Unmount memory card and try to install it again you can remount afterwards.
I think my real problem is with the ads-blocker that dont let medscape get to update and download (They say this in their app page on google play). I can install the app but cant get it to download the content needed. So how can i deactivate ad-blocker or another way to get pass this situation?
Sorry if its a noob question, but i really would like to install ICS and have this app

You have already answered yourself.
Remove add blocker or read its instructions to revert hosts file and update .
It works for me but i do not use ICS .

Stated Fixes don't work
I've tried the above methods w/ no avail. Medscape still does not work offline. "Internet connectivity interrupted"
Nexus 7 running android 4.1.1
Rooted w/ Wugfresh
Adfree NOT installed
superSU # installed
busybox free installed
host files (in etc/ and system/etc) don't show anything except "host 127.0.0.1"
works fine w/ internet connection, but would like to have it without.
updates fine as well...just doesn't show offline content for some reason...

If you have installed ad-blocker / custom rom / rom toolbox, then please remove and try again. However, when ad-blocker is the issue the app clearly mentions it and i am sure you must have tried it.
How i got it to work
Go to settings ------> developer options -----> uncheck 'Don't keep activities'
This worked for me and a friend of mine.

I believe it's the rooted version of the official international ICS rom. Basically you can download the non rooted version from Huawei website.

it is rooted, no need for another root in this rom
just flashed this and all went ok thanks
the only thing missing is the free 16gig cloud storage from the b10 rom..glad i hadnt stored anything there yet,,lol

I am used to flashing roms onto my phone via cwm bot if i eaxtact the type of files used here i cannot see where the apks are so dont know how to extract them

the apps are in the app folders of the partition files:
cust.img.ext4 or
system.img.ext4
to see the files inside yo have to mount them.
In Linux the command is:
sudo mount -o loop system.img.ext4 /mnt/temp
Do you know in which ROM they still where includet?
Just did a search in the forum. User KristoffBar has extraktet the apks and postet it for download:

I just installed this version on my Mediapad - everything went flawless. Thanks a lot!
Headphones not detected
so far only problem I've found is audio doesn't switch to headphones on connection. Haven't tried my bluetooth headphones yet though.
EDIT: headphones do work, just MXplayer wouldn't output to them. poweramp and default music player work fine.

Has anyone else installed this on a springboard in the US? I am having problems with t-mobile data.
The install went fine and it looks like I have connection to data but the only website it will allow me to go to is tmobile.com. I did not set up the tablet on wifi. Do I need to login using wifi first? I do not have access to a wifi network at the moment.
I should add that I am trying to use a t-mobile phone sim card that was working fine with a previous international version and the phone and messaging functions are working.

Yes.
Sadly, it does not seem possible to have phone, text, and data with t-mobile on the same sim card. You can have phone and text (phone plan), or data and text (mobile broadband plan) but not all at once.
I was trying to disable the shutter and focus sound settings of my camera when I messed it up.
Device: Samsung galaxy s2
Android Version: 4.1.2
Kernel Version: 3.0.31-Jeboo_Kernel_v1.2a+..........
Service provider: Optus Australia
Okay! I hope that the above detail is sufficient now let me tell you what I did wrong.
I was successful in getting rid of the shutter sound and I was reading around to find a solution for disabling the focus sound too. Followed this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2058850) to disable the camera focus sound and probably I have lost my camera.
1. I first copied the SamsungCamera.apk file to a my internal SD card folder (Using ES Fileexplorer).
2. I unzipped the newly copied folder using the same ES fileexplorer.
3. Entered the folder name raw and deleted the focus.ogg sound files.
4. Zipped it back together using the ES fileexplorer and named it as SamsungCamera.apk
5. Again back to system\app and deleted the factory SamsungCamera.apk file
6. Copied the edited SamsungCamera.apk to the system\app folder.
7. Tried to install the app -Unsuccesful
8. Camera is not working anymore:crying:

That's easy -- just restore the original SamsungCamera.apk file, which you backed up before making any changes to it. You did back it up, right?

Yeah, I was expecting that... Here is the file I saved at some point from the stock 4.1.2:

When you copy it to the /system/app folder (rename it to SamsungCamera.apk), make sure you set the right permissions (-rw-r--r--), and don't try installing it -- just reboot the phone.

Any idea how I can get rid of the focus beep? I got into trouble just trying to get rid of the annoying beeps.
The process what I followed to get rid of focus beep makes sense, but after I pack it together and replace it in the app folder it is not working!

Hi, do you think you could please help me.I am having a bit of trouble installing this mod. I saved the zip to my sd, then i put my phone in recovery mode. Then i pressed "apply update from external storage" and chose the zip. This dosn't install it i just get an error. What am i doing wrong?
Edit: Don't worry i figured out what I did wrong i didn't have cwm recovery installed

I've been without a camera on my Rogers Samsung Galaxy SII LTE SGH-I727R for months now. It was working fine for a long time and one day just stopped working. I never dropped it and I always had it in a protective shell. Whenever I start the Camera app (or any app that uses the 8mp back camera) it just hangs up and then gives me a 'Unfortunately, Camera has stopped' error and crashes. The front camera still works in applications like Skype. Device is running Android 4.1.2
So far I've tried:
* 'Clear data' and 'Force stop' the Camera (v1.5) app in Applications. The cache is always 0.00 so I can't clear it.
* Software factory reset (several times, sometimes entering setup data, other times leaving it blank, sometimes connecting to wifi and trying to get an update etc)
* Recovery mode and Hardware factory reset
All produce the same error so I was wondering if I should try this camera rom? Will it work for the SGH-I727R?
Was also thinking about flashing it with Cyanogenmod 10.2, mostly to play with CM but also to see if that for some reason fixes it.

I don't get what you mean by almost normal.
What I mean is that it didn't work flawlessly, it froze from time to time, but most of the time it worked good.

I have been facing this problem from last 3 days, i updated MIUI and after that its not working.
Here is what i have done so far.
Edit the host file and put "127.0.0.1 localhost" No Luck.
there was nothing else in the host file which i can comment out, so i even try to paste the IP and then comment it out with # Still Nothing.
Cleared " Play Store Cache" > Nothing
Reset the " Time and Date" > Nothing
Factory Rest the device > No Luck
Install another rom " CM Based" Still the same
Any thing i can find on internet i tried but still stuck with it.
There is one strange thing though, if i try to add an account or open play store with "Mobile Data Connection" its working but not with WIFI.
My wifi is Ok and i even try at a friend's house with his Wifi Connection.
Same Issue.
its driving me crazy so anything else i miss or i can do please suggest.

Try to do the various wipe (excluding the wipe data) and reflash the ROM. For curiosity, which version of ROM you are using?
I had sepratly formated (System, Data,Cache) from mounts and storage.
I am using "MIUI ASNET 3.11.29" i flashed the new verson and then revert back to old one still same.
I don't know why its working with data connection and not Wifi.

Same issue here.
Tried everything, and someone told that its related to wifi router ARP - so sorted it out too but result was negative.
And then found at google that its related to some wifi API bug and needs a patch fix. Still searching in dark

Don't think thats the case, cuz i tried with different routers, They can all have the same problem.
But still maybe something we may found which can help
Try these things :
Clear data, cach and uninstall update of play store.. force close to:
1- google play store
2- google play sevices
3- google services framework
Then restart ur phone
Delete gmail from sittings account then sign in
Stop freedom and closed if it's still work
If u r missid up with host file by any program.. u should try fixed by install any app change in host like adfree or adaway .. open app .. hide Ad then restore to default
Remove u battery about 2 minutes
If all these not fixed the problame ..so call samsung ^^
