As OPX has a snapdragon 801 which has an architecture of arm32 bit then you should select arm version
Don't know about the second part of your question

Just received the new phone and followed online guide to convert to the official Global ROM https://xiaomifirmware.com/guides-and-tips/guide-flash-redmi-note-4x-china-8-1-12-global-rom/
The first step to install the dev rom works flawlessly. However, the 2nd part to update the global rom, it wont proceed. My guess is that it doesnt like the 4gb/64gb hardware as opposed to the 3gb/32gb hardware.
My question is, is anyone running the 4gb/64gb Mediatek version on the official global rom?
Is there another english ROM that I can install but that has "second space" support or integration?
I use 3gb/64gb on global rom, works perfectly (mtk). Hmm, I didn't know that is 4gb/64gb mtk version, I thought that is only 3gb/64gb mtk

I tried all roms... The best one was aicp, but the castor builds after the 24.06 build was corrupt. Carbon Rom is a little bit buggy on castor and Resurrection Remix is the best choice
How To for the best experience....
1. Install twrp 3 recovery (twrp 2.8 may work too) and wipe - factory reset...
In one instance add then these to install....
2. remix resurrection is the latest and most useable release for z2 lte
3. Install BeanGapps
after reboot and config go back to recovery and install these:
4. magisk 14.2 (beta) via twrp recovery
Reboot again and start magisk manager
5. Download and install (both in the manager) the Module "Universal SafetyNet fix"
reboot
6. You are done & have fun :victory:
You need for this:
twrp 3 recovery (flash via adb)
remix resurrection rom for castor
BeanGapps
Magisk 14.2 (beta)

I did not unlock the bootloader, so I can only install the firmware of sgp521 with flashtool. If you unlock it, you may be able to flash the rom above
I think it's only possible if someone repack Nougat developer preview for Xperia Z3 but tablet version (which have same hardware). Developer preview puts easily on locked japanese devices (which cheaper because of lock).
I also want Nougat on japanese Z2 tablet, because even Developer preview by my experience on my japanese locked Z3 smartphone are very fast, very good battery (a week on one charge, on z2 tablet battery is problematic short on all Androids from 4 to 6) and there's multitasking (2 windows), i don't have any bugs on it with latest Google Services updates (except not working NFC). Developer preview (last one, NPD56N) looks like little unfinished but fully usable on everyday basis.
I'm assuming the Z2 tablet battery on Nougat will be much better and total OS more usable with multitasking, i'm using Z2 tablet to only watch Twitch or Youtube so i don't need super security patches and etc.
I've tried to use Android 6 firmware as base to write Nougat developer preview partially (note: on locked japanese tablets Marshmallow not supported officially, it's only possible to write it using parts from official EU tablet versions-fully working Wifi version full must be overwritten by cellular version partially (only system and kernel) to get working cell and NFC) but the main problem is boot.sin, anyway writing smartphone version was just test, it's like starting but no image on display.
So, someone need to repack the old Nougat Developer Preview from Sony to tablets specifically - because it's only working Nougat version on Snapdragon 801 with locked bootloader! Unfortunately i haven't found anything googling all Internet, no one even tried that.
I just upgraded my Redmi Note 3 Pro Special Edition (Kate) to Global Miui 9 (V9.2.3.0.MHRMIEK).
I was able to install Magisk 16 via TWRP flash.
I tried to install Xposed via the Material Design Xposed Installer by DVDAndroid, but it just gets stuck on boot (on the MI splashscreen).
What version of Xposed should be used? It's MIUI9, obviously 64bit for our phone, but still Marshmallow.
Thanks!

Official Xposed might not work with MIUI. You might have to use the modified version of Xposed developed by Solarwarez, specifically for MIUI. For marshmallow, the version is sdk23.

Ok, thanks for this!
I'm under the impression I should be installing Xposed using Magisk, is that right? Or should I just find the version using DVDAndroid's Xposed installer app?
Same here buddy
Failed to install exposed after this upgrade
It stops on the miui bootscreen for horus
Tried even different exposed versions like 87.1 87.2 nothing works.... I wonder why not this upgrade

Are you having problems flashing Magisk?
I used ZCX-Twrp, and had no problems flashing Magisk. If you're having problems, try to flash the Magisk uninstaller and try again.
Tried searching on the forum but only found some threads related to mipad 1 and android 8.
I have a mipad 3 on miui 8 with android 7.0, it have been doing alright except for some "Updates has stopped working" which i didnt care for. But i don't have the dual app on this rom so i need to install a miui 9 or higher if i wanted to use dual apps.
Is there any android oreo rom for mipad 3 or still stuck on android 7? I don't think its worth to flash to another rom just to get the dual apps and a few improvements...
You can install xiaomi.it rom.
It supported MIUI10.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi...-miui-10-recovery-fastboot-t3853514?nocache=1
I don't know if it supports dual apps.
Xiaomi still updating mi pad3.
However, it is only in the Chinese version. And Android version is still 7.

Maybe it will not be updated to Oreo.

My device comes with 3gb RAM and 32GB of storage. It has a snapdragon 617 Qualcomm processor. I have tried many things to make playstore and other Google sync apps to work but fruitless. I rooted it with kingroot. Please help and if possible, suggest custom rom android 6.0 or higher.
First of all flash TWRP.Second search for your device model Custom ROMs.If there are none then bad news. But if you only want Gapps download them from opengapps for your specific device version and flash them in TWRP and everything will be okay.
