Protect App being closed, when the device goes to standby - MTCB Software Development

there is a way, the device to prevent it, to stop the app "car service" or other app when the device in the standby switches.
I have already tried tasker. But this app is then closed and is therefore not suitable.
sorry for my bad google english, i am from german.

what if you create a task to kill car service when in standby and start when out? Perhaps use the bluetooth service start the trigger?
Dave

When the device go to standby, tasker is killed and when the device wake up, tasker dont start again

I'm going to have to test that on mine today, I was unaware it did not come backup.
** UPDATE **
My tasker opened up just find after standby.
Dave

Strangely, my tasker remains closed

Is this tasker: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.dinglisch.android.taskerm&hl=hu
How can I set this app in my case?

yes it is

I have the same problem , after standby tasker no longer works at settings on timer . After restarting it works again !

I'm having the same issue.
Using @Malaysk Firmware, when the unit comes back from stand by mode ( turned off the car an turned on again), TASKER is killed and so is RADARDROID.
This is annoying me.
Does someone got a solution for this?

I didn`t get the point.
My MTC is installed properly.
I edited both "whitelist.ini" and "ss_exceptions.ini" like this:
whitelist.ini
net.dinglisch.android.taskeram
ss_exceptions.ini
com.microntek.avin
com.microntek.media
com.android.browser
Also, these files are stored in the folder mtc-manager at the GPS Card.
Also, i`m using 22.05.2016 Malaysk ROM.

A possible (!) reason of high Android OS/battery draining(Need feedback!)

Hello,
I just installed Android Booster FREE. It's an app that allows you to see what apps are draining the most.
And I maybe found a reason of high OS usage.
On my phone the top 1 draining app is MTP Application(with 36%). Since it's an Android app(package name: "com.android.MtpApplication), it'll be counted in Android OS and is indeed listed.
Could anyone please try and verify this on their own phones? To see app specific usage, install with link above, open it ->Utilities -> Power Manager -> Applications.
Sorry if this isn't the reason or if it's only on my phone. But I don't think so. And it would be a good reason since MTP application is Samsung-specific. My firmware: XKE2.
Please let me know! Thanks!
And please don't vote if you have frozen your apps !

Yeah I just frozen it and renamed the apk to be sure, but I need feedback(and % eventually) from those who haven't frozed it and are reporting high OS usages.

that's strange, but that's also counted as a part of "Android OS" I think, so it could be that (even though I don't have that!).
Are you sure that this program works? It lists Video maker as 23% of my power consumption.. And I never ever started the video maker on my phone......

Hmm if it's that I would look a bit dumb with creating a thread for that ^^'. I installed it on advice from someone on this forum in Themes/apps section(here), and I though it wasn't bad because the rest of the apps seems to be correct with me /:.
Here is my usage. Its Android OS again... but look at the time since unplugged and the total power left (60%)!! I have used it quite a bit as well. Ive never had a smart phone that lasts so long.

Wow, this app is definitely not working good . I can't see why keyboard would drain battery. Sorry for this guys. The application probably just go in "Android OS" and pick ups a random application for blaming it.
At least I tried, I guess. :/

Well this app is not good working: it just picks up the first in the list of "Android OS" as I have experienced.
Mine says BluetoothTest!
The MTP makes a certain sense though. If you look in various events in the Autostarts app, it appears a lot.

Facebook app battery drain

Hi, I wanted to ask something.
My facebook app after upgrading in 2.3, it consumes a lot of battery, such as 50-60%. Obviously it is not a normal thing.
Does anyone know the reason?
I'm desperate!!:crying::crying::crying::crying:
Thank you very much!

Maybe check what the app tries to sync and what to refresh (e.g. notifications etc.) and how often it does that.
if you are rooted you can get a better view on the battery consumption with BetterBatteryStats (search here on XDA).

you can also try to use Gemini to switch on/off services used by facebook (or other apps likewise).
or you could try a reflash of the rom?

[Q] Alarm woes

Team,
I have tried a number of the sophisticated alarm apps but I can't find one that wakes up my tablet. Whether I have turned the screen off or let it go to sleep, the alarms do not sound until I physically double-tap the device. Then the alarm kicks in immediately. Obviously, it is totally pointless if I have to wake up the XZT before the alarm sounds!! As this seems to happen with a number of apps, I can only assume that there is a setting somewhere that I have overlooked. Can someone solve this for me please?
Thanks
Do you have Greenify installed or any similar apps that may put the app to sleep? Is this the stock alarm you are using that isn't working?

Nope, I don't know what Greenify is! The stock app seems to work OK. It's the more complex alarms that wake up slowly or provide "nap" features that don't seem to wake the tab up.
If someone could recommend an app that they know works and wakes up the tab, I'd be happy to give it a try.
BTW upgraded to 4.2 yesterday but the problem is still there.
Cheers

Thanks - you have solved my problem without realizing it!:good:
I loaded Timely, set a test alarm and it immediately told me that it wouldn't work while Stamina was enabled. It even gave instructions on how to add an exception to Stamina.
Working perfectly now.
Many thanks - I hope this helps others:laugh:
Glad I could inadvertently help! I still think that's odd, but it's good to know for the future. I keep my tablet in the dock, so that may be why I haven't noticed the problem before.

can someone build an app for me?

Hey everyone
Hoping there is a dev out there that wants to take this on.
Simply put I'm looking for an app that will auto reboot my watch at a certain set out in the app
For example. Just a simple app that allows me too set at 6am everyday my watch reboots.
Anyone?

Rebooting automatically probably requires a rooted watch. What do you need it for? There may be another solution if you are trying to solve a problem by rebooting.
Nothing that's too major. I just find if I don't reboot my battery life slowly gets worse.

This was common issue with apps using accessibility service incorrectly. Check which apps have accessibility service and disable them one by one to see if the issue disappears.

Good thing I found this thread
Hi. I m facing same issue. Pls tell me how you fix it. TIA
Another app 'App Freezer' (com.real.clearprocesses) is causing it.
For those who don't know the fix, go to Settings (your phone settings), find 'Accessibility' (it may be inside something like additional settings) and scroll down until you find app names. Check which apps are 'On' and turn them off one by one until it's fixed.
Look also for Switch Access. Probably you changed settings there.
