PLEASE HELP (Kernel Help) - Galaxy S6 Edge Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys,
Please excuse my lack of knowledge here, however I am very new to all of this 'Flashing', 'Custom roms' and so on.
My issue is that no matter what I try I cannot get Xmodgames or other particular software to run properly due to SE Enforcing.
Phone Model: Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge (SM-G925F) - Marshmallow 6.0.1
Running custom rom CF-Auto-Root-zerolte-zeroltexx-smg925f.tar
I have super SU installed and it does grant permission, however it still does not work. I have spent hours researching ways around the issue. For example using Terminal Emulator, however I just get the error (Could not set enforce 0 permission denied.)
I have read that you can flash a custom kernel, however I am having trouble finding the correct one. I do not want to brick my phone. Any help would be very much appreciated! Thanks
P.s Have been trying to work this out since 3am! -.-

Whitch option in ODIN 3.10.6 after OTA update problem?

for anyone else who is having issues, if you use the bundled 3.07 that seems to not work. I downloaded 3.10.6 and was able to get it to work on my edge using the 920 file.

Hello,
I have a Samsung Galaxy 6 Edge
Model SM-G925F
Android version 5.0.2
Baseband version G925FXXU1AOCW
Kernel version 3.10.61-4497415
Build number LXR22G.G925FXXU1AOCV
and I would like to root it with CF Autoroot.
I'm not an Android specialist and even the vocabulary is sometimes mysterious to me, so please excuse my naive questions.
The first one is : the phone has received a new software update which is awaiting me to install it, but I haven't done that yet because I saw on the CF Autoroot site that the root for G925F was based on build LRX22G.G925FXXU1AOCV, which I currently have...
So the question is : is it a problem to have the new update (approximately 160Mb I think) pending? Will the root succeed with this pending update?
Second question :
Also, I tried to disable two processes which were called "Software update".
I could only disable one of them (Software Update, 1.59MB size), the other one (Software Update, 19MB size) has its options greyed out and I can't use them.
Is this a problem? Should I re-enable the "Software update" process before rooting?
Third question : what are the consequences of the root?
Will the phone still receive the Samsung updates? I guess that if the answer is yes, updating will remove the root, is this right?
In that case, if I want to keep the root, how can I stop all updates, which currently are pushed to the phone... and that I couldn't stop, cf. question 2.
And, fourth question: after rooting based on the mentionned build, will there be new "roots" for this model, based on newer stock firmware? (so that the phone can receive useful Samsung updates)
Again, sorry for my silly questions, I did read the whole thread, but... I don't get all the subtle "evident" specialist stuff, and I'd like to avoid bricking the phone if possible
Thanks for your answers and help in explaining things to me!

I do believe that when rooting your S6 you will trip the KNOX counter resulting in void warranty and inability to receive official updates. Check out this http://www.kingoapp.com/help/samsung-knox-counter.htm

If I'm on 5.0.2 and flash 5.1.1 without the new f**** bootloader(and probably modem so as to have signal) through flashfire, will I be able to use cf-root after this??
Or it s a matter of kernel as well?
Of course it will trip knox, right?
Sent from my SM-G920F using XDA Free mobile app
So finally cf-root keeping current binary official even with knox 0x1 is not going to happen on 5.1.1??

[HELP] "2017" Samsung Galaxy J3 Emerge (Sm-j327p)

Hey Everyone. I have to post here because I've posted too little to create a thread in a better area, so I really hope this somehow sticks out to anyone that could help. My device is the..
*"2017" Samsung Galaxy J3 Emerge* (Sm-j327p)
The problem I'm having is setting the phone's SE Status to Permissive.
I've tried everything I could find on forums and searches, going into other device forums for ideas and stuff but it's all been one big, confusing fail. The phone is Rooted and has all the basics already installed like xposed, magisk, v4a, atmos etc... But alot of it won't function right without a Permissive set.
If anyone can help or guide me in the right direction, or even compile a Kernel I would highly, highly appreciate it and hope that anyone else in my position would be interested and appreciate this as well. Thank you in advance!

Help with greenify issue

So I am new to this forum and to the greenify app. I would appreciate any assistance. I have a Samsung Galaxy j7 perx and I am trying to install greenify but I don't want the aggressive mode. This is the error message that I get, I don't know what it means or how to fix it but I know someone here does...
the ROM is maintained by 3rd-party developers, please request them to enable the flag "config_enableAutoPowerModes" in the ROM.
Grateful for any help.
Jeffrey
What device and what ROM are you using?
Is your device rooted and you have Xposed installed?
Okay so, I know that I have Samsung Galaxy j7 perx with nougat. It's not rooted, I just got the phone from Boost. I'm not sure how to answer your other questions because I don't know what they mean.

Been Trying to root an S6 Edge for a while now :')

As the title states, I'm trying to root my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge G925W8 (Telus i think?), trying to install custom firmware, trying to unlock my bootloader, etc etc. but every darn tutorial or resource I've found has referenced doing one or the other as a prerequisite or just doesn't work, and I really can't seem to figure out how to do any of this. I've gotten pretty much to the end of my patience with google so I ask for your help, anyone who is willing, please if you could help me figure out how to achieve all of this I would be extremely grateful
try twrp

Download the correct twrp from here
https://twrp.me/samsung/samsunggalaxys6edge.html
Flash twrp through Odin, once twrp installed and boots, flash the magisk zip through twrp and that's it. Very easy. You fill find the latest magisk here on XDA also instructions on flashing twrp
