Ask your carrier, here in Hungary we have 4G only on Vodafone and Telenor, Vodafone is the only one who provides 4G with B20, in your country I don't know...
Go on alie...(don't want to advertise) and search for it, look for a seller who provides no custom duty with DHL, etc... just be careful if you order from china, you could pay some extra money for the customs if you don't be careful.

Sales XDA (the language confusion thread)

Hi,
I already sent emails for you and I didn't obtain a concrete answer.
I live in Brazil and I am developer, work with you vary lines of PDA'S.
Is interested in this line of PDA and Telephone and he would like to know as I can buy a XDA. Here in Brazil the frequency GSM is 1800 Mhz, the same of Europe and unhappily there is not a competitor here for NOKIA and SIEMENS.
The apparels are very expensive and they don't compensate the investment on the part of my customers, that want to acquire PDA'S /Telephones to automate its areas of sales.
I reinforce again, that here in Brazil apparels work only GSM in the frequency of 1800 MHZ.
That my search in the European apparels, because they possess the same frequency and they are cheaper.
It would like an answer the briefest possible.
Thankful.

Re: Sales XDA
Ehm...
I know it's partly a language problem, but it's really not that clear from the above what the question is. I think its is either whether you can use European XDAs on the Brazilian network. If that was indeed the question, the answer is yes, provided the phone(s) you get are unlocked, or you are able to unlock them (=you have a serial cable). If you buy simlocked phones which are locked to the European O2 networks, they will not work on Oi/Telmar or any of the TIM networks without unlocking them first.
If the question is "where do I buy XDAs", I think you should check with various web-stores that carry O2 or T-Mobile in Europe or O2 in Asia.

Yes, I would like to buy a XDA. But, I don't get information from where you buy it, and he would like to know even in the European frequency of 1800 Mhz he angers to work here in Brazil (that is the same frequency of Europe). And as I do for you activate it.
Re: Sales XDA
Yes.
XDA in Brazil
I use a XDA in Brazil, with Oi sim card. I brought from UK and installed the Developers ROM.
Actually I am selling it, if someone is interested...

The phones are tied to the networks at the moment, no one, not even HTC themselves offer a sim-free Amaze. If you want one you will have to by a Network phone off eBay that somebody doesn't want. So far there seems to be only T-mobile versions out there. Besides you can only unlock the T-mobile version for flashing ROMs at the moment..
Why do you want a Canadian model for? Is it the lack of branding?

[Q] USA phone on Canadian network (TELUS)??

Would I be able to buy an unlocked Note in the US, in person or via the web/Amazon etc..., and use it in Vancouver BC on the Telus network?
Just trying to save myself a buck or 2 and I hear they are going pretty cheap on Amazon right now. If I were to buy one up here I'm looking at $600 min....
Yes, but buy the international version. Then you just have to upload some different firmware and all is good...
Why buy the international version? You could buy the lte version, all you need to do is just get a company to send you an unlock code for the phone... Tbh, the lte offers more frequencies to use. Unless you're a flash junkie, and want various versions of roms then the international is the one you're gonna want.

You should be able to purchase it and use it in another country. However, the Canadian variant is a special variant based on the T-Mobile version. The Canadian version may not support all LTE bands with your carrier so you may want to research that. Also, I'm assuming there is the Regional SIM-Lock built in for first activation. After that you'd have to get an unlock code from any online vendor (around $15) and enter it.
Canadian Model : SM-G925W8
T-Mobile: SM-G925T
If you're from EU, you're probably better off buying the 925F factory unlocked from there itself if it supports the bands. The kernels for 925F and 925T/W8 are not interchangeable so you'd be waiting for TMO/W8 development if you're into flashing custom roms/kernels.

At a store in Canada, most likely not. You'd have to look at online stores (Amazon, E-bay, Expansys). NCIX Canada is selling unlocked S6(E) but it doesn't state what model it is, and it is marked up severely. Considering you're already in EU, it's probably easier for you to import one from a neighbouring country that is selling them or buy one at a store nearby.

W8 version supports all worldwide LTE bands except for a few bands in some asian markets. I took my Rogers W8 Edge to Morocco, spain, portugal, poland and germany just a few weeks ago and had LTE in all those countries

and if i will buy the canadian version. do you know if i will can transfer it to hebrew? with morelocal?

Will this work on ATT HSPA?

I am pretty sure this will not work on ATT LTE, but will it work on att hspa? This is the perfect phone for me. Im so tired of huge phones. And when they make a smaller or "mini" phone here in the US, they neuter it with lowered specs.

It will. But don't buy the European model, go for China PLK-UL00 or better PLK-AL10. With the last one you can get even LTE in big cities if you spare some money for Sprint's or any of provides roaming on its network prepaid sim (it is a dual sim phone).
You can find fair accurate information on: http://www.willmyphonework.net/
You can buy it either from Chinese supplier, (Amazon, Oppomart) or one of European suppliers (Grossoshop, Topresellerstore). Buying from China should be the cheapest option but you don't have any real warranty. Make sure that european warranty is offered if you choose an european seller.

Thanks so much for your feedback. Im trying to decide between this and the ZTE Axon Mini or maybe the Xiaomi Mi4C.
Any clue what model number this is? http://www.geekbuying.com/item/HUAW...a-Core-20-0-MP-OTG-Touch-ID--Gray-348511.html
Chinese PLK-UL00. It supports 3g in the USA.
