my browser opens and takes to the Facebook page and asks me to log in. Why doesn't it open the link using my Facebook app? It doesn't even ask me which app to use, browser or Facebook (eg. if I have two different gallery apps, and I want to view a picture, it asks me which gallery app to use, and lets me set one as default at the same time). Is there any way to make Facebook links open the Facebook app, instead of launching the browser (or to have it ask me like it does with other apps)? The whole point of the Facebook app is so I don't need to use the browser to view Facebook.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'm looking for a solution for this too, it's really annoying! but I've had no luck so far....
I've been looking for something that I don't think exists...What I want is a shortcut to just to start Chrome in the 'bookmark' page. I don't want any of the bookmark widgets for the home screen - if you have more than a few bookmarks those become useless anyway.
Does such an animal exist? Or is there a way to do what I'm trying to do?
If you close all the open pages before you close Chrome then when you open it you should get the start page, which will be on the tab you previously had it on. I leave mine on either bookmarks or the sync page and it always starts new pages on the same tab.
is there app that allow me to use different browser in differenet apss?
for example: link in flipboard will be open with chrome, and links from whatsapp
will be open with opera

Hi Everyone,
I've set Chrome as my default browser but every few hours all links start to open once more in the Oppo Browser.
In the settings it's still set to Chrome. To change it back to Chrome I have to select the oppo browser again and then switch back to Chrome. Then it works again for another few hours.

Cheers for the reply, I found it was reverting when twitter links opened in the stock browser. Set Twitter and YouTube up to open in the relevant app and it's fixed the problem.
