I want to build marshmallow based custom rom for my device S Duos 3 SM-G316HU....I do not how to start help me please...I am having little programming skills
I suggest you firstly build marshmallow using this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/chef-central/android/guide-android-rom-development-t2814763
This will act as the base rom
If you already have a base rom in mind, then don't build one.
Secondly, to edit the rom according to your liking use this guide:

Hi guys,
I am completely new to the idea of creating a custom Android ROM. I have found a great tutorial on how to design your own Touchwiz ROM, however, I cannot find a Stock Rooted Deodexed ROM that I can use as a base for the LeTV X500/1S. If anyone has one or could point me in the right direction, I would really appreciate it.

Okay So Carbon Rom 7.1.1 Source is available,i was wondering if Any dev can build it,it was one the best roms in kikat days,Thanks in advance.
PS:- please don't post like if you want a rom build it by yourself, personally i don't have much knowledge and resources to build a custom rom & it's a sincere request if some dev can build,it would be good for Communtiy,Peace!

If I were you, I would start in the Moto Z forum which already has lots of custom kernels and ROMs. Those devs can help you, I'm sure.

hello all. PLEASE i need some guide here to port a custom rom for my hisense I630U device which is MSM8916 powered and recently i managed to install TWRP recovery on it. currently its running on android 4.4.4 (kernel 3.10.28) . this current stock rom is not good.so i want to change the ROM with a lightweight kitkat AOSP based ROM. . i have some basic knowledge about custom rom flashing. please, guide me through what should i do to perfectly port another rom for my device. thanks in advance !
