I have been slowly taking photos and making wallpapers until now where I feel I can show them off, but I have been having difficulty making an app for them, I haven't developed for android before but I am a web designer so I thought it wouldn't be too hard. I've been using an app template called Polar and although it works its designed for icons and I can't get rid of the icons tab or categorise the wallpapers like I would wish to, what can I use?

Anybody know of an app that will take a small image and create a tiled wallpaper from it? I know how to do it with an image editing program but an Android app to do it would be great. I have various patterns like bricks, coins, etc that I've collected over the years.
IM not sure what u want but if IM not wrong photo grid is an app which combines numerous pictures into one it's free on market
from raj's s2
Sort of... That app will combine up to 9 photos (they can all be the same) into one, but there are seams between the photos and the result doesn't work well as a tiled wallpaper.
What I'm looking for is what Windows does, take a small image and without resizing it just tile it as the wallpaper, hopefully without intermediate steps.
I want to use the wallpapers in this app but as with all the other background apps I have tried you have to use another app just to get the entire picture in the frame. The problem is I cannot find the backgrounds from in my phone and there's no way to save the images just set them as the wallpaper. Any help would be appreciated.

The reason you can't get the entire image in the single frame because of the way Android handles wallpapers. Here's a good write-up on it and why Android does what it does with any wallpaper app: http://lifehacker.com/5657727/whats-the-deal-with-androids-weird-wallpaper-requirements
Also, if you'd like to download the images from the app the Pro version allows you to do so. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rwilco12.WallpaperGalleryPro&hl=en

I wrote my first live wallpaper today because I did not find something like it and thought it should not be too difficult to do. So here it is. I always wanted a real live wallpaper displaying something from the web instead of just a picture or offline animation. For me it is really useful because I can keep an eye on my favourite webcam over the day and decide to go there if the conditions stay or improve. A lot of other use cases should be possible ...
There is now also a picture frame app and a live widget included (also running on devices without live wallpaper support).

Hello,
So I have been wondering is there a way to create themes using the computer and then exporting them to applications like Themer and Buzz Launcher. I know this part of the forum is MyColorScreen, however, I believe this question is going towards all the launchers. I personally feel that it is difficult to create themes using your phone (I don't have access to a tablet). I have tried MyColorScreen and it is a wonderful app but it just doesn't have the features I want. So, do you guys have any programs that you use?
I am trying to use GIMP to make my own icons for now but the application UCCW is what I am mostly interested in. That app is powerful, but as you already know it is quite tedious. Any way to use it on the computer?
Thanks!
I want to edit an app named "Pixelscapes" on play store. It has 3 unique live wallpapers and also free and no ads. But i have been using this app for so long and with only 3 wallpaper it started to be boring.
I can design GIFs and Pixel arts so I want to use my designs.
I know some basic fundamentals of java and C. But i have no idea about android development. Where should i start?
Is there any guide ?
I just want to edit THIS app i have no intention to do more.
( Why i want to use especially this app? Because this is only battery friendly live wallpaper which is really smooth and works perfectly fine on my device.)

So if I understand you want to edit the app in order to display your gif and pixel arts in what I guess to be the select menu?
