Hi,
When accessing the settings for the stock camera app some options are in Chinese (I use English) - for example, "Voice Capture" is in English but the sub menu options "Capture" or "Cheese" are displayed in Chinese. This means the phone will only recognize voice commands if spoken in Chinese!
Is there any way to change this?

You can change the language at language and input settings->voice control

Hello everyone.
I've recently bought my dad the prime with a keyboard dock and I can't find a quick and easy way to change the input language of the keyboard when it's docked.
There is an option to change the device's language to our local one (Hebrew if that matters), but then it changes everything to Hebrew.
I just want the device's language to be English and have something like alt+shift to switch between the languages when it's docked.
However, so far it's either stuck on English (if the device's language is set to English), or alternates randomly between Hebrew and English (probably depends on the context of the text) with no real way to change it.
Is this a known issue? Is there a way to solve this?
Well, apparently ctrl+space does the trick when the keyboard is docked, at least for me.

if you go to ASUS keyboard setting, and only check Hebrew keyboard (without English Keyboard), you can simply switch back and forth between English and Hebrew by pressing alt key which is right next to space bar.
when alt key is pressed, it shows which keyboard has activated via little dialog box on the center of the screen.
This is the control + shift hassle free of doing it.
I am surprised to find Spell Checker absent on my Galaxy s3 inspite of it being ICS.
I have been using ICS on HTC sensation before this phone and have gotten use to the automatic spell check in ICS which underlines in red the wrongly spelled words. Pressing these gives you options to correct it with suggestions or to add to dictionary.
Any one found a solution for this yet?
menu->settings->language and indata (or something like that)->little settingsicon at the right of samsung-keyboard->2 option

If you have not already found it .
as above then >> Predictive Text >>>Spell correction .
If not then its your phone or your firmware at fault .

Got the same problem here. I really liked the red underlined misspelled words on my Galaxy S with stock ICS. Why did Samsung remove this feature?
It is on mine under Settings, Language and Input, Samsung Keyboard Settings (the gear icon on the right hand side), Predictive Text. Can you select Predictive Text by tapping on the word?
Tapped
Mine wont do it either....
Does anyone get a red line under misspelled words?
It seems that word correction only appears in the voice dictate mode on S3. I have predictive text enabled, but don't get the misspelled words underlined
I would donate to get this fixed on a non rooted g3

Simple solution to this problem.
1.Go to playstore download jellybean keyboard.
2.go to language and use this keyboard as default.
3.click on the settings icon, choose show corrections suggestions to always show.
and thats it. problem solved.
if this helped please hit the thanks button below enjoy the SIII !
Was able to find the keyboard and install it however it didn't underline the misspelled words on the S3 as advertised in the hype around the keyboard. I that because that feature is turned off in the ROM?

that's probably because you have set language to hebrew, that's right to left isn't it?

Yes the language goes from right to left, but the numbers go from left to right. There is no single Hebrew letter in the lock screen with pin numbers.

When the phone is set to English the pin numbers are set in correct order. The idea is to set them correctly when the phone is set to Hebrew.

maybe you can look into framework-res or something (if you are rooted)
