I accidentally deleted small apps.. when click multi-tasking button it doesnot appear at all.. Anyone have an idea which file i deleted and how can i extract it back from ftf file of the rom and push it back to the system ? Please any hint
I think there are some extractors for ftf, or you could just ask somebody with your version of rom (lollipop/kitkat) to send you the smallapps folder (or just apk in kitkat).
If you don't want to wait I think you could download them for Google style rom as an add-on.

here's the thing:
I have a st15i it's not rooted and with stock rom 2.3.4 .62 firm, months ago downloaded the "xperia S pack" stock apps from Xperiablog and installed the SemcMusic.apk like a normal app sucsesfully installed but it won't fit on my screen that's the only thing that sucks..... how is it that the app installed like a normal app without root??? I just don't know but it's fine for me.
here in xda there is this thread: "[MOD][APP][GB][MDPI]XPERIA-S Music Port"
I don't know if the app from here works since I'm not rooted and don't have the CWM thing,
Can anybody hepl me please?¿?¿?
PD the app i downloaded from xperiablog has this version: 4.0.A.0.27 if worths mencioning it
wrong section !!
The other music app should be the same as your first one. Your first didn't fit to your phone because it comes from a non mdpi device. The second one is ported to fit on our mdpi devices.
Normally most apks can be installed without root so nothing special. I don't know if the Sony music app requires root but I think not.

thnks for that aclaration man,, do you know where I can find one ported for mdpi,??? here in the forum I just found one that installs via cwm recovery and I don't know what is that
That should be perfect for you.

Between.
I totally overread that you havent rooted and unlocked the bootloader of your phone.
My advice is to unlock the bootloader of your phone. That will make things much easier for you.
You can flash a custom kernel for your phone which includes root and cwm.
Then you can install the xperia s music app via cwm.

thnks man but i searched that thread it's just installing via cwm recovery and I just want the apk files. I think the apps from that thread works for me but i can't install those
anyone got just the apk files?¿?¿? please:fingers-crossed:
Download the zip and extract the needed files manually. But you will need root for moving or replace the extracted files to your phones destination. You also need an app who can manage it.

?¿? I tried it but says aplication not installed,
I already have a file explorer, is really necesary being rooted?¿?, cuase when I installed the non mdpi musc app from xperia s it was fine just didn't fit in the screen.
and I'm actually usin a walkman app from live with walkman phone and Im not rooted
I want something like this but with the xperia s music app for mdpi devices
Yes you need root.
Android does not allow moving or replacing files on system folder without root rights.
Second, as i already wrote, not all file explorer give access to system folder. A file explorer how can managed this is root explorer. Root Explorer is not freeware so you have to buy or look after a cracked version.
If you look inside the zip file, there inside the system folder, you can see which files will be installed on your phone. Thats not less.

An easy way to get it is:
1. Get root to your phone
2. Install cwm to your phone so you can flash the zip from the thread.

Phone must be rooted and has root explorer installed.
This is manual install only cos we dont have available custom recovery build for my device model(SM-N750L)
Here is the guide how to install the files
1. Open root explorer and set system from read to write.
2. Extract the apk's and copy paste all to /system/priv-app/
3. Set right permission of each copied apk.
4. Delete or move the following stock apk to another location to have backup of them:
Under /system/app/
- Weather widget apk/odex
delete the daemon associated with weather widget i forgot the name..
Under /system/priv-app/
- Magazinehome.apk/.odex
SecLauncher3.apk/.odex
SecWallpaperChooser.apk/.apk
Wallpapercropper.odex only
5. After moving or deleting above files reboot the phone and that's it.
if error/foreclose occurs on deleted apk just clear dalvik-cache in custom recovery or if no available custom recovery for your device (like mine). Just install clearcache apk can be download at playstore.
s5 mods download: https://www.dropbox.com/s/o3w9oke17x43yej/s5 mod app.zip
I dont know who created the themed apk and who port the s5 apk's just tell me who you are so I can give you credit. I just found them on a korean site.
this mod can also be use to other samsung device with kitkat odexed/deodexed rom.
I tried the same file with my korean note2 e250l and its working.
Thank you,cám ơn bạn.nice app

here's an empty flash file, put whatever you want inside the appropriate folder and flash, in this case put the systemUI folder inside the /priv-app in the zip, you can delete the other empty folders but it's not needed.
This file can be used if you create your own deodexed rom.
Can anyone give me deodexed stock xperia z2 framework.jar and services.jar files?thanks
