So this really weird icon showed up today out of the blue. Does anybody recognize it? I couldn't screenshot it since it only lasted on screen for about a full second, so I recreated it the best I could lol, seriously thought, anyone knows what it is?

I've never seen that in my life. Do you have any maps or driving apps on your phone besides Google maps? Do a virus scan if you're worried.

It resembles an icon to me that looks like one I got from google maps after their last update. If you search a restaurant location for example, you might get a notification asking you to help improve the information they have..

I get it to on most ROMs. Doesn't seem to affect anything, so it doesn't bother me.

@DannyDrama are you using a custom ROM? If so, which one (can you provide a link)? Not to insult your intelligence but are you absolutely sure you haven't installed an app to display the battery? It's quite easy to do this accidentally.... just check through downloaded apps in settings and also in Play Store to make sure. Otherwise it's probably a ROM feature.
Yeah I've looked everywhere, cached apps and everything. Nothing battery related installed anywhere. I even uninstalled Xposed and all modules.
I've installed a CM backup and it's gone now. Thanks for the input anyway

In the interest of thread completion, it was Widgetsoid. I haven't run that app in months which is why I didn't find it.

Android App
I too have seen this earlier. I didn't remember now but will get you know as soon as possible.
I have bug is with doubling notifications with communication apps, like Viber, Whatsapp, etc.
What this means: when somebody sends me two or more messages in a row I will always get two notifications, one from application itself, and the other from EMUI. And when I remove one, both would be gone.
The only way to stop this is to disable 'Show message preview' inside of the apps, but than you lose message preview in notifications bar, what means that you have to open the message in order to read it. And this was one really cool function which came with KitKat i think, and i would like to have it.
Anyway, does somebody also has this problem, and did you manage to solve it..? Tnx!
Yes to the problem and no to the solution. Also the font is too small and colour is very bad to make it readable!
All in all a UX fail.....

I was wondering if anyone is having the same troubles as me. When I use any messaging app other than the stock LG one a bunch of the text messages show up in the wrong order and a lot of them just disappear. Here are some pictures of it happening

I am using textra right now and since I started using it comes through fine. I figured it might be AT&Ts new advanced messaging sytem in combination with LGs horrendous texting app.

Anyone know why this is? Not to mention my device is still backing up data, just not nearly as much as when I was using my pixel.
