Hello, I had installed xzu dual recovery and then flashed cm 11 but the problem is after flashing cm 11 I lost my recovery and when I tried to reflash it it dosent get installed when I try to boot in recovery the screen gets stuck at sony logo, please help I do have a nandroid backup,I even tried to flash stock ftf via flashtool but installation gets aborted due to no reason please help I want to go back on stock
I got stuck with recovery also, the only easy option that helped we was flashing ftf in flashtool.
Make sure that firmware that you download with xperifirm is not unpacked immediatly. (dont tick the checkbox), unpack it later with flashtool and it wont give you errors

I suggest getting tft from xperifirm, and then unpack it with flashtool.
The newest flashtool by androxyde has all of this in one package.

Hello,
Well, First, to root I've used this http://www.techclap.com/9936/root-sony-xperia-p-lt22i-phone-tutorial/
Then after crashing my xperia with CWM, I've reflash my phone with the previous kernel.elf and it's ok.
Do this
Install flashtool and flash stock firmware.
wait till flashtool tells you to connect your phone in flash mode.
In flashtool download drivers manually and it will do the job.
Okay, I have a big problem with my phone, I decided to redo the operating system to a new version/ROM because the one i was using on it before several issues where coming up with it, 1: I Couldn't connect to other providers even though i had phone unlocked. 2: Some default programs where having problems starting.
So When doing a kernel upgrade my phone did not respond kept staying for 2 hours on the "SE" logo, and would not budge, so i decided to remake it, after about 4 hours i was able to get a OS on it, but this OS was older and out of date, when trying to go back to xRecovery it did not want to come up, i downloaded a Reboot to Recovery APK, which informed me that My "xRecovery" was not installed, which is weird because it was installed before.
I been trying to get the Default root method to install xRecovery which every time i ran the "Flash tools" program, it would not allow me to install xRecovery.
If anyone can contact me on skype "mradziwilko" to help me out, or post here ill be here checking on forum every min.
Thanks

Hi buddy, Have you tried to use ftf file like zahdi5h, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2212260 to update?
You have to have unlocked boot loader and you can drag and drop the ftf into flash tool. Make sure you tick no final verification in flashtool or you will get error.
If that don't work then I suggest starting over with fresh 2.3.3.
Go back to stock using Sony Ericsson Update Service (seus) Use google or search threads for program.
Then just re-do, unlock boot loader and install recovery again with flashtool.
Hopefully zahdi5h ftf file will get you out of trouble.

I downloaded this FTF File, when opening it with the latest Flash Tool, it does not Recognize it.
Is their a possability you can link me another FTF, i know CM9 worked, but because i dont have a boot loader i need a ftf to be flashed, i tried with the IMG file, but the flashtool.exe keeps saying <Waiting for Device> and does nothing.
Also to add more info :
My Phone I thought was originaly a Xperia X10a, which it bios it says its a Xperia X10i.

Hi mate is your boot loader unlocked? If not then unlock it with flashtool. Try Version 0.9.10.1 of flashtool. Work's for me.
Download from http://androxyde.github.io/index.html?1373179542000
And you can also drag and drop the FTF file into flash-tool. FTF contains Kernel and rom., tick the no final verification box on bottom right.

Hi,
I m trying to flash Cynogen Mod 12 on my Xperia L phone, using FlashTool.
However, unlike .ftf file, FlashTool is not recognising the zip. I even tried to extract the zip in a folder containing boot.img, still the FlashTool is not recognizing anything there.
Please help.

I'd suggest you flash it from the recovery. It's a more successful and preferred option.

Don't really matters, the img is flashed with ROM anyway, problem you installed ROM for different phone.
Turn the phone off and flash stock with flashtool, then start over, with ROM for your phone this time.

Okay, flash mode and fastboot mode drivers installed I assume.
Download stco rom FTF, put it in flashtool firmware directory, start flash in flash mode, choose the file you have dowanloaded, wait till flashtool ask you to connect in flash mode, turn the phone off (press power + volume up untill you feel (1+) 3 vibrations,) connect the USB cable while holding volume down key.

Yest that flashtool.
There only stock rom FTFs no others, you will have to search your phone android development forum for one.
Open flash tool, turn off your phone, connect to the PC while pressing volume down key, flashtool should display "device connected in flash mode", and it should stay connected for about 45 seconds if no flash is being made.

Just try if you can get flash mode to work without flashing anything as I explained. This is the key for recovery.
You can also create your own FTF.
Start update with PC Companion until it asks you tp connect in flash mode, then quit and build the FTF with flashtool.

Edit: Got it to shutdown.
