Need help in identifying and rooting my V10 - LG V10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm not sure if this is my V10 version:
SW Version Info: H96010c-ESA-XX
Factory Version: LGH960AT-00-V10c-ESA-XX-NOV-18-2015
SW Original Version: LGH960AT-00-V10l-GLOBAL-COM-NOV-18-2015
Can anybody point me in the right direction to root this?
There are so many threads on rooting I'm not exactly sure which version to choose, and I might brick my device.
Thank you.

Thats the software version numbers. Check in the "Hardware Info" section in Settings. Does seem that you have a H960 ( LGH960AT-00-V10c-ESA-XX-NOV-18-2015)

Indeed it is, I have the 64gb single sim variant, not sure if it is an international version though (bought from the Philippines)
Thing is, I'm not sure which of the rooting process in the General sub forum for v10 I should follow..

I have the same request
I have the same problem. Have you got any information? I googled for the kernel version and your inquiry was the only link that came up.
If you have succeeded in rooting your phone please let me know how.
Thank you.

This is the Galaxy S i9000 area.. not the SII.... pay attention and post your messages correctly ...
If the phone is untouched and he wants to let it this way, only use Kies to update it.... if your facing any sort of problems, try a reset (WIPE)
Regards

this is the GALAXY S2 area.. also, don't forget to pay attention before you "scold" someone
your phone seems fine.. it's on ICS, maybe you just need a better modem for your carrier/region.
cheers

It's very common for mods to move threads to the forum they SHOULD be in. This thread may very well have started out in the I9000 forum.

Just to help which country are you in, UK, Ireland or somewhere else, there are a lot of versions but they are sometime country specific so wont work properly if you install the wrong one.

You can use Odin software to manually upgrade your phone's firmware. Then you can root it using CF root kernel.
You need to use a modem designed in your location like XXKL1 etc.
HIT THANKS IF IT HELPS YOU IN ANYWAY!!!

Need help getting an AT&T Note working on a Telus network.

Model: SAMSUNG-SGH-I717
Android Version: 2.3.6
Baseband Version: I717UCLA1
Kernel Version: 2.6.35.11
Build number: GINGERBREAD.UCLA1
I bought an AT&T Note off of eBay thinking that I would have no problems unlocking it for use on Telus (and I didn't), but I've been running into issues where certain parts of my city (Ottawa) leave me with absolutely no reception (circle with the strike through). I'm thinking that this may be related to the radio somehow. I've researched a bit on XDA and elsewhere, but I haven't found anything that I can say for sure would work with me.
Does anyone know what may be wrong and how I can fix this?
You should install the correct modem through CWM. Find one that works from here. do a nandroid first.

if the radio you install gives you the "insert sim" error when u go to network, restore then try a different radio
took me eons to figure this out

I thought that might be the case, but I just wanted to make sure. Thanks for the advice! Just to be clear, though, I wouldn't want a T-Mobile radio, right? I'd be better off finding a Telus radio?

Need help

Hello:
First of all telling you that I'm new in the forum and at rooting android phones.
Two weeks ago, I went to China and someone asked me if I could buy to him a mobile there,
I thought that I was buying a Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini and I bought a Feiteng A7100 (or one exactly like that) without knowing it.
As it has a very bad rom, I tried what is written in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2149396
And now, my mobile has a colorless graphics and with less ressolution.
I have another one exactly like the rooted. Can I backup its rom? Can I recover the graphics of the rooted one?
Heeeelp!!
Thanks in advance.

Honestly I don't want to upgrade to Jellybean if it's not necessary. I just need to know how to install CyanogenMod and which version I need for my phone. Cheers

First you need to flash a CM kernel(it will be given in the CyanogenMod Roms thread) then through CWM flash CM 10(for 4.1.2) or CM 10.1(for 4.2.2).
Edit :
DELETED links since I didn't notice your model number before , and I can't find any official cm versions for SCH-R760. Try searching harder for ported versions.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
And don't bump posts after 8 hrs (after 24 hrs is acceptable). You make a thread or a post & wait patiently for an answer.
And you need to understand that because you have a relatively obscure phone few people who hang around I9100 Q&A have, it's only natural that you're going to wait a lot longer for that help for the most part unless it's something generic/that applies to most Samsung phones.
