I'm running stock uprooted 5.1.1.
After LG Bridge downloaded the update, I got an error on my device right at 49% that says "Image Verifying Failed", two times in red. After that message I get a message in Bridge that my phone cannot be updated, and that I need to retry the update, only to get the same error message.
Has anyone encountered this problem? If so, how were you have to resolve it?
Also, I checked for an OTA update, and got the following:

This is a screen shot of your phone if your using lg bridge plug your phone into Computer and update thru there. I did and had no issues and it didn't even wipe my device

i was trying to update my S2 to 2.3.4 by kies in the middle of the update some error showed up and since then it's at black screen with a phone icon next to a pc icon

and when i try to connect it to kies it take like a 1 min then it give's me thie message "device not responding to resolve the issue reboot the device"
ps i have win 7 64 bit and the latest kies ver 2.0.3.11

Try using a usb jig to force it in download mode. Then flash new firmware with odin. You can find all the info on this forum.

Which firmware did you use/what was your process? I get stuck on the DL window as well.
I just got my Z2 and on the initial boot it froze up, so I forced a reset. Now it's working fine apart from NFC which doesn't work at all.
I've tried a reflash on Update service and it's the same.
On the Z1 after an update I often saw the "NFC Firmware updating" notification, is there anything I can try to force this on the Z2?

Took me 5 attempts to get my qx10 paired with the z2 using near field. Kept saying incorrect password, then update software, then it just worked.

Ah, is just get errors when anything tries to activate NFC. So if I go into settings and select One Touch settings, it fails and gives an error.
Edit: ok, so found the errors above, cleared apo data and restarted. It works fine now.
Strange that a flash didn't fix that!

I get multiple security notices every day saying "unauthorized actions were detected and recommends me restart my phone to undo any authorized actions." I have frozen everything related to Knox. Other solutions?
This is the Samsung security update software. You need to freeze that app.

Actually, I deleted security log agent and it went away. If you have root, just use a file browser to delete the folder in /system/app/SecurityLogAgent.
Edit: ya stang's rom doesn't have security policy updates yet the notification still comes up.
Like the title says my phone has no sound.
I bought it from eBay. The guy said it was his wife's phone and it would keep rebooting and apps were crashing. Since she was due for a upgrade she just got a SGS7.
I got the phone working perfectly exempt there is no sound and the mic also is not working.
I've tried flashing the h90120j.kdz using LGUP. That worked without issue.
Then I tried rooting it with the .tot file but I keep getting this error at 9%.

I was hoping if I could root the phone and flash a new ROM the sound might work.
