Cannot Update via OTA Update. Error 7 - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi Guyz,
My Device Model is HTC Desire 826 dual sim.
I am having a sort of problem while updating OTA update. Here's the following error that i get when the phone boots into recovery mode....
"/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/system has been remounted R/W
reflash device to reenable ota updates
Error in @/cache/recovery/block.map(Error 7)"
The thing is I was trying to root my phone so i installed TWRP recovery, but before that I unlocked the phone's bootloader by HTC bootloader unlock. But the recovery's touch wasn't working so I reflashed the phone's stock recovery.
But now when I am trying to update through OTA update I am getting the above Error...
Please someone help me out.

Update with unlocked bootloader (help)

Hello, I am the owner Desire X, unfortunately after unlocking bootloader and install the official firmware is not updated, the phone downloads the update but the installation is necessary to restart (after restarting the phone boot into recovery menu). I tried to re-lock the bootloader but after restarting the phone does not load firmware (ends on HTC logo). Please advice how to install the official update without modifying the update-script.

Cannot boot into stock recovery

I received an OTA update, however, it is continually failing upon reboot. I discovered that I can't get my RAZR M into recovery.
I would flash TWRP recovery, however, I then would no longer receive OTA updates.
Is it possible that I may have 'locked' myself out of recovery?
My M is rooted; I've been able to get to recovery previously, though do I need to perm unroot my M?
Is it possible to re-flash stock recovery? If so, how?
My phone:
Moto Droid RAZR M
Stock ROM, rooted
Stock recovery
BusyBox 1.21.1
SuperSu
Voodoo OTA Rootkeeper
Having the same issue myself. I have an unlocked bootloader, and My phone is otherwise completely stock 4.1.2. I have 1 ota but when I try to isntall it it fails halfway through the install process in recovery. Now when I try to boot my phone into recovery all i get is an android with a red triangle. On top of that I can't get most fastboot commands to work, such as flashing a new boot image to replace the unlocked boot loader warning. Not really sure what to do any more. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Updating Vivo Y22 Funtouch OS - help!

Vivo have finally released a firmware update to the hamstrung Y22 phone.
I can't work out how to actually update though. There's no over the air update, and updating via recovery mode returns an installation aborted error.
The phone isn't rooted, because it can't be rooted.
How can this newbie update his phone please?

How to update OTA after Root?

Hi,
I have a Honor 7 PLK-TL01H of which:
- Bootloader is unlocked
- TWRP Recovery is installed
- SuperSU was installed from TWRP. Phone is rooted and working.
I would like to install OTA updates. How to do? I tried several things already but none is working:
- From SuperSU I unrooted the phone
- From Multi-Tools I flashed stock recovery to remove TWRP
Even then the update seems to be working but it says "update failed" when i'm close to 95%.
The only thing that i didn't try i to relock the bootloader.
I'm in this version EMUI4.0_PLK_TL01H_6.2.1 and would like to upgrade to 6.3.1 or 6.4.1.
Thanks for the support.
Hi,

I cant access recovery mode. I am planning on flashing the stock rom with Odin, is this the right thing to do? Please help.

Solved it by flashing stock fw, do I have to wait a week again to attempt root again?
