LG V10 (LG-H960P) suggestion need it. - LG V10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hi guys i have being using Samsung galaxy Note for long time, now i dicided to buy LG V10 (LG-H960P) ... im new on LG divices...... and i apreciate to some point me in the right direccion if there is any for my divce model to Root my divice nothing more. thanks in advance for your time.

No, there's no way at this time to unlock the bootloader in that model (Telcel?).
So no twrp and no root with the same firmware, you can flash the root tot for the AT&T model. I already flash it in my h960p and works fine.

thanks to to Sleep-_-23 for your time and support, i root my V10 H960P becouse him, thanks alot.

For people coming from the internets.
Root is achievable on the H960p. This will delete everything (and I mean everything) so backup everything before proceeding.
Basically what you have to do is install the stock H960 international kdz
http://csmgdl.lgmobile.com/dn/downloader.dev?fileKey=FW383CE2326WAOU7836FJQM/H96010c_00.kdz
Then install Tongkick's rooted tot from this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-v10/general/root-h960-ver-10c-tot-file-5-1-1-t3350734
After that you can install Xpossed.

Can you explain to us, the beginners, how to do the process? The kdz stuff, mainly. And would it work on 6.0? Thank you a lot!

[Q] Help with kernel to root

Hello, I just bought a Galaxy S2 and I would like to root it, reading on the different tutorials it recommends to use the kernel with a code as close as mine for the insecure one, and that in any case I can put back the original kernel after the rooting, all that is nice and understandable, however I'm unable to locate the kernel UHKI2 (I checked here http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1101671 and here http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1075278 in this second one I do see some files for my kernel but they are exe files, so not sure what to do with them), is there any other one that I can use without having the risk of damaging the phone? Any specific measures that I have to take while rooting?
Thanks in advance

You can use Siyah kernel or Speedmod for example, they are both good but Siyah is more costumizable.
Flash either of them with Odin: enable usb debugging in settings, go in download mode ( volume down + power buttton + menu), put the .tar file which you downloaded in Odin in PDA, don`t alter anything in Odin!!!!!!!, connect your phone to Odin with the usb cable (IDCOM should lightup yellow an in MESSAGE it should say Added) press start and let it boot.
Disable everything from KIES first before flashing, also in task manager, it could give problems!
And you`re rooted.

how to root lg p505 phoenix after official update to 2.3.4

well guys i update my phone from the 2.2.2 to 2.3.4 android version and i need to know hoe to rooted couse i ve ben using the gingerbreak but i think it doesnt works so any ideas how to root this device whit android 2.3.4
You can try SuperOneClick, or else use the search function for the manual way using adb.
Sent from my LG-P500 using XDA App
i already use superoneclick but it didnt works so any other app that could help in this case well went the device was on android 2.2.3 get rooted whit gingerbreak but it doeesnt work now on 2.3.4
already rooted whiit superoneclick v2.3.3 from here just late it run the divice will reboot and thas all
http://apk-apps.blogspot.com/2012/01/superoneclick-v233-apk-app.html
Fact
All 2.3.4 devices need a custom root method.
glad that superoneclick worked!!!
Here's my story. I had stock 2.2.2 and rooted it via Gingerbreak 1.2. Then when I discovered that 2.3.4 was available for the phoenix, I unrooted (again via Gingerbreak 1.2), uninstalled the existing version of Superuser.apk, gained temporary root via ADB, and then completed the process using the instructions below...
http://www.pocketables.net/2011/06/how-to-manually-root-almost-any-android-device.html
This is obviously not the cleanest method, but I could not get SuperOneClick to cooperate.
Anyway, it's rooted and working great thus far: Titanium Backup just finished backing up all my apps and data without complaining.

We have to talk in english. There is no way for a stock rom on d610 (for some reason or g2 mini are not registered on lg system) you maybe can go to Claro telling him that register your phine and maybe then we can have it enter your imei.
For recovery we are still testing. You can not access to recovery via hardware keys, it will erase you data. So please this is only for testing or made a backup. Dont install any rom until we fix this. Maybe then we can por philliz. For any question or talk in spanish PM.
