As shown in the pic... Google services framework is consuming too much data... Almost 1gb overnight.... Can somebody tell what could be the problem??? I checked to see if play store or any large app was updated over night.... But nothing huge was updated....

I checked the photos app just to be sure and it sure did backup some of my photos... Thnx for the help... I turned it off....
One small question... Could it also affect my battery life in anyway?
Sent from my KIW-L21 using Tapatalk

I'm not sure exactly what you are asking....
Turning off specific backups will give you better battery.

I'm asking if letting photos make a backup in background will have any serious affect on battery life.... Cause i recently updated to b140 and my battery life has become ****... Even the charging time has increased...
Sent from my KIW-L21 using Tapatalk

That's odd as ****.
My battery life went UP.
I really am at a loss... Backups do consume battery, but this type of thing shouldn't happen.

Well I'm be factory resetting the phone tomorrow... To see if they helps cause i didn't after updating... Will tell the result then
Sent from my KIW-L21 using Tapatalk

I would just turn data off when you aren't using it. It's a simple thing, but that's very odd, especially if you were connected to wifi

I'm guessing here, but a glitch in " not the matrix.. LMAO!! that was funny as all hell " but for real, I'm guessing that you had a hard reboot and one random / fuct up app acting up and trying to sync or somn that made you go in to a reset.
Now did the phone reset or was it normal? all info you can provide could be extremely helpful to us all

Maybe you have drained the battery in recovery and charged it while it was in recovery or it was off.
I literally watched it do this. No reboots or anything. The most interesting part is the increasing red line. I gained battery slowly while it wasn't even charging

Why don't you go to sprint and tell them your battery is acting up they should be able to test it and replace it for you without needing your phone.

lol ^
could simply just be an error in the software reading the battery, I have seen my 3VO warn me about my battery being under 15% but the icon on the top of the screen said 45... weird things happen.

We usually check for battery hungry apps or if they are rooted before handing out batteries

Power Saving Mode

Anyone use this feature on their S2? Its on Sammy based ROMs. I noticed if you enable it, it makes the phone run noticeably slower, which is presumably good to prolong battery life.
Haven't had a good use of it, as I only discovered it yesterday, but does anyone else?

Sorry if I didn't make myself clear, but my question was, do people find it makes a noticeable improvement to battery life?

And i think it underclocks your cpu, so basicly yes
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
Its only meant to be used when your battery is running low.
You can switch it on when say your battery is at 30%.
But as you know that will hinder the phones full potential.
Yes, I have seen that there are two options, for system and custom power saving.
When I choose system, it underclocks the CPU, but when I choose custom, it doesn't control the CPU, only the data connectivity options.
Just wondering how much extra juice you guys have managed to squeeze out of it.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
Yeah, I know its primarily meant to be used with low battery, but sometimes when I go on long journeys, and no access to a charger, it may be useful.

Ah, we must have very different usage!
I see you're on the leaked JB which drains battery faster.
On stock ICS, without power saver, I can push to 3 hours 20 minutes screen on time. Medium brightness.

[APP] CSC Changer

Hi everyone,
This is a simple (root) app I made to let you change your CSC on a number of firmwares across multiple Samsung devices. Simply push the button, and you will be sent to the list of CSC codes, where you can choose whatever CSC. Credits go to Perka, who thought of this and posted the method in this thread. I merely made an app to do it.
THIS WILL WIPE YOUR PHONE, LIKE PERFORMING A FACTORY RESET. MAKE BACKUPS OF WHATEVER YOU DO NOT WANT TO LOSE.
The files on your SD Card will not be touched.

This. Don't know why, but Samsung requested it be that way . Shouldn't be too much trouble, with TB and all.

1. Can't change its position
