To me, I always like to innovate, that is why there are so many kernels with the same, offering just the same and do not give more, I decided to take a leap to something that many forget, that is, optimization, therefore, on this occasion, I bet for something different, orienting more performance, in this version, do not expect major changes or a double tap to wake, but expect outstanding performance, note that has a lot of optimizations in every part of its code for example, the -fast flag-math, ghraphite, cortex a7, and the main boom, let's not old compilers such as Linaro 4.9, we are in the new, why not compile child with ubertTC 4.9 or earlier versions, this ubertc version is compiled with 6.0 (gcc 6.0)

This is purely awesome. However, you didn't mentioned on which Android version this Kernel should be used.
I'll clone your sources for CM (your permission is absolutely required in this case). Even though I have no notable progress with CM (because the whole Mali userspace binaries is incompatible with CM's surfaceflinger and gralloc), I would seriously appreciate if you could help us in developing it.

You aren't alone. I am facing the same bug. Baseband isn't recognized which leads to loss of IMEI hence no cellular connection. The kernel is in fact compatible with P8 Lite, 4C, 4X and GPlay Mini.

Well that dude did an awesome job but he didn't made them compatible with all of those devices.
All the devices which I mentioned are "unified". With that I mean they share the same board (HiSilicon Kirin 620), same hardware components and etc. If you have root, take a look at /etc/ in your root partition. You'll find some files named Alice (P8 Lite), Cherry (GPlay Mini, 4C and 4X), Carrera, PLK (Honor 6) and if you take a look in /lib/ and /lib64/ you'll even find some NFC drivers (our device doesn't has NFC but the P8 Lite does have).
I have even flashed P8 Lite's boot.img on my 4C (just out of curiosity). Nothing bad happened and my device ran without any bugs.
The baseband bug might be because some modules aren't packed into the kernel or maybe the toolchain or whatever.

we are starting, the bottom line here is that the device works properly, likewise, the goal is cyanogenmod, the kernel, if everything works well, as the camera, wifi, etc, then the rest is not so important but going slow, that we go far.

I flashed it and it didn't boot . I am running CAM-L21C636B180 with EMUI 4.1.3 on my G-Play Mini. This is most likely because the kernel for this firmware was made for the Y6 II. (The Y6 II or 5A is also part of the unified devices )

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 8 (oreo), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

Lambda Kernel was my development start point in the LG G2 glorious period, now you're looking at a new "horizon of possibility" for the LeEco device family. This Kernel has been written from scratch since January 2017, resulting in a small, polished and minimal core that's migratable across Kernel revisions.
It follows the flash n' go principle, everything packed in the Kernel is already tweaked and ready to be used as a daily driver for everyone.
The downloads, contributors and source code are at the bottom of this post, it is recommended to read everything before flashing.
DEVEL: My own testing builds for certain features and tests. They aren't normally shared, although sometimes I publish them. If you see one of them, don't forget they are recommended for advanced users/developers only because of their potential changes that must be debugged before publishing a WEEKLY version.
WEEKLY: They are closer to the proper release version but still can have some errors or bugs to be reported and tested, they should be generally stable.
SNAPSHOT: That's the version for the ones that don't want their devices to be lab rats for new features and staging changes. I don't know whether or not to say something is stable enough to be a SNAPSHOT but if you see one it's because it's been sometime running well.
Pretty straightforward once you get used to it, isn't it?
A general panorama for Lambda Kernel, always matching the latest release, in this case the WEEKLY from 09-15-2018.
HOT ↠ Source-code changes for Lambda Kernel.

Cod. 000:
State: Placebo!
Priority: Urgent.
Overview: The thread is under construction here as well.
Read this twice before flashing/posting!
Q. How to install this Kernel?
A. Download the version you'd like to use and flash using a custom recovery like TWRP.
Q. What ROMs does this Kernel support?
A. It should support all versions of Android 8.1, being it CAF based.
Q. Does this Kernel support Treble ROMs or GSIs?
A. No, at the moment the /vendor mount point is not present and thus it's not supported.
Click the Downloads button above to go straight to Github releases page, download and flash it in recovery.

Thanks, I'd like to update the thread on what the new version of today has but I'll wait a bit, it's just a classic (CAF) Kernel for EUI with patched battery phandle and faster charging compared to stock but still safe, same constants just a little faster due to updates and fixes I made in charger code.
Hope I can update this and the Pro3 thread as soon as possible with the new stuff.
@GalaticStryder highly appreciated that you chose to work on this device, really looking forward for this kernel to expand its compatibility to all roms, God speed!!

Backup your boot partition and flash it over, I've only tested it on 26S but on Pro3 my Kernel ran on all versions I tested. Make sure you're not encrypted otherwise it won't flash (Indian 16S for example), to get rid of encryption you'd flash the latest Chinese version or one that is based on it.
My leeco set has this strange color calibration issue-its very warm and yellowish- due to which I don't use stock roms. I also am able to use only those custom ROMs which have color calibration or kcal built in. Is it possible to implement kcal support in your kernel? Thanks a lot.

Same for me. But most people keep saying I am wrong. Not kcal, default color calibration in kernel should be changed, because it's invalid.

Could you dump what type of panel you have got and variant? Mine seems to be fine (truly) but I see the panel calibration has a few faults on the others from stock itself, and both open sourced codes for Max2 and Pro3 are the same regarding the panel, no updates.
Need to boot the stock Kernel again and dump all I can from Kernel logs or... reverse engineering.
If it is not excuse to ask, will be there any updates for Lambda Kernel for LG G2 ever?

Truly I guess. Screenshot:
I'm on Lineage 15.1 currently. To get it white I need to set LiveDisplay 9700K. Default color calibration looks terribly wrong.
Btw is your kernel suitable for Lineage 15.1? Or it''s for EUI only.
BTW, works perfectly on Le Max 2 Small eUI V18.
My screen seems yellowish cuz I turned on Reader Mode.
If turned off, my screen is white enough
Hey thank you so much for your kernel. I can't use EUI ROMs because when quick charge is on it never charges more than 1000mH.. But on custom ROMs I can charge my phone even with 4000mH. It's a life saver sometimes.. Does your kernel provide this feature for the EUI @GalaticStryder?
What is the battery life with this kernel?

Installation instructions:
1. Make sure you have TWRP installed on your device to be able to flash the rom.
2. Download the latest build from the link above and copy it to a place where you can find it later.
3. Optionally download GApps for using the Play Store and other Google related services from here: https://opengapps.org. Choose ARM as architecture and 8.1 as the OS version. The size of the GApps package is upon to you how much apps you want to have preinstalled. Copy this zip aswell to a place where you can find it easy later. If you download it with Chrome or with the Google Drive App it should be by default in the Download folder.
4. Turn your phone off and press Volume UP + Home Button + Power button at the same time until the splash screen appears. Then your device should boot into the recovery. There you wipe following partitions: Data, System, Cache, Dalvik if this is your first install. All of your installed applications get lost by this. Your photos, videos etc. won't get deleted if you haven't ticked the box for internal storage. As the kernel also supports F2FS i would change the filesystem for the cache partition from ext4 to f2fs for a better system performance. Now go to the main TWRP menu, click on install and go to the place where you have placed your zips and first select the rom and then click on the left button if you have downloaded the optional GApps package to add another zip to the queue. Now swipe the slider at the bottom to install and reboot the phone to the system. The first boot can take a while and after booting you could experience some lags because of the GApps initialization but they should disappear after some time.
5. Now you have successfully installed the rom and you're ready to use ResurrectionRemix on your device. Congratulations!
Bugs:
- VoLTE (isn't working on samsung devices and won't work anytime in the future too)
- Same as LineageOS 15.1

4-core processor or 8-core processor?
If 8 core enabled, can we get 4 core enabled version?
Also thank you all of you guys for still developing for A310F users. I wish i can donate for you guys but PayPal is not avalaible in our country.

Quad Core Kernel. I won't publish any of my new roms with Octa Core Kernel's because of the high battery drain.
You don't need to donate me anything. I don't even have set up PayPal .

And i dont like Octa Core too. Phone overheats and battery drain is too much like you said.
Keep up that great work !
Does sound work in all apps? I've used three other 8.0 roms and they all recorded mic very quietly in apps like Snap and Insta.

As I see this rom audio recording is working fine right? I had another issue with L15.1 which was that I couldn't get faceunlock to work at all, it didn't even show up in the setings. It wasn't the gapps cause I use those same gapps on extendedAOSP and it worked. Also at some point the mic stopped working, etheir for calls nor audio recording. I'm on 14.1 now but it doesn't play flac natively and the music player I use doesn't support flac by itself, all the rest is great en 14.1. So, if anyone is kind enough to advice me about this ROM that'd be great, I'm getting a little tired of flashing, mostly because I need the phone for work during the day and the microphone dying is not cool XD Thanks in advance.

Most audio issues are fixed in the latest version.
RR should be as stable as my Lineage OS builds as it is based on my trees. Only current issue is buggy MTP but this will be mostly solved in our kernel tree soon.
RR-Pie-v.7.0.1 is coming soon
Hi,
(This is my first post on xda, so I'm not sure I'm doing it right. Tell me if I should do it differently so I learn)
I like this rom, and have used it in various versions of several devices, so I'm happy to see it is developed for this device too.
However, when i try to flash it to my SM-A310F, I get the error that this rom is for a3xelte, while my device is (blank space) .
I use TWRP v. 3.0.2.1 and have flashed the revolution OS rom with success. This rom works ok, but I just miss some the customizations and functionalities in RR.
-And also the lack of samsung software, which I use none of and just disable.
I general, I can install roms which are based on the stock samsung rom in some way or another (like the revolution OS), but not roms like RR, dotOS or lineages.
From Software settings (running revolution OS):
Baseband: A310FXXU2BPG6
Kernel version: 3.10.105-NOUGAT-ALX-0.0.2
So, do any of you clever people have a good idea why my SM-A310F is not considered worthy for RR? Is there a way to flash it anyway, or is this a hardware issue of some sort?
And thanks!

You need to update TWRP. Here you find the latest official build: https://eu.dl.twrp.me/a3xelte
And also you could do a baseband update. Flash the newest firmware for your country via ODIN and install TWRP and RR after that again.
I recommend you to use RR 7 (Android 9) instead of this. I haven't published a build since a long while.
Thanks so much for the very quick response! I will give both a try starting with updating twrp. I'm not sure where to look for the baseband update, but I will try to find it if twrp update does not work.

You can use the tool samfirm (google it) or updato.com
Baseband updates can improve signal strength/battery life. But it is not necessary.
Thanks again, I really appreciate your help.
I'd love to try RR7, but I can't find the download link in the relevant thread (it says removed by OP) or in the RR homepage. Therefore I chose this version instead. Is RR7 available somewhere else.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 8.1 (OREO), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
Code:
/*
* Your warranty is now void.

* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
*/
Whats Not Working:
* No Music Key Function
* VoLTE is not working
* HDR in camera is not working
* Selinux is Permissive, will fix it after few builds by collecting logs and fixing denials
Workarounds:
* Use Jio4GVoice for VoLTE calling ( Assuming that you are on jio network otherwise for calls it'll automatically change to 2G/3G )
* Use open Camera for HDR
Instructions :
- Download the latest build, force encrypt disabler , treble TWRP, repartition zip and gapps
- Reboot to recovery
- Flash TWRP zip and reboot to recovery again
- Flash the repartition zip and reboot to recovery again
- Wipe System and Vendor
- Flash the latest build
- Make sure system and vendor are not mounted, go to mount section in twrp and if either or both of them are ticked, untick them
- Flash force encrypt disabler (Optional)(Only use it if you want to access the internal storage through TWRP and also for not having any issues when flashing magisk modules)
- Again reboot to recovery select Wipe-> format data ( If you already did this once ignore it, but if you flashed stock rom again do it) and wipe cache and dalvik cache
- Flash Gapps (Optional)(Atleast in theory:silly
- Reboot
Downloads :

Reporting Bugs
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops and /sys/fs/pstore/dmesg-ramoops-0. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless). Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

Congratulations bro! I appreciate your work. I can't believe that we get a stable ROM with major bugs fixed one by one. ND Making rom for mtk soc is not a easy task. You are working since 1 year for this Rom. Tysm for giving your precious time for this device. Maybe in future some devs will be inspired by your work and users get support for mtk like snapdragon.

Sure actually I fixed the bugs, will give a patch fix for fixing bugs as I'm busy with treble for k8 note
Hi,
I just wanted to shout out that your work makes a difference. I was in the market for a privacy-friendly, daily driver phone with decent specs and good LineageOS support. I preferred a Mediatek because Qualcomm's iZat location service / indoor positioning service transmits your position to Qualcomm, possibly at the firmware level where it is hard to disable. Yours is the only complete LineageOS for any good Mediatek phone.
However, I live in an overcrowded 2G/3G cell and therefore need VoLTE. At the time, I didn't yet see your comment about fixing VoLTE. I've repeatedly had issues with VoLTE working in India but not in my country. Then somebody confirmed that the Pocophone LineageOS can do VoLTE where I live. I ended up buying that, but it really was a close call.
Thank you for your work.

everything is working... i'm using this rom since release and i finally found my daily driver rom...
maybe you will face some lags on apps but can be easily fixed by adding some props to build.prop (i'll do on next build)
About Official... LineageOS Requeriments are very strict and i'm not a experienced developer (i'm just learning) so i can't make this official
So , i'll provide monthly updates as long as i have server to build it.
Long Live LineageOS...
Cant wait to use it as a daily driver..
@alonsoj636 this is awesome!
many of us have been waiting for this for so long! a true ROM diamond!
..and I'm gonna look into it soon, I need to have a few days off to tinker around with it.
I wonder if it's still possible with haystack needle to get signature spoofing working and with it microG.
also, i guess, after flashing FW 13.x there is no way back to 12.x and lower due to anti-rollback protections.. so it's a one-way ticket to flash.

About anti - rollback you can downgrade MIUI but you should ALWAYS choose the correct variant that the phone came with (Global , India , Indonesia , EEA , etc) and avoid locking the bootloader

Beggars can't be choosers and all of that, and I know LineageOS requirements are strict, but it doesn't really spark much confidence.
Let me rephrase that: what is missing from the ROM becoming official?
Hey, i have redmi note 10 pro, and I would love to use lineage 19 on my device. As redmi note 10 and 10 pro are so similar, can please tell if you faced issues while porting it, or was the process straight forward? ( I have never ported a rom before and have little knowledge).
Thank you!

i already answered you... everything is working and this ROM is stable enough to be official. But since I don't meet the requirements and I don't have much time to maintain it it will not be possible from my side... Maybe another developer can take Official LineageOS but meanwhile , i will maintain Unofficial.

device tree + common device tree + kernel tree + vendor tree + common vendor tree... i suggest to ask in your device community because this is a off-topic conversation

i already answered you... everything is working and this ROM is stable enough to be official. But since I don't meet the requirements and I don't have much time to maintain it it will not be possible from my side... Maybe another developer can take Official LineageOS but meanwhile , i will maintain Unofficial.

time : i don't have enough time to take care of lineage os ... i just can do builds when i get time.
interest : i'm not currently interested on submitting any ROM to Official Status (reason : i don't care about official rules)
