Change model number E1001 to E1003 - OnePlus X Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I got this strange problem. My phone is chinese variant, whose model name is E1001. But when I turn it off, my PC recognised it as E1003. I don't know if this is normal nor not. Anyone have this problem too ? Is there anyway for me to change it back to E1001 ?
This is in phone settings, model number is E1001:

May be you flashed OOS over H2OS.

There's probably very little to nothing different between the Chinese variant and the rest except for the software itself. It would be more taxing on a small company like Oneplus to be flashing separate firmware when there's no hardware differences.

@ symbols instead of carrier name

I recently got a new SIM from Orange to enable nfc QuickTap contactless payments, and everything went fine, all working OK.
However I did notice that my carrier now said Orange again instead of the new EE which had shown recently under the old SIM. I then uninstalled some apps and rebooted the phone, and ever since then my carrier name has been replaced with loads of @ symbols!

Sorry, wrong pic, try this one:
I called Orange, they re-sent carrier settings, didn't help. I also noticed at boot up, on the lock screen it says "Orange", but then quickly changes to "@@@@@@@@@@@"

[HELP] LG V10 h90120j 6.0 No Sound

Like the title says my phone has no sound.
I bought it from eBay. The guy said it was his wife's phone and it would keep rebooting and apps were crashing. Since she was due for a upgrade she just got a SGS7.
I got the phone working perfectly exempt there is no sound and the mic also is not working.
I've tried flashing the h90120j.kdz using LGUP. That worked without issue.
Then I tried rooting it with the .tot file but I keep getting this error at 9%.
See pics.
I was hoping if I could root the phone and flash a new ROM the sound might work.

Hello. My phone is having the same problem. Please how were you able to fix this fault

No emojis showing up at all.

Hello, so I had an issue with my phone (OnePlus 6) where it'd be stuck on fastboot loop so I decided to flash the entire rom through fastboot with this :
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-6/how-to/rom-stock-fastboot-roms-oneplus-6-t3796665
It all went perfectly fine, but when I started my phone and after using it for a while I realized it had no emojis. Okay, let me rephrase, there are emojis from Gboard etc but very few of them, if I type in "emoji" in google it's supposed to show many websites with the use of emojis except for me all I see is a whole festival of boxes with a cross on them.
I'm going to be showing you on attached pictures what it looks like from my oneplus 6 and how it looks like from my other huawei phone, first a pic from the huawei device then from my oneplus device.

I have no idea how to fix it and I've seen no one else with the same exact issue as me, if you have an idea on how it could be fixed then please help me .
@dversity7
Check if /system/fonts/NotoColorEmoji.ttf exists and is readable

You have erased/deleted your Boot partition. No need to worry tho. You will need to flash the stock rom or boot image using a computer. There are many tutorials out there for that.
Just like this one :
P.S. the device is different but the brand and problem are same, so you should have no problem.
