This is a rom I am working on, my goal is to make use of an old device i still have and to use it as an android tv device. I have tested it. For it to work you need to connect a keyboard or some sort of dpad. This project is in its very early stages and should be posted in a couple of weeks, be paitent.

This is an extremely debloated Samsung oreo rom with absolutely minimal Samsung functionality. The basic ROM apps (dialer, messaging, contacts) are from Google. Only for Galaxy S8 international equinox (SM-950F). Should work on SM-950FD as well as reported in https://forum.xda-developers.com/sho...&postcount=332. Personally I very much like the Samsung phones/hardware but I am not so fond of the software and bloatware. I also prefer to use a ROM which just has what I use. If you want Samsung stuff ... use another ROM !!!

###########INSTALLATION PROCEDURE#############
1. download my kernel
2. copy to sd card
3. go to twrp mode by presssing voloume up key+home button+power key at a time for 3 seconds
4. go to wipe select all except sd card and swipe it
5. go to install and select my kernel and flash it.. and reboot. enjoy..!!

I keep ending in Error 6. My phone is G530H XXU. any suggestions?
Few questions to ya :
1) Is this 5.1.1 kernel with update 7.1.1 kernel commits or port from another j series or a series phone ??
2) Did it boot yet ? And what tw 7.1.1 rom its support ? Tisen or Rio or Lumiére896 ?
3) What is the bugs ? You needs to add more information to this thread so user can know how can they test this kernel
4) Will you port tw 7.1.1 rom to this device ? Or lets the porter do it ?
