IOIO Rom v7.1 for n9208 - Galaxy Note5 Android Development

Disclaimer​
Samsung is rolling out OTA update for n9208 - dual sim galaxy note 5 variant but not everyone is getting this, i know we all waited too long to get mm for n9208. Now wait is over, I did not want to share my work on xda anymore and at this stage not at all but many loyal IOIO users wanted to try IOIO asap and Samsung is taking too long to roll it out, so i jumped in to make you guys enjoy mm without any more waiting. i am also not finished with IOIO, i did not add many mods in it but a few simple ones. I will add them asap but for now changelogs are very short.
This is my first cutom rom for any Android device, so expect some bugs (may be major one's). These days, I am busy in other projects so i will add more mods whenever i will be free, as i need to learn from scratch! I cooked this rom for my personal use but thought i should share it, I am not promising anything but i will try my best to learn and add more mods in IOIO. I tested this twice on my phone and worked as intended, this may not work for you so please have backup ready to revert back.

1. n9208 (Malaysian / Taiwan)
2. n920C - Nfc does not work, i am working on the fix (thanks to @FdeKlerk)
If you want to test the rom on other variants, please flash kernel of your variant after flashing the Rom.
Important​
If you are facing problems with something using iOiO, do not expect i can fix it for sure. i am learning things i can or i will fail in fixing bugs, I need you guys to contribute and help each others. I am not responsible for anything that happens to your device, Flashing and using this rom is your own personal choice! Again, as this is my first rom, expect a lot of bugs and if you do not know what you are doing with your mobile or If you do not like this rom. Please use other any other rom. Please backup your EFS partition, data and device before going on, don't blame me, any other dev involved and rom. Simply i/we won't accept any blame.

i did not test all the features so some of them may not work as intended
How to Install​
WARNING: Before Flashing rom, Please unregister your fingerprints, backup your data including internal storage
1. Download IOIO Rom, modem and bootloader.
2. Reboot in download mod, uncheck Auto-reboot option in odin and then Flash bootloader in odin (via AP section) (if not already on MM) or simply flash whole firmware via odin
3. Reboot in download mod again, uncheck Auto-reboot option in odin and then Flash Modem in odin (via AP section) (if not already on MM) or simply flash whole firmware via odin
4. Reboot in download mod again and then Flash TWRP in odin (via AP section) (if TWRP is not already installed)
5. Now Reboot Into TWRP Recovery and Wipe all partitions including internal storage. Format data option in twrp aka Factory Reset (if not already on MM)
6. Copy all the downloaded file(s) to usb otg, or adb files to device. Then flash the iOiO rom,
7. If your screen is stuck on initial galaxy note 5 screen (not the bootanimation) then please download and flash kernel manually as for some users a bug is preventing aroma script to flash kernel, i will fix it in next update. Thanks to @mafijas for reporting the issue
8. Reboot your phone and enjoy
Reporting bugs​
Please do not report any issue without testing it on clean flash as most of the error occur because of dirty flash and developer can not cope up with these issues as they are individual dependent and developer can not reproduce it all the time. Thanks for your understanding, instead of solving these individual dependent issue, i can learn and implement new things in IOIO.

see in the build.prop there are few lines of code. Add in your build.prop and see if it makes any difference. I will be adding modified mixer gain files but in next release as this is a quick release as many users were interested in trying mm version as they did not get it from samsung and i did not work on many things.

Thanks a lot for your hard work with this ROM. As i also am a user of N9208 Taiwan variant, only a few option pertain for ROMs and Kernels and having you around we dont have to worry
Wanted to check with you that since I updated my N9208 yesterday to MM, how should I go about Rooting it and installing TWRP without the bootloop (unlike 5.1.1 where we needed to flash sboot.bin as well)
Also, i think you would need to rectify point #5 in "How to Install" of your Original Post to not wipe internal storage as it will also delete the iOiO ROM copied in the internal storage and not everyone will know how to adb push it (if you know what i mean )
The stock Kernel seem to have addressed the Deep Sleep issue for our MM N9208 i believe coz I have my Knox tripped and I am running stock kernel with no issues till now (not jinxing it )

thanks bro for your feedback and helping hand. Bro what i did to get root and twrp is
1. flashed twrp straight after installing rom
2. flashed supersu 2.71 version
and after that, i did not get any problem with both. About #5 lol yes you are right, i always use otg so thats why i believed everyone else will be using usb otg lol i will modify my post. Yes bro i am also using stock kernel and so far i did not even see any problem with stock kernel, bettery life is also better than custom kernel. I only use custom kernel only to get higher sounds but now i am thinking to stick to stock kernel.

Malaysian version have different bootloader. You need to wait for Samsung to release mm for Malaysian variant
