Haha. I don't know... 4 has pretty good life too
I'd try AOKP with Boeffla on yankactive
I’ve had best results with Rom 2 as well
Wow.. That's very much helpful.

At this moment I'm using the stock ROM... I don't know if the customized ones are still 100% to be our first...

There is no best. This is a ridiculous question that gets asked every day. What's good for one person may not be for someone else.
You have to try them for yourself.
If there was a best, surely everyone would use only 1 rom....

Try CheckROMv2 + nimphetamin3 kernel

Hi,
It's not a silly question - there are far too many custom roms with custom kernels. The combinations of these add up to an awful lot of flashing, not to mention then running it for a few days to get an idea on battery and performance. It would probably take weeks!
Anyways, for me, i rooted my stock UK rom using Chainfire 6.3, and then froze any bloatware apps i didn't use or want using Titanium Pro. This is now giving me better battery life than previously and running nice and smooth.
To give you an idea, i had around 25 hours moderate use with around 4.5 hours screen time.
Hope that helps a little. I'll probably try a custom rom sometime once things settle a little more, though i'm really really hoping for Jelly Bean now.....

What Processes did you freeze? I am considering this too but I don't see too many processes which drain the battery (unlike the S2 when I first got it). Thanks.
Plz share your experience which kernel is good for healthy battery life ?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
There's no such thing. So many variables determine battery life, and everyone will have a slightly different (at least) experience with a particular kernel because everyone has their phone setup/uses their phone differently.
Given how easy it is to flash kernels, backup & restore with CWM/Recovery, try some kernels out & see how they work for you.

Try dark knight kernel. But as everyone else has been saying, creating a "what is the best" thread is against the rules

Hey guys, which Rom save more battery?
来自我的 HTC6435LVW 上的 Tapatalk
You're asking an extremely general question. What ROM would you prefer? Sense based? Aosp? Be specific. I personally run Newt's NOS Google play edition 4.2.2. I have great performance and battery life. I recommend that ROM over others. I haven't found any bugs with it. Extremely stable.
Thanks,I will try it

No ROM gives better battery life on LTE. I mostly get 3-3.5 hrs of sot in LTE.
Purity rom!
Sent from my ONE E1003 using XDA-Developers mobile app
You should try Sultan's Rom first.
Purity rom is very stable. Other than that, XOSP rom is really cool. I am using XOSP from 3 months and I never had any problems.

I'm on CM 13 sultan since 25th june, very stable for me.
I'm on resurrection remix oreo and I'm hardly getting 8hrs sot and the performance is also a bit laggy...on stock kernel
Plss suggest me a custom kernel with better performance and battery backup...or the stock one is good enough?

Battery life = FrancoKernel
Performance = Stormguard Kernel.
However...
Battery Life is inversely proportional to Performance.

Rr, aoscp, aex and liquid remix are definitely worth trying.
Kep in mind that rr, aex and liquid remix have same features tho but rr is most stable. And aoscp really stands out of crowd with its own minimalist features.:good::highfive:
