I am looking for one as I have a dbrand skin on my phone (they are great ), most screen protectors are mostly for the whole front part.
Buy a normal screen protector and cut it how you want
I've been looking for one as well, for the same reason. No luck so far. Slickwraps usually include such a screen protector with their orders, but I've no idea how it would perform on our "2.5D" screen. It's also probably not worth ordering a set of skins just for the very average PET film.

The edges won't stick, you'll get a "halo" effect, dust will get in, etc.
You *could* try something from Skinomi, though. I know their wet-apply protectors stick really well on curved glass (I swore by it back in my HTC One X days). You could either try to cut it down to size, if you have such precise tools, or even just stick the whole thing over your skin, it'll probably be fine. Plus you get protection for your nice skin.
I am in the same boat. I'm getting a skin for mine and want to still be able to protect my screen.
Yesterday I received i-croo full screen protector and I think it's the best protection available today. This type of PET must be combined with proper case like Ringke Slim to avoid peeling on edges.

We are looking to cover just the screen though. Not the entire front. We have skins that cover everything on the front but the screen.
Put on a full coverage screen protector.
A wet install one would work the best.
If not a wet install, one like the Spigen Curved Crystal is excellent.
Then apply the front skin directly on top of the protector.
I did this for a while and it worked perfectly with the Spigen Curved Crystal.
The skin actually stuck well to the protector, and the corner cutouts of the protector allow the skin to stick to the screen directly and hold the protector down better.
Here is the amazon link for the Spigen protector, only $8.99 for a 2 pack right now.

I had considered that. Obviously it would stick to a glass protector, but any experience with applying a skin to a wet apply protector? I only ask because I'm not sure I'm sold on using a glass one on the curved screen. Also, thanks for the link!

The glass protectors for the S7 Edge are ALL horrible, do not use them.
The Spigen Curved Crystal is a curved PET protector, it actually fits the phones really well.
There was some problems with the initial batch of protectors but that has been fixed and now they are perfect.

well, I have a tempered glass screen protector on it, and I am very happy with it. It is a 100 times beter than any other plastic screenprotector, as it will not scratch easily.

This case is good but bumper is of plastic which is delicated.
I have tried every thing out there and ended up with everything Nillkin, case and screen
I have the black/gold Ipaky case and a tempered glass screen protector. I like them both.
Does anyone know of a desktop battery charger to charge a spare battery out of the phone?

I also have an iPaky case bought from ali express. (Black version in my case)
Build quality is good an the case stays higher than the screen protecting it from falls.
The back is super grippy with a nice pattern.
For a screen protector i use a tempered glass one which is stronger than a normal plastic screen protector and doesn't leave bubbles after being applied. It costs a bit more than ordinary screen protectors but you can get one for as low as 1€ from Aliexpress.
I own two cases, one is a simple one with a transparent black color while the other one has an Audi sportscar drawn on it.
So here is what I got:
Aksberry tempered glass screen protector
Pros:
good fit
Tempered glass does seem very hard
rounded edges don't catch on things (like pockets)
Cons:
seems to reduce sensitivity of touch screen
mine has a flaw that has created a bubble under it. It is on the lower edge, so it doesn't affect its operation, just an annoyance to look at.
Nillkin case
Pros:
good fit
edge extends above screen (and screen protector)
extends above buttons. This also helps prevent accidental button presses (am I the only person who thinks that power button is in exactly the wrong spot?)
Cons:
haven't noticed any
Currently using the iPaky case with the silver frame. I love it. The iPaky cases are one of the best out there. I have also a leather flip cover, it's nice but I don't use it much for whatever reason.
did anyone notice the screen protector sensor hole is on the wrong side?
left which has nothing on it, right is where the sensor is.
damn....
Hi,
My Lenovo glass had broken many times & now it gives problem of sensing. Where should I get to change the glass & how much it cost?
I use a tempered glass protector with a skin I ordered from skins4gadgets. The skin is good enough for my usage.
Has anyone found any screen protectors, film, PET, glass, etc. that cover the entire screen correctly? I've already ordered a film one that was all misaligned and didn't cover it well.
I hear that Zagg is coming out with one that's pretty awesome. It supposedly wrap around entirely, front to back.
I must be lucky because I never use a screen protector and have never experienced a broken screen, just use a Otterbox commuter.
I'm also looking for one of the self-healing screen protectors that fits... the ones on Amazon have reviews that say it's cut wrong

I have a few of their screen protectors on order and should arrive in a few days.
Anybody else having issues with SPIGEN?
Don't seem to be sticking at the edges of the protector
I picked up an amFilm glass screen protector -- it's supposed to be full screen coverage.
I think I'll wait on ordering a glass screen protector until someone actually gets one installed and thinks it looks right. I'm wanting an edge to edge one. Even the Amfilm does not mention it's curved or not. Edge to Edge and curved to go to the edges are two different things.
I am going to buy the glass one here. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Galaxy-S...hash=item1a0f20ea52:m:mvH5yB-EhsNPPk95uO127rg

I've found the IQ Shield wet apply to be a decent alternative to tempered glass. Not quite as smooth and clear, but excellent fit and protection.

Second the Skinomi Matte, fits nicely. The Edge display looks a bit different under it, like the skin itself is lighting up not like it's a layer on top of the display. Previously used a tempered glass on my GS5 so this is a big difference. Touch feel of the skin is good. Had to remember how to put on a protector cleanly though, took a couple tries to get it done (but I had budgeted one 'practice' protector to burn).
Haven't noticed a rainbow effect though.
Spigen ones cover the whole screen (not full coverage) and from S6 experiance they are actually slightly wider than the active parts of the screen, unliek most ones I have seen that are exactly the same width as the screen.
Can someone confirm that the front dimesions of S6/S7 are the same? Have some spigen ones left and guessing they will fit exactly the same?

Read both positive and negative ones on the S7 version. Some say perfect fit and some say its peels. Might be some quality control issues on first batches I guess as they were selling way before phone release.

Thats a bit of bad news. I would have expected better from Spigen.
Indeed, i always buy spigen screen/glass protectors but this time they're not very different from others.
Tbh i tried other screen protectors and spigen ones are the best, they don't stick for less than 1mm but it's away from perfect anyway.
Hi all,
I'm looking for a good glass screen protector that covers the whole screen (usually they are ones with a black or white border), but I'm really struggling to find good makes. I tried a protector from LK, but the glass was pretty cloudy and had a 'rainbow' effect raising our from the centre of the protector, it also turned out to be a disaster to remove, with the strong adhesive leaving adhesive marks and shattered glass as I tried to remove it!
Anyone else had any experience with other protectors and could make a recommendation?
I tried the 2 from Nillkin, but only one had full coverage with black edges. The glass was fine, but the edges looked cheap and tacky.
There is a video of full screen glass on YT and the guy that posted the video has posted videos here (unofficial Huawei), but he's just a shill and has no interest in answering questions, just promoting products.

A friend of mine got this brand, he got it from china, it's called called smartdevil, although it's only a OEM brand, anyway, it includes a frame for accurate placement of the protector, full coverage glass protector with about 1/2mm rim to accommodate a case, liquid filler to fill up the sids rim.
no link will be provided unless you intend to flight to china to buy it, just to let you know they are available so may be some searching you can find it online or similar item since it's only a oem product.
I also had a horrible experience with the LK screen protector. Rainbow effect in the middle and really annoying adhesive at the top and bottom. The transparent screen itself was also not very clear.
I then switched to an OMOTON brand one and it is amazing! Fingerprint and smudge resistant. Fits perfectly, full coverage across the screen. Looks sturdy. Cutouts perfect. Only downside is that it ends a bit short at the top and bottom, so still exposed there unless you use a case with a lip.
Avoid LK, and give the OMOTON one a try.

Glad I'm not the only one with a bad experience with LK. Looks like the transparent Omoton protectors that don't cover the full screen are easy enough to find, but I'm struggling to find the full coverage one where did you get yours from?

I got my OMOTON screen protector from Amazon (prime delivery - fulfilled by Amazon). You're right, it isn't full coverage (smaller than LK's one). But its close enough to full coverage if you have a tpu case that has a good lip.
Yesterday I got my Omoton tempered glass (Amazon.co.uk), and I am dissatisfied - the glass does not fit properly on the display (air space on both sides)...
This is Nillkin's. Similar size* but adheres perfectly (sorry for crap picture).
I also tried their 3D version (full screen) but it makes the phone look very cheap.
*Actually the Omoton looks wider.

What was it about the 3D version you felt looked cheap? Was it easy to remove the screen protector?
Right now I'm using the GhostShield by TechGear. They are relatively cheap and difficult to install, but after watching a video on installing them, it was a little easier. They are extremely thin - almost invisible and are self healing, but any dust caught under the protector will result in a bumpy surface. I'm also not entirely sure how great the protection is they offer. My Ringke Fusion case started lifting the to corners of the protector, but I think I stretched the protector (really easy to do with a membrane protector this thin!) slightly as I tried to get the bubbles off the surface.
Still looking for the best solution to protect my screen...

The plastic borders. It was very easy to remove as the plastic borders don't really have much in the way of adhesive.
I will try a Cafele next, when I can be bothered to order one.
Just got both of these two delivered from www.taobao.cn
first one is a anti blue ray with installation frame for exact right positioning and liquid filler for those air gaps along the edges of the protector, the second one is a normal tempered glass protector as a two piece package with the same accessories.

Could you share full link, please? Would like to buy one for mom Thank you
I got Omoton full coverage tempered glass but i am afraid its not compatible with silicone cases? It is good screen protector but sadly not ideal for cases.
It looks like cases lift screen protector on edges slightly so air gets underneath... Any good screen protectors that are not full coverage so i can still use case?
I bought the nilkin glas but the black borders around the screen protector takes a lot of screen space, I don't recommend it!
Sent from my VTR-L29 using XDA-Developers Legacy app
Benks have a really good one, it's a full coverage with white or black boarder (adhesive covers throughout the whole glass, not just the edges), just like those on the iphone, it curves and cover the edges.
Benks have two version, KR PRO this is also full coverage, glass & plastic sided and XPro+ full glass coverage.
I am using the Benks XPro+ full glass cover and I think it's great. It's a 3D glass screen protector, covers the screen perfectly, right to the edges, with no air bubles. Also it has an oleophobic coating.

its a good product, i just got a spare one yesterday incase I need it, slightly cheap than my first one.
Ok so I applied a Yootech film protection on my S8 for some time now, it has a perfect fit, but my TPU case is lifting here and there the protection every day, I have to repress on the lifted areas every day, some areas are starting to lose glue.
I saw that Spigen has a cover friendly version, is it better than Yootech for my case?
I used to have a crystal film (non-wet) protection on my HTC 10 and it was amazing, the TPU cover never lifted a mm of it and after 5 to 7 days the plastic feel was replaced by a near glass touch feeling
Are you taking about the spigen neo flex? If so that's what I use on mine and have cases from spigen, caseology, poetic and ringke and none of those lift the protector.

Yes the Neo Flex
How's the plastic feeling? Does it stay even after days or you feel it's becoming more like glass when you touch the screen after a week or so?
It was the case with the spigen crystal film on my ex-HTC 10, the 1st week it felt plasticky and a bit sticky but after it felt like glass, though with the Yootech which is a wet film install it still feels a bit sticky and plasticky after 10 days

I wonder why this time they didn't do a non-wet film, their crystal one from last year was perfect, it never lifted at all
There is another option called ''invisible defender'' that add a protection till the back of the S8 so the edges never peel and it's not a wet solution so it shouldn't have the plastic feel, but on amazon the reviews are mixed

I've seen a spigen curved crystal on Amazon Canada. Seems to be what your looking for as it is not wet applied. The dry films scratch way to easily for me in my place of work so it's either glass or wet applied. And I'm not paying $60 for a protector that I'll have to change out in 2-3 months at most.

I have the same one. Works great for me also.
I bought the tempered glass screen protector on the RAZER website when I purchased the phone. It covers the entire screen top to bottom. And I mean the whole screen too. It barely touched the speaker grills top and bottom. It lacks about ½mm on each side from covering the sides completely. I bought the bright green phone case on their site as well. And it has no issues fitting snugly with the screen protector on.
I would definitely recommend the screen protector on RAZER's website.
I'd actually love to get one.. however they don't deliver to Switzerland.. so there goes that idea.

I had/have a these screen protectors. Had to take my current one off as it did not like the Spigen case I have. It would fit the phone perfectly, but the case would slightly bulge out on the top and bottom of the screen where the protector would start.
Tried the Orzly and like you said, it bulged out the sides with the spigen case.
So I tried a razor phone 1 screen protector. (RP1 is 1.3mm narrower than the RP2) I got a twin pack CaseBase from eBay sold by orzlystore for £2.99
I think it’s a perfect fit. Same quality as the orzly ones.
