Battery and Charging issue

Is it this battery life normal? brightness is on auto, 3G always on. (i think i used to go for like 18hours like this, not 10) Also charging from 0 to 100 takes like 3hours and 30mins, maybe even more, while i was on Boeffla-Kernel, in the app when the phone was on charger it said AC-700mAh charging, sometimes 600, every time i reconnect was between those two, sometimes even 500, like i was USB charging, and not using the stock 1000mAh charger :/ Sometimes when it goes to 100% it takes another 20mins to say, Battery fully charged and the light to turn green. Any help, advice, EDIT: in 60 minutes on AC Charger, it charged from 30 to 58%.

You may try to wipe cache in recovery. It worked for me. now i get almost a day and 12 hours of continuous use.
u have an average battery life as per your usage
whats more consuming is your screen usage time 1hr 34min which is not that bad
plus your nfc and smart stay are on which consumes battery
try to wipe cache in recovery,it might help
i tryed that, also reflashed the rom, i notice when i turn off wifi and 3g, the phone last's long, normal, but when i turn those radios the battery simply drains by doing nothing, also connections of 3g drops, so i talked with local S3 users and they have similar issues, so now i flashed other modem (mk6) (instead of mk3 T-Mobile), will try to see if it is the modem

Charging speed

To power up, you consume Red Bull. But your phone just needs its adaptive fast charger. Rate this thread to express how quickly the honor 5X can charge. A higher rating indicates that it charges extremely fast.

Takes almost 2 hours with me using a 2.1a fast charger

if you have gsm battery app you can see that the phone cannot accept 2.1A,
it's the big cons indeed!
Takes 2h20m from an Anker IQ 2.4A charger (1-100%) With the stock 1A charger it takes 3+ hours.
I just got mine and it charges much faster with a 2 amp charger. I am using a 5 port Aukey with one port that has the Qualcom fast charge 2.0.
I also have a Blu VIVO 5 and the Honor charges just as fast as that with the 2 amp charger. The Blu Vivo 5 includes a 2amp in the box while the honor does not.
On my HTC One and my Sony Xperia Z3 compact, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gombosdev.ampere reports something in the neighborhood of 1.4-1.7 amperes with a Quick Charge 2.0 charger, and I go from 1% to 60% in about 20-30 minutes as claimed. On my Honor 5X, the highest I see the app report is 850 mA, and it takes about as long as what everyone else is reporting. With a non-Quick Charge charger I get about 550 mA.
Edit: 850 mA is what I often see using one of my chargers. I'm using a different one right now and just now I saw it as high as 1.1 A.
Using an USB multimeter I can see it charge at 1A with my Blitzwolf 5 ports charger.
Honor 5x L22 model take around 3 hours to charge from 0-100%.
Wish they would enable Qualcomm Quick Charge tech for this device since the Chinese market version has it by default. It takes quite a while to charge from 0-100
Good speed with the normal 2 Amp charger. reaches 100% in and around 2hrs
Quite slow
upto the mark
Coming from a fast charging phone, honor 5x is quite slow. But it is OK as i use the phone normally so from 100 to 0 it last easily 2 days.
Sent from my KIW-L21 using XDA-Developers mobile app
yep they should have used some sort of quick charge
0-100% takes 2 and a half hours usually.
2hours with 2A charger
It's still very slow
Plus side is slower charge will keep your battery in better health and longer lifespan . fast charge is real harsh on the battery pack .
I find mine takes almost 3 hrs from about 5% to full when on and 4G running . You can get 60% in an hr or less which not bad .

VOOC from Oppo is the most efficient.
2 hours average from 5-100% on stock charger.

[KENZO][QUESTION] Battery charging rate

I received my RN3SD 3gb yesterday. I was testing the charging rate today because I felt that it was charging slower today than yesterday. I used the program Ampere to check the charging rate. Market link is:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...lay&pcampaignid=APPU_1_aYcvV5ziJMG0uATH1YSoBw
Well, in getting around 1000 mAh on an average with a max of 1300 mAh and lowest of 230 mAh.
I read somewhere that the charging rate should be around 1900 mAh. I would appreciate if I got feedback as to what the normal charging rate is for you guys (ideally, checked in the same app). And please let me know if I should be using a different app. Thanks.
info:
Unrooted ROM MIUI Global 7.2.2.0
Yes u r right, i m getting 1900 mah with 16 gb model ,ampere app is ok. Maybe try factory reset
Ampere showing 1.9k mA to 2k mA here.try check your cable and charger.
How that matter and what doest it affect ? Its about charging time or battery life ?
I'm gettgin 1550mAh
What was the battery percentage when you opened Ampere? When it's getting up to like 90 % the current goes down.

When I opened Ampere the reading always varies. Sometimes is 490 sometimes 1150, the highest I've got is 1650. The charging cable and the charger are brand new. Even tried charging from a USB power bank, got about 500mah. What can be the reason for this slow charging. These are all values foe when charge is less than 90%. What can be the reason?
Depends on what powerbank you have. Most don't support high charging rates, (although there are some more powerful ones from xiaomi and lenovo on the low end market).
On another note,
I am wondering about the maximum Voltage and Amp we can charge with safely? i tried 3 differennt ones; 5v 0.3A, 5v 1.2A and 5.2V 2A. All seem to work fine, with the last one i got about 10% per 10 min with a value of around 2100 Mahor higher , but i am not sure if this is a safe way to charge the device?
Does anyone know what is the maximum safe charging value?

There are regulators inside the phone that step down the voltage to charge the battery, i think it's a 4.35v cell but the phone will regulate the charge. So long as the USB voltage is within spec it's fine, many chargers have 5.1 or 5.2 volts to combat voltage drop with higher current over long leads or leads with small conductors.
mine about 1.900 mA

Took me 3hrs to fully change my Mido. 0-100%
3-4 hours for a full charge, this thing really needs fast charging feature to charge this huge 4100mha battery..
Me too 3 to 3.30 minutes. If we use it while charging it charging slowly .
My phone take around 2 or 3 hours
2-3 hours as well, but I just charge while I'm sleeping. It easily lasts the full day, so I don't need to charge during the day
Charging RN4 mido is damn slow. It takes around 3hrs for 0-100% topup but why complain when the device lasts for 2days with 10+ hrs of SOT.
Anyone tested charging speed using a kernel that supports fast charging?
My phone takes around 2-2h30 hours to fully charge.
10% to 100% --> 2 hour 50 minutes
2.40 min if on if off around 2.20 if off
is there by any chance to enable fast charging on this device?
My phone takes around 1-1h30 hours to fully charge. Am from Brazil, here uses 230vts in my region...

Guys .. Is there a solution to enable the fast charging.
Thanks.

Get a micro-USB cable that is 22 AWG or lower (the lower the AWG rating the better). And make sure that the cable is made by a high quality manufacturer.
Charging Time
My Phone charges from 0-100 in 2 hours maximum.
Excuse me but charging Redmi Note 4 with STOCK ROM from zero % to 100% takes minimum 3 hours using the cable and charger from the box.
On stock rom I think it's impossible to go under 3h. What is Your take on this?
3 hours to fully charge my rn4 mido. If this device have quick charge it would greater than it is now

The stock charger doesn't come with quick charge, just buy qc charger that is 3.0 (I suggest Aukey qc) and you'll get atleast 2 hrs charge from 0-90%.

Lg v30+ charging speed

After flashing Pixel experience Rom the phone charging speed is increased it gets complitely charged in around 1 hour and with stock charger in AMPERE app the speed is around 2500 to 3000mA
Screenshot is attached
What could be the possible reason?
(Sorry for bad English)
Another snapshot with 2940 mA
The kernel included with that ROM might support the higher charging rate which is common for such custom ROMs and custom kernels. As long as you're using a Quick Charge 2.0 or 3.0 certified charger there shouldn't be anything to worry about; QC2 will make the battery warmer during a charge cycle at the higher rates, so if you can find or if you have a QC3 charger I'd say use that because it'll charge more efficiently and keep the battery cooler during the process.
