Hi
I have put TWRP n my phone but when i flash a new rom i need patch the boot.img.
I want to know what i need make to reverse this?
I try the cofface twrp and work good for flash a zip rom, no need modify the boot.img.
In OTA dont work
I want reverse for original form. Without twrp.
Is possible?
Thanks a lot!
Download your version of ROM, extract the recovery.img and flash in using fastboot

Hello guys,
Today i am going to unlock (Official way) my device and going to try AOSP 5.1.1 V4.
My doubt is
1) If i want to revert back to Miui, If i use fastboot rom and flash full rom, will this make my bootloader locked again.
2) If i flash miui recovery rom using twrp without modified boot.img and i dont want twrp and revert back to default miui recovery how to do so.....
3) If i change to miui recovery after flashing recovery rom with twrp do i again need to flash modified boot.img.
I suggest to make full recovery image of original miui. After clean install with full wipe i had problems with unlocking phone.

1) Yes
2) You cant, you will need TWRP, modded boot.img & MIUI ROM else it will bootloop
3) Yes
Ok , So I finally was able to unlock my bootloader after getting that 50 % error, I thought that I'd flash miui 8 , so I downloaded the rom from official mi website and flashed it with twrp but for some reason I got stuck in a bootloop. I dont want to download fastboot rom as it takes a lot of time due to slow internet, so could anyone tell me how can i successfully flash a rom from twrp. I've got bot miui 8 chinese developer rom and global beta rom downloaded.
You need patched boot for normal twrp or u must use cofface twrp to flash the rom.
You cant flash stock rom via twrp without patched boot.img
And if you are flashing marshmallow rom u must know that the bootloader will lock itself again.
Why not just flash the miui.eu version? No boot image mess..

where can I find a patched boot.img for latest chinese developer rom.Thanx for the fast reply.
Just use cofface recovery for stock roms:

I think that the Alca recovery do the same, but I haven't test it yet

I accidently upgraded my phone to Android 10 11.0.14 ( prehaps ). I want to install TWRP on this phone, and I attempted to install it without flashing the boot img, and it caused to entirely be bricked and stuck on fastboot, and I did also attempt to change the slot, but ****** off. I tried using MiFlash, ****** off, reinstall, ****** off. I still kept my OnePlus rom and I succeed to install and normally use it, and it still remained TWRP. I installed the stock rom for it cuz Oxygen is so unstable, and I did, but the TWRP is lost. I reinstalled it, but it bricked, again. I entered TWRP, wipe all data, and enter again, but lost TWRP. I figured that I did miss flashing boot img, thanks to a thread I accidently read. And I also figured how stupid I was when I just did upgraded my phone to the latest version, and there is no boot img compatible to that version, and I did searched entire internet for it. I didnt try to flash the boot img of the early version cuz I am afraid it bricked again cuz of the compatibility. So when will I expect for a boot img file to flash TWRP and when can I download and use it? Or technically I dont need that boot img file and just simply change the slot and flash it? Ty.
try this boot img, its compatible with android 10 also twrp is already installed in the boot img.
https://sourceforge.net/projects/mi...HR_Q-v2.2-laurel_sprout-official.img/download (its for official android 10 rom)
then flash whatever rom you like then flash this zip, it will install shrp recover

Hang on. What do you mean by TWRP is already installed ? Does it mean that boot img file already contained TWRP or I do need to install it as a boot img to get the phone boot and work normally?
And btw, is installing SHRP Recovery an opinion or a must?

the boot img already contain twrp, and the boot img should be able to boot your rom (stock android 10) and no shrp is not a must you can use any recovery you like, but if you want to keep your recovery after installing a rom you have to install the recovery installer zip

I was also stuck like this so i flashed that boot img rebooted and everything came back.
Does anyone have boot image for RMX3300 A.19 or fireware download link for rmx3300_11_a.19?
thanks
I'm looking too. Only found it at Halab Tech Support. It's not free, unfortunately I can't cope with the payment methods via PayPal. Otherwise I would have already tried to extract the boot.img
here is the magisk patched boot image for RMX3300 chinese firmware C.19
i only have this version
backup the stock boot.img before flashing
and dont forget to flash vbmeta.img before magisk.img
Very nice thank you.
However, my question is how do I backup my boot.img without root?
I have version A.19. If I can make a backup without root, I could patch the boot.img from the backup and install it via Magisk.
Or am I wrong?
Just how to backup without root.....?
