Hi Every one,
I have Huawei Honor 7 which is purchased from UAE and i am still using it in UAE not getting updates any more. Don't know why it is showing Build number PLK-L01C185B120, but on internet there are so many updaets available. But i want only OTA Updates. I haven't recieved Marshmallow updates yet. Please help me with this mater. Thanks

But how? It is not updating automatically and stuck at B120. When i check manually for updates, it says that "No Updates".
Is there any process to get that update.?

Maybe you had unrooted phone or you have phone from not offcial sources, or from very poor country. For example, i have OTA fro b120 to b130, but instalation is not succesful, because i had unlocked phone, and now it is not going back, maybe only after wipe of user data, but now it is not for me good.

no I dont think so I have the same device with b185B120 no update no official rom on internet

Maybe it is not released yet in your region. You can flash generic firmware from here.

Cannot go to 1.6, can come from 1.6.

You can flash from 1.6 --> 2.1 but NOT the other way around.
i m using htc one unbrand one in that im'nt having software update option tab in setting-About .for u r detail i have attached screenshot below

Go software information. Find "check for updates" something. Accept the update and wait your phone to download update. After download finished just reboot and after 5-10 min later your sense 6 update will be ready

Carriers like AT&T , Verizon etc locks bootloader if you didnt understand problably your device is unlocked version. Find last updated stock ROM and flash it.

Im stuck a bit with update. I have downloaded the 5.0.2 android for my phone from sammobile but unfortunately odin always fail with the firmwares.
The only thing what i can do is installing back my old firmware, Otherwise not even kies could recognise my phone.
Is there a reason why its now allowing me to update it?
My current android is G850FXXU2BNK3_G850FOJV2BNK5_TUN
And i have tried G850FXXU2COI3_G850FNEE2COI1_NEE (This is for nordic countried...5.0.2)
and also tried G850FXXU2COE4_G850FH3G2COE1_H3G(This is for GB and H3G service provider)
Unfortunately both failed at the end.
I have tried the usual troubleshooting which was described here, but i think i just cannot find the proper 5.0.2 android for my phone.
Is it important which country i choose?

Helo. Sorry im quite noobish with this particular topic. What does xef means? Do you mean have i tried with any French firmware?
No it is just a simple sm-g850f (Tun).
I have put back the tunesian (original) firmware and it works like a charm now again....but still no luck with 5.0.2

Hello i am using the Chinese variant of H7 PLK-ULOOC17B190. Its been almost two years and still no MM update. I cant root because i cannot unlock bootloader due to 14 days error on huawei site. Can someone please guide me how to update or if it is even possible to update. Thank you.

If there is no official update , u can't install or find a firmware which matches for our device . and the 14 days deadline , try to get an unlock code directly from vmall

Is there any way i can update then. Its awfully bad that Huawei has no support for their phones.
And btw this is the chinese variant. I don't get how to vmall may help me get the code.

Well i did recieve the B190 update. But nothing ever since. I mean it really is a great phone but i guess that is why you buy high priced from google ,samsung etc.

You may want to check CM13 for Honor 7.
Hi
Latest lollipop ROM for that model is B211.
You can download it from here:
http://emui.huawei.com/plugin/hwdownload/detail?modelId=171
There are two files there, one is B211 Stable ROM, and the other is Beta ROM 5.12.16.
You will have to update using three button method, and it will completely erase your data (BACKUP FIRST!)
After that, you can request update on HiCare app, or wait a few days, you will get B380 MM update, then probably B383.
You can also try Beta ROM, which works fine and it gets 2 updates per month. It's also on MM.

Today i download firmware LYA-LGRP2-OVS 10.0.0.154 for my LYA09. After update via hstool my phone is bricked. I got message "Your device has loaded a different operating system".
I tried rollback to 9.1 via hisuite and i have message " Your device is not supported for system recovery"
Any solution? Anyone know where is nearest huwawei service in UK or how send my mobile to service in UK. Many thanks for any help guys.

Bad news for you guys saying dumb things like don't install updates not for your phone. I just got the OTA update 10 180 on my phone and got the exact same result from the OTA update.

Making fun of members, and tossing insults are not only violations of Forum Rules, they're just inconsiderate. Even if the members made a simple mistake by flashing the wrong firmware for their device, it's uncalled for and does nothing to help the situation.
I can't imagine that anyone making fun of this member hasn't at one time or another made a simple mistake when flashing.
There are plenty of polite ways to remind other users to verify the firmware they're going to flash so they don't brink their device. If you're going to comment on someone bricking their device, please find one of those respectful ways to mention it.
Any further comments that violate the rules will be deleted.
Bottom line, if your comment isn't helpful or respectful, please don't post it.
