My G2 reboots and go into CWM.

ok.... lot of things happening.... kingroot says i am rooted... step 2 didnt work but after keep trying it worked once and said successful but it didnt reboot to recovery....
then even the root checker says "Root access is not properly installed...." :crying:
what are my options all my data is backed up.......
:crying:
ok now i went ahead and used the flashtool to flash 5.0.2 ftf that i made from downloading the files using XperiFirm.
Its booting up right now and this will hopefully get me back to where i was before...
After this I rooted using the Kingroot app version available in english in the XDA forum (plz search for it.. sorry i didnt save the link).
Now i am rooted with Kinguser as the superuser app
Same here
No recoveries were injected but rooted
At least we are rooted on stock lollipop... thats the good part... i have restored my titanium backups no issues.... i am rolling......
but can we trust the kinguser as the superuser app?
Do I need to unlock bootloader before do this?

No you don't, it can be used for locked bootloader. You only can used root access by kinguser not SuperSU and because it stuck on step 1, you won't have the recovery on your device.
Flash the zip file attached using TWRP recovery and you are rooted. :good:
I must be missing some steps
I must have missed some initial steps at some point. I've tried to install TWRP using Mobileuncle Tools and SPFlash Tools without success.
When I try to start my phone into bootloader mode, I get a warning that the function is turned off for security.
What am I doing incorrectly?
Thanks in advance! I appreciate your good works!

I'm sorry that it has taken so long to reply. Summer is crazy around here. Look up "chaos" in the dictionary and you will find my picture beside the definition!
My phone, actually today, updated to Android 6. So, I will need to root it over again. As soon as that happens, I'll get rid of that KingRoot bs.
Again, thanks for your help!

At this stage it doesn't seem possible to root as there isn't a proper working TWRP which would allow one to flash SuperSu to gain root. There have been several attempts but nothing seems to last long before it disappears. Looks like Jemmini is working on one but the link isn't active right now. Once this is up then rooting the phone is very simple.
There aren't any custom rom's either......
Thank you for reply, I hope I near future there is a suggestion

Hello! To display the recovery commands you need to press volume up + power keys for 5/6 seconds ... repeat this operation two or three times and the Recovery commands will appear...

Hello everyone!
Just the other day I finally managed to root my Gemini Pro and id love to share with everyone how. The one problem with this method is that there is no TWRP involved but a bonus is that not even the boot loader needs to be unlocked, so you get to retain all of your data.
Steps:
Install the latest Magisk Manager
Download the stock rom for the Gemini Pro (found on Ulefones website) onto your phone
Open up the Magisk Manager on your phone
Press Install > Install >Patch Boot image File, and select the stock boot image file
Magisk Manager will now patch your boot image, and store it in [Internal Storage]/MagiskManager/patched_boot.img[.tar]
Flash to the boot partition using the "SPFlash" method
Voila!!!
If you have any issues dont be afraid to ask! Always here to help
Thanks
Rory
Howzit guys, Hope this is in the correct section...
I bought a H96 Pro TV Box, and went through all the hassles of setting everything up. part of that was installing my DSTV NOW app, but this damm app recognised that the TV Box was rooted, and with my old TV Box I just installed "Hide Root lite" and it was sorted.. but with this spesific TV Box, I am unable to hide my root, I have installed all the root hiding apps, they all just get stuck at "Hiding root, please wait"...
So I tried installing SuperSU, never should have done that.. bricked my box, stuck in Boot logo.. so I had to Firmware flash using Burn Card...
all set up again, I need assistance in this regard... I just want to hide my root from some apps.
any assistance would be awesome peeps. thanks in advance.

Either ways, you need root!
And if the Box indeed comes rooted, then you can use it without needing the SuperSU app. The app is a way to allow and deny (and remove root completely) the root access. If the no SuperSU app is installed, the applications will automatically gain root access when they need to, unless the device isn't REALLY or PROPERLY rooted.

Frankly, I don't have any experience with TV Boxes (never got one). But it should normally work just like any Android system.
So, root is all you need to install TWRP.
Install Terminal Emulator app and type this:
su
If you see this symbol $ becomes # , It means you're truly rooted.
Add a photo or a screenshot to your post. And then we can proceed to next the step.

Hi You can use the amlogic burning tool to flash this box using a Male to Male usb cable connected to pc.
The burning tool can be found on entertainmentbox.com
Please forward the link to the unrooted firmware I would like to test it on one of my boxes.
I have exactly the same problem with the same apps and same android box, so frustrating!!!!
