LTE - Huawei Ascend Mate 2

Isnt this phone suppose to have LTE? I have an unlocked MT2 L03 AT&T i get H+ on CM13 and on stock 4g? Am i missing something. I have apn settings on ATT phone and have tried PTA its the same not LTE. Also i noticed on stock rom when i power down my phone or reboot it hangs, But on all custom roms it reboots.hot reboots, and shutsdown just fine

I have the same issue. Want to know something even more strange?...I have an ATT go phone sim and a Cricket sim, and I get better reception with cricket than I do with he ATT sim, even though they're both on the same network. But I saw LTE on my phone for a split second with the ATT sim and it went away and hasn't come back.

Here are my ATT Mate 2 apn settings i have much history with this and att in fact they paid out over it.. I had exact issue I had the same issue with it and 4 lines on my plan for 2 years thats another story but this is what mine are and taken from my lg flex picture inn gdrive of all places.

I don't have that option in the APN settings. I do, however, have data roaming enabled in network settings.

network mode is back button 1 time it is in mobile network settings
---------- Post added at 06:21 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:17 PM ----------
you can always add a new apn input the settings save but Network Mode is in Mobile Network Setttings 2 above access point names 1 below data roaming on mine usa mt2l03 4.3 is Network mode I can choose 3g 4g lte/wcdma bye default it came out of box on only 4g
settings bar to save is when you are finished entering the apn info hit back button then you'll se it on top right where your ATT Phone has green bubble

My AT&T atrix can't get edge on Tmobile

I unlocked and rooted my Atrix I changed the apn to t mobile I get the E but the atrix still trys to access At&T on the browser and market what am I missing???
Mine did this same thing with my carrier in Japan, I could call and text and I would get H+ icon but no data. I sent mine back for a replacement.
Did you activate the phone on AT&T before unlocking and changing SIM?
I am facing the similar problem too. I use Atrix with Simple Mobile number. Mine catches E but doesn't load anything. Always ended up showing connection error. Is it a hardware problem?
Sounds like apn settings are incorrect.

I don't know what your apn settings should be, just sounds like that is the source of your problem.
Edit...look at some of these:
http://forum.androidspin.com/showthread.php/2615-SETTINGS-T-Mobile-APN-Settings
that post is where I got the setting to try to change to when it had a problem. later I found out that it's the same setting as the default though the username and password is unknown since it's a star.

Here is an interesting development... I flashed CyanogenMod 10 on my Sony Xperia arc S phone and the ROM downloaded some settings by itself. There are 3 APNs that comes with this ROM.
1. ATT
2. ATT LTE
3. StraightTalk ATT
StraightTalk was picked by default. I was about to delete them all and enter the settings from here but then I received a text message from a friend... Lo and behold, it was a MMS message with a pic attached and already downloaded. I saw that my WiFi was on, so I turned off the WiFi and asked my friend to send me more pics... They all arrived including a video snippet.... Then I sent one, a larger pic, and he received it. All amazed I fired up the CM10's browser and went to www.testmy.net Did a smarttest and my download was 3.4 Mbps and upload was 577 Kbps... In Phoenix, AZ...
Here are the settings that came with CM10 ...

That's the settings I use for straight talk, works great. I get 4g just about everywhere here in pa. Mms works great too. I've had straight talk for a year and a half on at&t. Can't complain. If you use alot of cell data they will throttle you slow, but I'm usually close to wifi. I've heard 2GB then they slow you down.

I'm getting 1.3Mbps down and 657 Kbps up. Pretty happy with it.
To the last poster, I thought Straight Talk didn't offer LTE coverage?! If it did, it'd be an even more amazing deal than I had thought it was!
My data works fine. Got like 6mbps this morn but my MMS wont send for ****. Using an Xperia Ion
Pantech Pocket ATT - Straight Talk MMS Settings
The Pantech Pocket needs to have the Straight Talk APN data loaded to TWO locations.
Both Phone APN and Wap APN need to be setup with the Straight Talk APN settings.
Straight Talk makes it sound like you only need to enter the information in one location.
You need to enter the information in Phone APN and Wap APN, if you want MMS to work!
APN name: Straight Talk
APN: att.mvno
Proxy: Straight Talk value
Port: 80
MMSC: Straight Talk value
MMS Proxy: 66.209.11.33
MMS Port: 80
My Pantech Pocket is running flawlessly on Straight Talk now. MMS is 100% functional. The pictures are getting through. I'm getting 5Mbps download speed and 1Mbps upload speed.
My Pantech burst uses only one apn. On gingerbread and ice cream sandwich. I don't run proxy but the rest of the settings I put in and works good. Seems faster tried it. 40kbps proxy vs 4000kbps no proxy. Not sure why. Any ideas?

HOLY SH!T!!!
I just put in the settings Bushmaster78FS posted and I am now on TRUE 4G with ST. 6Mbps!!! ITS FASTER THAN MY WORKS WIFI BY 3X!!!
AMAZING!!! THANKS BUSHMASTER!
Nice
Thanks for the settings you posted Bushmaster.
The settings provided are the first ones I have used and successfully got both data and mms working with only one APN.
Using Samsung Galaxy S III.
1. My phone is unocked and compatible on both AT&T networks and T-Mobile right now i am using an blue AT&T sim and i am thinking to make the move to T-Mobile network. Do you think i can use the same AT&T compatible sim and just change the APN setting to T-Mobile and have it work on the T-Mobile network or so i have to buy a sim?
2. I heard that you can get a free sim by buying a free phone and just using it on your phone but other people say that those sims are lock to those phones. Which is true?
3. I see that Straight talk sells cheap GSM phones and my GF has her phone on T-Mobile so can i buy one of the ST phones and swap it to use on T-Mobile or are the locked and can they be unlocked?
I just switched from the default straight talk apn to the ones bushmaster posted. I went from 1 mbps to 4.8 on a Nexus 4.

anyone try these settings on S2 i9100 and see speed gains?
APN set, no data.
Hey gang, I've looked far-and-wide and haven't been able to locate a solution so, I throw myself on y'all's mercy and ask if anyone has a clue why I can't receive wireless data on my SGT AT&T GT-P1000.
I received my AT&T Straight Talk SIM the other day and porting the phone over was no issue. However, when I set up the APN I did not immediately reboot the phone due to some confusion about when the service actually transferred. Could this have affected my registration on the ST wireless network?
I've entered the APN settings precisely but, alas, still cannot connect to the wireless data. I really want to move over to ST, not only will it save me $30 a month whilst adding an "unlimited" data plan but, best of all, I'll get to tell AT&T to go pound sand.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
did you add in the " http://"?
Does anybody now any way to unthrotte. Since we all now that ST throttle after 5gb. I called to ST customers service, they told me that unlimited data is only for navigation.

Sorry to necro this, but when I add an APN and then save it, it goes back to apn list but is not there as an option. I've unlocked and can make calls/text but no data at all. I am unrooted, is there something I'm missing or do I need root to edit apn? Thanks a ton.

You should have a radio button to the right of each apn config. Tap on the button for the one you want.
If that does not work try toggling "Airplane Mode".
If that does not work, you have the wrong apn settings. You will need to contact your cellular provider and ask them for the correct Android APN settings.
Good luck.

Maybe you guys can help me? My HTC One is only getting EDGE.
My HTC One that is being used with MetroPCS' BYOD plan is only getting EDGE, and not 3g, 4g, or even LTE. The phone was being used with Verizon Wireless before I got it. Everything works fine, but my data speed is super slow (EDGE 0.01 download and 0.01 upload). When I check the APN settings, it still says Verizon Wireless Internet. The people at my local MetroPCS store were no help since they don't know anything about APN settings. Thanks.

Three 4G not working?

I have the Xperia Z2 on Three UK and I bought it unlocked. 3G works fine but 4G doesn't, even when LTE only is selected and my friends on Three have full 4G signal it shows no service. 4G used to work on O2. My APN settings are correct. Any ideas?
LTE on 3 UK works fine for me, are you 100% sure you have 4G signal in your area with three? Have a check with this tool. Have you checked the "Use only 3G networks" option in mobile network settings?
Also, check your APN settings with my ones what I'll post.

It's working now I think you have to wait a few days after starting a new contract before 4g is activated.
