Hi everyone,
So i very recently got my new phone, the XIAOMI REDMI 3, preinstalled with MIUI 7 and Google Play Store, Google Play services, Google Services Framework etc. at first, everything was working perfectly fine, but then suddenly my Play Store could not 'connect', displaying something along the lines of 'could not connect' and showing the 'retry' button. I factory reset my device, as snapchat was also not working (connection errors, even when my connection was fine and I could go on other internet based apps) after resetting, none of the google services work anymore -- I tried logging in to my google account by going on settings > other accounts > add > google, but it displays 'couldn't sign in, there was a problem communicating with Google servers. Try again later.' The same can be said for whenever I try to go onto play store. I am at my wits end and any help would be greatly appreciated as to how to solve this dilemma of mine.
Thanks
Preinstalled with google play means the seller tampered with the rom and you'll probably run into bugs. You'll need to flash a rom from the miui website, there's plenty of threads about this.
Here ya go for official ROM, http://en.miui.com/thread-228048-1-1.html, after installing that, just open Mi App Store, search for 'Google', click the Baidu icon, then install Google services from that.

I can't flash roms as my bootloader/recovery is locked. I have already applied for the unlock, but I have heard that it will take up to weeks until the request is seen

You should be able to do the official one using the updater app. Download the rom and save it to the phone. In the updater app select from file using the three dot menu in the right.
Sorry I can't remember whether there is a set folder or the name of the menu item. ... Hopefully you find those bits out!

Huawei has released the latest X1 update to their Lollipop 5.1.1 beta ROM - B113.
This update includes 3 new features:
1) Home screen landscape mode
2) Dual window panes (aka split screen)
3) 4G only mode (for 503L)
Update also include some general bug fixes.
Standard Huawei update procedures apply. Ensure your X1 is already on the beta B110 ROM before you update.
(If your X1 is not, refer to this thread on how to get 5.1.1 into your phablet - http://forum.xda-developers.com/huawei-mediapad/general/rom-t3226547)
1) Download the update -
a. 503L http://www.mediafire.com/download/7b6d9i4hkyll4au/7D-503LV100R002C208B113.zip
b. 501u http://www.mediafire.com/download/acc19f1c8nwza8e/7D-501uV100R002C208B113.zip
2) Rename it to 'update.zip'
3) Create a folder named 'dload' at the root of your microSD card
4) Copy 'update.zip' into the above created folder
5) Go to 'Update' under 'Settings'
6) Click on 'Menu', 'Local update' and choose the incremental update file
7) Phone will reboot and update.
If your X1 is rooted, you may want to unroot it first before proceeding with the above update.
You can re-root it using Kingroot after updating to B113.

Hi, is this still a beta rom ?
As there is an OTA screenshot, did it came this way to B110 users?

yes, this is still a beta rom.
the OTA will only be sent to those who signed up for the beta program (via IMEI), for those who didn't, simply download from the OP and do a manual update.

when you said this is the 6th or 7th time you have flashed B113, how did you do it?
you just flashed it over the present setup (which is B113) or you start from scratch, meaning back to B011 (4.4.2), then the SP05 (lollipop preparation file), then B110 and finally B113?
if you have done a complete new flash, then install the google play store and then the 2 ggole sync apks below, I believe you will not face any problem, give it a try if you have the time.

you just try download play store apk and contact, calendar (gapps) via huawei app ( hi app) . it works perfectly. when i run play music, google play service will update via play store. actually you dont need to install gapps from other source .
i recommend factory reset.

thats exactly what i did everytime i flashed a firmware. only this b113 gives me the problem. the strange thing is, i hv been using b110 for more than a month and everything works fine. then every single time i upgraded to b113, all Google services were only workng normal for a day or even hours. then i downgraded to b110 it happened again within just an hour. i wonder why i could use it(the 1st time on b110 ) for more than a month without any error. could it be the newest version of Google play services apk. conflicts with b113 firmware? because when i uninstalled the update via app manager, it worked fine again although not for long.

Do you have youtube app installed? If yes, uninstall it, reboot and then monitor for any problems with Google framework. Report your observations. Youtube app is known for creating issues with the Google framework on this beta. Please don't install youtube app again.

i don't think recovery is interchangeable between models, even though both phone are using the kirin series of SOC, but afterall, the processor is different.

I've got my Mi Pad 4 after long wait (and even more to get the bootloader unlocked - come on 15 days?!). I installed the Google Play Store and so on (via Google Installer), but I can't download any games. They are visable on the store, but when I try to download and install them, I get an error message (Code 190).
Has anyone the same problem or an idea to get rid of it?

Just got mine today, flashed to stock (had MoKee installed by the vendor), installed Play Store and have the same error but only on certain games most of my other apps installed OK.
I installed APKPure app and that works OK for the apps that gave the 190 error.

I think it occurs only for apps that need additional files. In most cases these are games..that's really annoying. I can't wait to get a global ROM..
i have Xiaomi's OS installed on my MiPad4 and I used the Play Store installer from Xiaomi's Website. No issues so far.

It will work thereafter. Do the same for Google Play Services too for safe measure."

I just received my Huawei Honor 8x Max. It came from China as it's the newer version having 6gb ram & Snapdragon 660...
The operating system seems unstable and despite Google Store being installed it does not work.
When attempting to open it, immediately closes to home screen. Several more attempts & then it says crashed and prompts me to delete it...
Tried clearing data/cache, still not working.
Uninstalled Google Play store still no difference.
Any ideas??

To install Google play on this phone. You need to download gsminstaller.apk. But the phone block you from installing it. First enable developer option. Go to enable usb debugging. Disable monitor apps install by adb.
apkinstaller .c om
Install and run this. Connect your computer to your phone. Install gsminstaller.apk using apkinstaller. After that install Google installer 2.o apk on your phone. Run it.. u should have Google play installed.
All the file can by downloaded by googling it. Sorry it take too long to go step by step detail.

I used adb to try and install gsminstaller.apk from the pc and the phone shows me the same screen blocking the install, saying I should open appgallery to download a safe/compatible version of this app. but this app was removed from the appgallery by huawei...
THE SOLUTION: Go to developer options in the phone and enable app installs without asking for permission.
This will wipe all google apps, but its the only solution that works.
Remember to re-install the old 4.4.4 google contacts sync because I think that gets wiped too.
I hate updates i knew it would ruin my brand new phone... **** you honor, stop ruining our phones. First you make people pay for root, now thins.

2019/05/13 update note:
After recovery to old version and execute step 1~7, It can add card and payment.
And then manual update google play service to latest version(17.1.22), It can payment, but can't add card.
2019/05/14 update note:
After update google play service to latest version, first payment is successful, but second payment is fail.
so......
google play service <17(15 or 16), google pay is working.
google play service =17,google pay isn't working.
and then, about deny google play services connect to internet, this solution is best!
2019/05/15 update node:
Today google play store and google play service force update, 05/14 solution can't work. please try blue solution. My google pay is working.
step:
please disable any internet connect(WiFi and 3G or 4G).
1. go to SYSTEM SETTINGS/Additional settings/Privacy/Special app access/Device admin apps, disable Find My Device.
note:
before disable Find My Device, you can't remove google play service update, so the step is essential.
2. remove google play service update(It will recovery to old version,My version is 15.0.90).
note:
because google play store can't search google play service, so you need a tools guide to google play store. (I'm using root tool box)
or click it guide to google play store.
3. clear cache then data for both Google Play Services and Google Pay.
4. reinstall Google Pay and delete:/data/data/com.google.android.gms folder.
5. hide Google Pay and com.google.android.gms.* in Magisk.
6. reboot.
7. Deny google play store connect to internet(I am using AFWall+).
8. Enable WiFi or 3G or 4G, and then Add card to Google Pay.
9. Deny google play service connect to internet.
10. allow google play store connect to internet.
11. Finish.
please don't update 「google」 app, it will auto update google play service.
step:
1. go to SYSTEM SETTINGS/Additional settings/Privacy/Special app access/Device admin apps, disable Find My Device.
note:
before disable Find My Device, you can't remove google play service update, so the step is essential.
2. remove google play service update(It will recovery to old version,My version is 15.0.90).
note:
because google play store can't search google play service, so you need a tools guide to google play store.
6. reboot.
7. Google Pay working!(version:2.86.243324902 or 2.88.246232551)
8.Deny google play services connect to internet(I am using Disable Service, please read 05/14 update note.) after add card. (essential, please read 05/14 update note and question 1.)
Question:
Q1: Deny google play services connect to internet, why?
A1:Google play service sometimes auto update(example:update "google" app).

So, you're basically breaking some of the phone's most essential functions. I'm not ungrateful or anything, on the contrary, but if you really, really, absolutely need GPay to work - why don't you just run stock with a locked bootloader?
unfortunately i have a china version of Mi 9. so i am not able to use gpay with stock rom

HUGE THANK YOU! After a month of painful troubleshooting finally i got gpay working thanks to you. At first I Had some trouble with play services due to auto update being too fast (yeah, network was faster than my fingers and couldn't block it with afwall in time) but the second time i tried it actually worked just fine. I updated Play Services anyway since i don't need more than the card i already added, but i need the Play Store. Thank you again!
Hi, i have a new instruction from an other forum and it works for me, because i dont need Magisk.
EU 9.5.9, services 17.4.53 configured PAY without magisk \ root through TWRP
SafetyNet did a verification with the application "SafetyNet Helper Sample"
1) through TWRP in /data/data/com.google.android.gms/app_dg_cache we remember the names of the folders
2) with the SafetyNet Helper Sample application, we check, everything is green, we return again to TWRP
3) A new folder will appear in /data/data/com.google.android.gms/app_dg_cache, leave it, we delete the old ones from p1
4) set the permissions 0551 to the /data/data/com.google.android.gms/app_dg_cache folder
and try use gPay

This work but missed some required stages, there is original step by step instruction:
Test with Chine MI 9 with xiaomi.eu 9.5.30 rootless with unlocked bootloader (TWRP 3.3.1-30 Unofficial by mauronofrio)

Hi,
I recently bought a tablet from china but i wasn't told that the google play store wasn't install. I tried to download them from their apps as well through some site but none of them works. The google play store just crash. So i've decided to root it but i couldn't find any roms/firmware which i can use to root the tablet. The tablet current version is 7.
Do i really need to root my tablet or there is a way i can get my google play store running?
I notice that there is some thread for tb-7304i or something, will i be able to use them? If not, where can i get details to root tb-7304n?
can anyone help me with this?

An Android device must NOT be rooted to install Google Play Store on it. Use Google Installer v3 to install Google Play Store. The Google Installer v3 comes as an APK which you can directly download and install on your device. Fortunately, this app doesn’t void warranty as it isn’t performing root or modifying the system files. Once the Google apps have been installed, you can uninstall this app.

So when the Google Services Framework keeps stopping then you know there is something wrong with one of the Google Apps you have installed on your phone. Either Google Services Framework, Google Play Services or Google PlayStore. Picking out the particular app responsible might be tasking so it might be best to just clear the data and cache of ALL three apps and also remove or log out of your Google Account and log back in and finally re-boot device.
