First of all I want to say Hello to XDA-Developers this is my first thread.
I like to tweak/flash my SGS2 I9100 with different roms and mods like CM 10.2.
But now I want to get my own little Costum Rom but dont know where to start.
Can somebody please help me getting started into Rom Developement ?

Asus Rampage V Extreme
Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail 64-Bit
Intel Core i7 3960x @ 5,0 GHZ
32 gb DDR3 Ram
512 gb Samsung SSD
5 TB HDD Seagate
50k Telekom Germany VDSL
So u have a supercomputer i suggest u to learn how to compile from source... i hope u have a unlimited net also...

Such a nice PC...but Ubuntu ruins it.
I have a mid-range phone with 512mb ram, dual-core cpu, 5mpx camera http://www.gsmarena.com/zte_blade_iii_pro-5425.php . I have tried to port MIUI for this phone, but all attempts were unsucsessfull. The stock Rom of my phone is almost stock android. I've folowed the patchrom instructions but all are too complicated. Im asking you is there any auto porting command for ubuntu terminal or is there any program for windows or Ubuntu ( i run both ) that can auto port MIUI V5 for my phone. Just wondering if CyanogenMod 12 will work on my phone? I don't even know what to do my phone, just brought it from 29 november 2014. Looked up at internet, and no good tutorials to find and need root to flash cyanogenmod 12. The model is Samsung Galaxy V (Indonesia, Telkomsel), SM-G313HZ. Any suggestions?

CM11 and CM12 work
I am currently trying to CM11 , tratandod to solve some bugs , maybe then try CM12 the problem is that my computer does not have enough features to compile CM12 , I have good processor 9.9Ghz AMD 500GB HDD , but memory is very short , I have only 2GB and 4GB normally required or higher.

if u want to compile CM12 with 2 GB RAM, u can use Elementary OS 0.3 x64. Im using it to compile cm11. and my pc also has 2 GB RAM only with 3.10 GHz.
And i've managed CM11 for galaxy v. sm-g313hz. u can find out in Galaxy V SM-G313HZ Development Thread. (Check my signature). But still has more bugs. If u want to help us, we'll so happy.

I am currently working with Xubuntu 15.04 , perhaps this weekend try AOSP 5.1 is aware Galaxy Repository V in my Github , there you will see all the changes that I do.

Nope, CM12 needs more than 2GB. Currently i have 4GB of RAM and a pentium G630 @2.7GHz. When building CM12 it uses swap so much (i've 6GB zRAM and it eats 5GB of it)
I'm looking for some help building CM12.1 for this device to get it in life . Even this is just a cheap phone, but we're devs, we can do it, so bring it on! Now with CM12.1, i'm currently facing with dead services (service media.audio_flinger died and more....)
A little off-topic: I've done building CM11 for this device and released the first builds. Now our (me and my friend on Github) biggest problem is that damn RIL. If someone could make it work, we will greatly appreciated

I got a Doogee Turbo Mini F1 running an MT6732 1 GB RAM and 8 GB ROM, it's okay for my usage, but, the internal memory is splitted into 2 partitions, 1,2 GB for apps and 4,59 GB for storage.
I've searched for EBR Tweak which I used for an MT6592 device and worked perfectly, but, I found that this program were not updated in order to work with new devices running MT6532 and MT6752, ... or I didn't find the right version.
Did anyone figure it out?

so i have an older htc the desire s and it runs cm 13 but as i was looking for this device i only find cm 9 or mc 10 replica's that are basicly a rooted stock android and so i was wondering is there annyone that can get a working cm11 cm 12 cm12.1 or cm13 for this device or is the phone modding comunity for this device so small its imposible
Not all hardware is capable of having the newest software. Besides that, Desire X is too old. So 4.x is the highest you can get.
