Sorry I know there are probably a million threads on this but, i couldnt really find a simple one..
I don't really want to install a new UI or rom or w.e because im fine with the classic view.. What i really want is just to root the tablet and get android market so i can get the youtube app, skype ect..
What is the newest and best root for the g tablet and i kind of need step by step instructions, if there is a thread on this that is very easy just give link to that also! thanks
Btw. When you root a phone or tablet.. what really changes about it, before installing a new operating system or anything
A simple search will deliver the answer you are seeking
Are there any who could help me over skype to root my device?
I've already bricked my HTC Desire HD once, but fixed it and i don't want that to happen again..
So if someone could teach me over skype so i can do this alone the next time?
I'd also want a ROM which looks like the HTC Sense 3.0 but have Android 4.2 if thats possible.
I've been wanting Android Revolution HD for a whilr but thats only Android 2.3.5?
Write in my thread if you want to help me,
And i want someone who speak proper english so i understand (no offense! i'm from norway..)

Hey, I didn't want to open a new topic about it, but I'm confused a little bit about rooting my phone, because almost every tutorial I've opened mentions Advanced Ace Hack Kit, which doesn't work anymore...
So I would be really grateful if somebody could just put a link here to a newer tutorial.
I have Android 2.3.5, Sense version 3.0 and I would like to upgrade to Jellybean 4.2
AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE YOU MIGHT INCURE IN THE COURSE OF ROOTING YOUR DEVICE.
I need to know your specs, android version.
I the mean time, you can download UNLOCK ROOT on your PC, you will be prompted to install the drivers of your device when connected via USB. Ensure you are connected to the internet if you do not have the driver at hand. Follow the on screen prompt to complete the driver installation. Then you can launch the unlock root application to complete the rooting process. Please keep me posted.
Hit the thanks button if I helped.
Cheers.

Hello, I'm new to this forum so i want to apologize in advance if this is not the correct section where i should post this.
Well, back on topic, i recently got a new Huawei Ascend Y330: Dual Core 1.3, 512MB Ram, Android 4.2, Emui 2.5 (i guess). The thing is that when i tried to download Clash of Clans from the App Store, it told me that the app is not compatible with this device. I'm puzzled because i was able to download Asphalt 8 and play without any issues and that game needs more requiriments than CoC. But anyways, i tried updating my device and everything i could do but nothing. One of my friends told me that i can solve this by rooting my device and he mentioned something about ROMs. But I don't know anything about rooting devices.
I want to resume in a short question: Am i able to play CoC if i root my device? If yes, please tell me how to root it, the thing is that I'm new to this process and i wanted some advice before i do anything stupid. I don't want to damage my phone. And i know there are a lot of tutorials on how to root it but they're for Samnsung, LG, and those famous companies, in the other hand, i got a Huawei and the model i have it's no so recognized like an LG G3 or a Samsung Galaxy s4.
This will be helpful not only for CoC but it might happen with more apps that i want to get in the future so i really want to know the answer. Thanks in advance!
First and for most thanks to everyone for all there useful knowledge lol...I have a couple questions and Iwhen it comes to computers or android devices im far from an amateur im no genius but definitely know my way around PCs and androids....Im having a problem with my SuperSU app it says I need to update my binary files and I've tried to do so with both options that were givin...My second problem is im not all that knowledge when it comes to custom roms and things of that nature so my question is could someone please email me detailed instructions on how I could possibly update my OS 2.3.6 to 4.0 or higher I've researched and researched but without any luck
And im in desperate need of an upgrade now after a few failed attempts im now frustrated and again im on a Motorola Milestone 3 (xt861) OS 2.3.6 and I do have root access thank u guys once again and please respond as soon as possible preferably by Email which is [email protected].....(those are 3 zeros not Os lol)
I have a Lenovo vibe x2, i used to have windows-phones but since my last one got stolen i thought i would try androids out. Lenovo has now updated vibe X2 to the lollipop upgrade and i can't find a video or anything that will help me root my device.
Plus i have some questions about rooting an android :
1st. does it worth to do so ?
2nd. What will i get from rooting my phone
3rd. Is it dangerous cause my phone might bug and what will i need to do if that happens ?
I would really appreciate someone answering those questions and helping me with the root.
(a trustful guide and trustful files will do just great, i am computer experienced enough to make it through it's just some fears i need to "extinguish" )

I found this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yUGYK0tarBE
Although the title says Android 5.0 Lollipop but we can clearly see throughout the video that the guy is running android 4.4.2. Anyway, I've never heard of/tried kingroot so I can't be sure if its legit or not but you can give it a try.
And as for your questions:
1. Root is NOT a necessity. You can use google search to know about it and decide yourself.
2. Again you can find this by a google search.
3. There is always a risk when you mod your phone. Incase you somehow manage to brick it by that simple tutorial, I guess your device would have some stock firmware online which you can download and reflash by some kind of flashtool to restore to stock.
Cheers,
