Is this battery pack from BB any good? - Samsung Galaxy S7 Accessories

I saw this on sale on the Best Buy website. None of the battery packs on their website say if they offer quick charge 2.0 or 3.0 or not. This one says quick charge on the package.
Is Amazon the only place that sells quickcharge 3.0?
Im new so it won't let me post a link but it's the REV - Portable Charger - Gray if you search best buy's website.

Wall Charger Recommendations

Just realized I left my wall charger at school
Got a Samsung Rugby charger that's working but I have a feeling it's not charging as fast as it could.
Any recommendations for oem / oem quality chargers on Amazon or eBay . . . would prefer the separable usb cable.
Thanks peeps!!
I personally like the HTC ones. Perfect size and provides plenty of amps. The Apple one works well...but they cost like $40 brand-new.
From what I heard, the Blackberry ones aren't bad either.
Thanks for the reply. Any links to ebay or amazon for ones that will work with the note?

Replacement Wall Charger

I've kept up with all the research and debate on the best charger/cable combinations for the galaxy note 3 and i'm happy with the charging results from the charger that comes with the note 3, but I need an additional charger. The best I can gather from others is that some are able to use their tablet chargers as well as some miscellaneous other chargers with mixed results to get the faster charging. I've also noticed that almost every non-OEM "fast charger" sold is marketed and designed for the ipod/ipad/iphone, which decreases the power for non-Apple devices.
Does anybody have a direct link or a suggestion for an affordable stand-alone charger that I can purchase for the Note 3? The OEM charger runs $25+ on sale and i'm hoping to find something less expensive.

Your best bet is just to shop around on Amazon, as there are tons of viable options available there that will leave you more than satisfied with your purchase. I would sit here and type out answers to all your question(s), but this has been covered before. Actually, I participated in a thread very similar to this one and since it's nearing 3:00am and I'm exhausted, I'll just point you in that direction instead. :good: Anyway, here's the link to the thread from last month, and here is MY post in that thread based on products that I purchased and am still using on a daily basis.
To sum it all up in a quick "Cliff Notes" form, I bought the AmazonBasics 2.1 amp charger from Amazon and it performs exactly the same as the OEM Samsung wall charger, except it's only a fraction of the cost of the OEM Samsung. You can pick one of the AmazonBasics 2.1 amp chargers for $8.99 here ------> AmazonBasics Wall Charger with USB Outlet (2.1 Amp Output) I hope this helps you a little bit in finding what ya need! :good::good:
Looking for one too.
I have the Hong Kong model and it comes with the UK plug.
Big, ugly and don't need/want it if I am not in UK.
It is removeable (the UK part) so there should be a EU, USA etc pins that will fit it but don't know where.

I'll try this out. I read the thread you reference, but then somebody posted a review on amazon that said they still ended up with slow charging on the Amazon Basic unit, so I got cold feet. I'll just give it a go. Thanks.

Yeah, as inexpensive as the AmazonBasics charger I referenced for you is, you should just try it out for yourself. As many people that have bought this charger and have had a great experience with it, in my opinion it's well worth at least trying it for yourself. If for some crazy reason you happen to get a "lemon," you're only out less than $10, so not too big of a deal really. I highly doubt that's gonna happen though lol. I use mine every single day. I actually split time between the OEM charger and the AmazonBasics 2.1amp charger, as I have two chargers(1 OEM and 1 AmazonBasics 2.1amp) at home and another charger(At work I use a second AmazonBasics 2.1amp charger that I purchased from Amazon after seeing how well the first one I bought compared to the OEM Samsung charger that came with the phone.) at work. :good:

Just an update... I bought the Amazon Basics charger from your link and it works great. Thanks for the heads up.

[Q] Suggestion for mobile battery?

Hey everyone, been looking for a decent mobile battery that supports Quick Charge 2.0. The Qualcomm site lists only a single certified battery pack, the Ape Technologies MP5200Q (ape-battery.com/ljz/EnProductShow.asp?ID=221) which is only 5200 mAh and no where to be found on Amazon. The battery pack I'm thinking about picking up is the Aukey Quick Charge 2.0 10000mAh battery pack available at amazon.ca/Aukey-10000mAh-Portable-External-Supported/dp/B00S0OHKII/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top, which claims to support it while details about the charger does not specify if it's using a certified controller while emails with Qualcomm asking if this item is certified have gone unanswered.
Currently have a couple 10,000 mAh battery packs which are okay for charging my daughter's Nexus 5, it does a poor job at charging my Nexus 6 and I want to upgrade.
Searching XDA, found people asking for reviews of the Aukey battery pack or mentioning they want to buy one but at the time of posting it was not in stock at Amazon. There is one review on the Amazon site which gave the battery pack 2/5, which definitely sounds like a true review and not a paid advertisement, for not an ideal amount of charging power.
Is there anyone with any suggestions of their own, or maybe experience with this battery pack compared to other 10,000 mAh packs, before I jump on this one?
Thanks in advanced!

Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0+ Chargers?

Are any of these on the market? I can't find them for the life of me.
Same here. Been checking amazon every other day, can't find squat for QC 4. Remember the 4+ is the safety features on the phone, don't believe there will be "4+ chargers".
I can only find QC3 in chargers or battery banks.
I did find Razer chargers for 25$ on amazon... Which is decent, I was afraid they might charge like 40 bucks.
Only one I have found is the one razer sells for 39.99
Sent from my Phone using Tapatalk
Yeah I was looking for Ravpower/Anker/Aukey ones however they dont have anything QC4+ yet. Not that i bought the power bank for the phone as ive yet to go low enough on the battery during a working day where i have had to plug the phone in for a charge. 45mins or podcast/music 30mins lunch of netflix and 45mins at the end of the day for podcasts/music and sending the odd email or message during the day battery hasnt took a hit for needing anything to carry around.
Question
I would need a 2nd charger to keep in my bag and it raises the question of does QC4+ require a certain USB cable or will any longer USBC work fine as i was going to use the supplied one for out and about as its 1m and buy a larger Nation Union one like 10m for my room but didnt want to stress a cable or blow the phone or charger.
I found this link however most brands have only QC3 - https://www.ravpower.com/qc.html
00178273 Hama "Qualcomm® Quick Charge™ 4+" Charger, maybe this one is Q.C. 4 charger but for selected country
As far as I know Razer Phone 2 is the only phone that ships with a QC 4.0 charger and it probably is the only one available right now. It is available for $24.99 in the US at Razer.
Found one at Amazon.com for $15.99. Though, it isn't of any reputed brand, the reviews are good. Also it ships to India for around $29.
I could find a QC 4.0 car charger on AliExpress with both USB A and C ports. Not sure how genuine their claim is. Price $7.33.
Apart from that there are makers of QC 4.0 chargers but they don't specify how to buy them.
1. Portway Technologies
2. Everwin
Note: I have noticed that these chargers require a USB Type C to Type C cable.

Where to get Super Charge charger?

Of course my phone came with an original super charger 40W. I was also lucky and got a free fast wireless charging pad as an early bird package. Sadly ther was no additional charger in the package of the wireless charging package.
Does anyone know if the fast wireless charging pad is charging at fast speed with any other charger than the original super charger 40W. I tried with different chargers from different brands but Ican only get the normal speed. The only way for me to get fast wireless charging was when using the original supercharger 40W.
So my quwstion is where can I get another original supercharger 40W or is a Huawei Supercharger 22.5W also enough to fast wireless charge?
https://www.belkin.com/us/p/P-F7U010/
Wonder if that would work? I've been wanting to get a USB-C charger for my Dell XPS 13 laptop anyway so might just take the plunge and try this. Would be great it if charges my laptop as well as supercharge the Mate 20 Pro. Just wish they came in black. Hate white cables that get so grubby. Anyway, will test it out and post back.
I would also like to know.
Some people said getting the woreless charger is a better option, as it also includes the 40W charger in the box.
But I cannot find neither the 40W charger by itself, or the Huawei wireless charger for sale.
Anyone?
Huawei has been very vague about the Mate 20 Pro's Qi support. It just states "15W with Huawei's Supercharge tech, and you can use Qi chargers as well". But no words about the wattages here. I tried a wireless charger which was supposedly supporting Qi at 15W, but in fact it didn't charge my phone at full speed, it was MUCH slower. My guess is that you only get 15W wireless charging with Huawei's own charger, as for Qi compatibility it just seems to go up to 10W if not even less. Something similar to USB-PD support: yeah, it works and it gives a decent speed advantage, but for full speed charging you have to stick with the proprietary solution.

Guess it depends from countries. In Switzerland, both items are widely available since about 2-3 weeks, they were pretty much impossible to find before. The 40W car charger is showing up in some online stores during these days.
I agree the wireless pad is the better buying option: the charger itself doesn't cost much less than the pad+charger bundle.

I'll answer my own question - got this answer from Huawei support on where to buy a wall supercharger for the US:
"We kindly inform you that the Mate 20 Pro was not released for the US market; for this reason, we cannot directly recommend any charger specifically for your phone because we do not have it available for this region.
However, since your Mate 20 Pro supports up to 10 V / 4 A super-fast charging and is compatible with 4.5 V/5 A or 5 V/4.5 A super-fast charging, and 9 V/2 A fast charging, any supercharge with this characteristics will work fine with your device.
We recommend you to check the following product; it is original from our company and it will provide an appropriate charge for your phone: https://www.amazon.com/Huawei-4-5V5A-SuperCharge-Adapter-USB-C/dp/B06WWPBM1L"
You can try to get one from China. The China market chargers are using the layout/ pins as used in US.

You can try Aliexpress
For instance:
https://m.aliexpress.com/item/32963...id=512amp-dQKEsllYjNvTp8Xe3RW5tw1547077929184
Btw, I do not know this seller and never bought from them.
I got mine as part of an accessories bundle from Funky Huawei which probably wasn't the cheapest way to go but I knew I was getting authentic products and it arrived in a week and a half. If I remember correctly it was shipped from Taiwan so the shipping time was quicker than I expected.
The bundle (if they still have it) allows you to choose a memory card (which is hard to find in the US) and 2 other accessories . I got a 40W wall charger and the 40W car charger.
When shopping on Ali Express I've mostly had good experiences but I've heard horror stories from people who were less fortunate.
