Hi people, I am a Windows Phone user since last 3 years. I loved it a lot and I had quite an interest in these sort of gadgets.. So I decided to make beautiful apps for the platform!
Fast and smooth even on 512MB RAM. Tested on LUMIA 520!!
Strawberry Weather, the app shows you current weather, with next 5 days forecast in details (I mean quite the details).
You can let the GPS locate you or can set location manually. Can choose the units (Metric/Imperial)..
The places you search, sync with all your Windows 10 devices. There is no hassle of searching and favoriting places. You just search and they sync with devices. If you want to remove a place, you can. Simple!
The live tile updates hourly and if there are any upcoming alerts, a toast informs you!
Personalize with themes and icons!

Well, I think my app stands against other weather apps quite well! It is completely free!!
And that's not even the best part of it! I plan to update it frequently with better features and evolve into ultimate weather experience, it's just the beginning!

Would you like yo share how was your experience? What you liked and what you didn't? Any feature recommendations? It's my first app. With only 2 months of experience in coding. So, I'm a bit nervous how it performs for users and how do they like it! I'm glad that it loads the weather faster than Microsoft weather app though! Esp on lower end devices. Hoping to hear from you soon!

I must say I am quite satisfied with my app. I never got to test my app with other apps (I have MSN weather and Acuuweather just to test my app against), as it was a very hot summer where I live and every app would show similar temperature reading sans the difference of 1-2 degrees. Sky would be clear with a few coulds at the most! But yesterday was something else. I and one my friend had plans to go over to my another friend's home yesterday evening. And as usual, my app gave me a toast notification, saying it would rain in the evening. So, I checked both the apps, MSN weather and Accuweather too and surprisingly they showed clear sky and at the most it would go cloudy. But my app was showing, light rain/ moderate rain/ thunderstorm throughout the night. I chose to believe in my own app, and took umbrella, raincoat with me. And boy, it rained.. Followed by a thunderstorm. So much that we had to spend the whole night there at friend's home! Had I not believed, I would have catched cold or fever today!

Thats my story!
About 2 month ago i found a tablet for me! It was PoV Mobii! First impression was "WOW it is really better then china Iped stuff". Then i realise that this tablet is a good one according to its hardware specs but is really weak according to soft part of it! So after some time of normal usage i decided to make it better!

Oh! its simi folder app! You need to set up it with the icon from archive! So basicly create folder first then go to settings and there you will find option to change options of icon

Hi all. I just got my Lumia 920 today and am loving it so far (except for a yellow tint my hardware buttons have). I have never used any Windows phones before and had a couple of questions. Is there a decent app that will let me put a clock live tile on the homescreen? Also, does anyone know if you can put your own custom notification sounds on it? Thanks for any help anyone could offer.
You should be able to modify sounds in your Settings.
As for the LIVE Tile for a Clock? I would say, give it a Month and I am sure something will come out. Just recently we got the SDK (well, the general public). Also takes forever to get these App's accepted.

Plenty of Clock apps in the store. If they say "With a live tile" then they should have the ability to be pinned to start.
For anyone with the HTC, the HTC app may be pinned and will display a nice large digital time.
I just got my 920 Friday. I too want a live clock that has big numbers. But I tried every clock in the store and so far none have a 'live' tile. I'm assuming that some devs will make them soon now that they finally have the SDK. In fact the HTC clock states that 'due to limitations' it's not live so I expect it will probably be one of the first.
I'm hoping for the same with a calendar. The clock and the calendar are the two things I dislike about my phone. But give it a month or two.

I love this about my HTC 8X. I wish this app was available for other Windows Phones or something similar to it. Just like the other member pointed out, the SDK has only been out for a few weeks. Should start seeing some more apps popping up.

It's unfortunate that there have to be exclusive apps.
I mean, no one is going to buy an HTC phone just because it comes with a big clock live tile.
What's the benefit of exclusivity?
Why not help further the entire Windows Phone community?
I have the HTC 8X and I quite like the integrated clock / weather tile.
I would just just as happy with two, separate, tiles.

I was directed to http://www.wpcentral.com for an HTC 8X forum.
They seem to be a much better place to talk about Windows Phone.
I have also found that you can only add custom ringtones (not notifications).

Lock screen support?
- App is not full screen on the htc 8x
- Download size is a bit big for a weather app
- Is it still needed to kill the music to show a video in wp8?
otherwise the app is rock solid and has the same high quality as the wp7 version had.
Adding lockscreen support in the form of a few nice images reflecting the current weather conditions would be a great addition!

What's the version of the app you have, because it should appear full screen in BETA 4.0.0.
Looking very good so far. Seems to run quite well and looks good.

Well thanks alot its due to the 720P resolution, we will fix that thanks for your feedback much appreciated.

HTC 8X
apart from the black bar across the top when in the app, this so far runs very smooth and quick.
When viewing the radar and select 'labels' is this meant to do something? as nothing appears to change on screen.
I'm running it on my 920. With metro design everything is very smooth and works fine. There seems to be a very slight stuttering once in a while with the cloud animations. The transitions between the cities also seem to have some lag but only with the realistic theme and not the metro themes.
General functions are all working properly and showing up correctly.
The app crashed once during opening process but I mailed the automatically generated report already.
Any new beta builds on the way?

Enter app-->click on one of the days at the bottom-->Then start tapping on the screen in various location in the day view. All the info disappears and you're left with a blank screen with the weather animation running. I can swipe the screen left and right and the weather animation changes as if it were switching days.

Thanks, but this is not a bug, its a feature to enjoy the animations it will work by double tapping on the screen to have the animations full screen with full brightness.
We are going to release the app update next Friday, and an almost final BETA is updated to version 4.0.2 BETA#3, a fix for the charts misleading color will be implemented in the final release, thanks all for your feedback and we are waiting for the ones who didn't.
- Things we need to know:
App performance, Animations Performance, Animation quality, Live tile Quality, Live tile updates, Weather information accuracy and availability.
- And we are working on a Lock screen integration also that will be available in v 4.1, BETA will be available soon for those who already testing with us

The paid version has some improvement in the UI.
Awesome visual UI and effects. Really awesome!
If I get it right, this is only free for 24 hours. I think it's a pretty good share then, so we can decide that do we like that, and if yes we can buy this launcher later, as it will be updated, while this won't, because this is just an apk. Correct me if I'm wrong but there's nothing wrong with this. And this thread will be useless in 24 hours, and will be deleted. So no use of report anyway. But again I might be wrong

I'm happy to have found Themer and would like to fully replace all Go Products. I don't trust that chinese crap with its adware and random lockups any longer.
Questions I'd love to see answered:
1. How to enable animations like in Go Locker?
2. Advantages over all other Launchers?
3. Which is the best replacement for Go SMS?
4. Security advantages over Go Products (pretty self-explanatory given the fact that Go Products come from China)
Even though not everything might fit this forum, I'd like to have your experiences as detailed as possible.

Hi SecUpwN, let's see:
1. We've just started, lock screen integration will arrive in the future once we are more stable.
2. The biggest advantage is that we offer the only one-click theming experience. Other launchers do allow you to add themes, but then you'll always need other 3rd party apps. With Themer, everything is included.
3. Hard to say, that's personal preference, but there are many great alternatives out there.
4. Well Themer is being developed in Irvine, CA. We can assure you that we only release quality, non-risky features and updates. The only push notification we use is one to "show off" your theme, which helps spread awareness for Themer and also helps keep it free. It can also be turned off.

Having it, I could use Themer as an ultra-stylish locker and have a fresh home screen with my own apps on it. Aww man, maybe next year..
You can still add your own app shortcuts by longpressing the app in the drawer, then dragging it where you want on the home screen.
Same thing with any widget.
Of course, this likely ruins the aesthetic of the theme.
You can go to Menu > Advanced Settings > Unlock Widgets
And move things around to accommodate your additions.
Furthermore, you can just add an extra home screen and have your way with it!

I decided to ditch Themer as long as it doesn't provide basic features like NOVA launcher. It's sad, but without beging able to add icons to the desktop without destroying the theme, I don't want it. I'm using NOVA now - and it works just awesome.

We're trying our best to add in full icon pack support (as well as providing icons that are related to the theme), it hopefully shouldn't be much longer.
