Hey
Is Gmail or a text messaging app not available on wearables?
It would be good to be able to see messages and my inbox on the watch

Gmail is only visible through the cards that pop up when a new mail arrives. You can read and reply from the card. You can also compose new emails using the "OK Google" commands.
Google Messenger and Hangouts will allow you to browse conversations and reply from the wearable app without a notification card. There are probably other messaging apps that do this as well.

You have to install and use it as your default messaging app on the phone and then it will show on the watch. I had to switch from the stock Samsung messaging app on my Galaxy S7 Edge because it did not allow these features.

It should. I had an AOSP ROM on my old phone and the stock messenger did not have some of the features of the Messenger from the Play Store. It may be worth downloading the one from the play store to see if it is the same.
Check out drextee in the play store (also in the apps section for zw2). Full keyboard and can be used for SMS and/or gmail

Is there a way to just use a keyboard with the Good Messenger app?

Not unless it has ime support or a built in one. Haven't used it myself.

Quick for wear is the current best choice I've found for replying via keyboard on the watch.

Hi
Just as the title says how can I read my Google notes in my phone?
The build in note isn't connected to Google it seems as one would expect.

Is there really no one who uses the notes from their google account?
On my iPhone it connected the build-in notes program with google notes so it downloaded my notes from google and also uploaded any new notes i made, i really miss this on my android now
If you know any way to achieve this please let me know. Thanks!
Open Gmail third icon along "manage labels", Scroll down to notes
Sorted

Problem with this proposal is that i can not edit the notes from phone as a "note". They are handled as email using gmail android application.
So question is still open....
Or use evernote?

Anyone know how to get Google voice to work with the native messaging app? Google play has it.
I have recently purchased the app but curious if any developers know how to get it to work with the current app or chomp.

Is there really a difference between these two apps? I've always been curious about it.

I believe facebook messenger is purely the messaging part of facebook. You can send messages and all, but you can't access your news feed for example. But facebook app contains everything

Thanks muchly, now I know!
I can't get the contacts to show in the main screen without going to all contacts. Any ideas? I'm also using the Google play launcher if that helps.

You would need to install the contacts, the stock email client, Hangouts & probably the framework. It works fine on the GPe edition, but it is heavily integrated into other apk's & the framework.
So now when I hit reply on my gear fit 2, it doesn't bring up my set of predefined messages to reply with.... It just says open on phone.
Can't figure out why

I got the same with my stock SMS app (i'm using MIUI/android5.1). But "replies" are working e.g. with Textra on my phone. So probably it is just not compatible with some apps.
Shame on Samsung -_-

Try textra.
I was using yaata sms, but it wouldn't work. As soon as I tried textra sms it worked perfectly. Perhaps Google messenger isn't playing along.
