Kindle Fire HDX 7" doesn't Power on. - Kindle Fire HDX 7" & 8.9" Q&A, Help & Troubleshoot

Hello,
My Kindle doesn't start up anymore. I first downgraded it to 13.3.x.x and then performed a Factory Reset on it and installed SafeStrap which then Crashed and it said SafeStrap stopped (before I tried unlocking the SafeStrap Rom Slot manager which you have to load while booting) but it didn't say that it was unlocked. Then I went out of town for maybe 30 Minutes. So far everything perfect. But then suddenly, when I came back I wanted to switch it on from Standby and it didn't do anything. Back then the Battery should have been about 90%. I already tried to press the Powerbuton for about 2 minutes but the Screen Still stayed Black. When I connect it to my PC it only shows "Unknown Device" and doesn't seem to be able to detect it. Please Help me because my Warranty ran out. I had Root.
Thanks,
Leonhard

[Q] Unable to start anything

Hello everyone,
I'm a bit crying right now, i hope you can help :-/
So, i thought about going to cyanogen on my tf201 some months ago. What i remember is that i unlocked it using the asus software then i installed some versions of twrp (i think). After that i stopped because i was kind of lost between many tutorials.
I did not use the tablet since that, i was abroad.
I get it back today and i tried to reset everything, so i went in the settings and click on the reset thing. It did not work, the tablet just blocked on Asus screen and when i manually restarted it, it was like i did nothing (normal boot and no reset).
So i went in the bootloader (power + vol down) and i tried the (4th?) option to wipe everything. The thing said something like "loading image ...." and blocked.
Now the tablet is blocked on the first screen (with asus writen in the middle) and it won't boot, i can not go into the bootloader either, i only have that screen.
I can not even shut it down, keeping power pressed will only restart it.
Is there anything i can do or is the tablet dead ?
Thanks for any help

[Q] Bricked(?) Hdx 8.9

Hi everyone. I have a strange problem with my Kindle Fire HDX 8.9. It downloaded the software upgrade, but it won't upgrade. Yesterday the device shut down and rebooted in fastboot, than it was completly died. I can't boot it. If I connect with USB cable I get: QHUSB_BULK. The kindle wasn't rooted. The display is black, there isn't Kindle Logo.
Sorry for my bad english

Press and hold power button for 20+ seconds to see if you get a response. Make sure you have a full charge (any response to the charge cable?). Could be a hardware problem but more likely a botched upgrade. If the device is still under warranty reach out to Amazon. They are pretty good about replacing faulty devices.
I'm in the same boat as the OP.
I have a botched upgrade and Safestrap seemed to got formatted.
Stuck in BULK mode using a Fastboot cable with no ADB access. I can also get to the grey logo screen that prompts for a Factory Reset or Reboot but nothing happens there either.
Am I SOL?
Well I have the same problem in my HDX 7.
I downgraded from 4.5.3 to 3.2.4 because I wanted to root the device.
The installation was successful and my kindle rebooted just fine....I started to download some apps from store....I left the device for 10 minutes closed not turned off and when I came back to open it not to turn on the screen was black and none of the buttons where responding...I tried every combination of buttons but didn't work...My pc recognize it as QHSUSB_BULK...I found the correct drivers and now I can connect it to PC but only in QHSUSB_BULK mode...
It's not rooted,
doesn't have safestrap installed
it doesn't reboot in stock recovery and
It doesn't have warranty cause is outdated
Thanks in advance

Rooted Kindle Fire Gen 2

So I'm running a kindle fire gen 2 that's rooted and i went to flash TWRP which happened "successfully" according to flashify but i went to reboot my kindle and it boots normally for about half a second then sits at a red screen that i cant do anything with. would really appreciate feedback ASAP. I was aware of the dangers of flashing but it still boots so i believe there might still be a hope. (Wont register on my PC when plugged in either)

Safestrap not working on my HDX

Hey there. Just got my kindle today. So I started right away to jailbreak it. I started updating the firmware to 4.5.2. It is an 8.9 2013 Modell.
I finally rooted it with Rootking, cause it did not work with the cve20147911.apk way.
I installed Safestrap 4.01, than installed the recovery, but when I hit Reboot to Recovery, it the kindle resets and then freezes.
When I hardreset it, a Safestrap screen shows up, which says that Safestrap is disabled and the device will reboot in 10 seconds. The other option is hitting Recovery, but that results into a black screen of death and I have to hardreset the device again.

Hum...seems like a cross-post (against XDA rules). Answered this in another thread.

How to flash Ellipsis 7 tablet when it won't boot into factory mode?

I have a Verizon Ellipsis 7 tablet that is stuck in a boot loop. When I turn it on, I get the "Powered by Android" screen and then the screen goes blank but lit, and never gets to the next stage. I tried entering Factory Mode and cleared the eMMC, but after doing that I can't even get back into Factory Mode. (I spoke to a Verizon rep and he said clearing the eMMC likely cleared too much, and it now lacks the proper kernels to start up.)
I believe this whole fiasco may have started when I used the wrong charger after having not turned on the tablet for months. I stupidly ignored the warning, and the problems started soon after (although it worked perfectly normally for about a day first). I now have the correct charger and have fully charged the device overnight, but nothing's changed.
I am trying to flash the device and install TWRP, from my Mac computer. However, since I can't get the device into Factory Mode, I'm not sure how to access it from my Mac. Simply connecting the device doesn't seem to make it discoverable. Is there anything I can do, or am I SOL?
