Hello Im from Argentine.
I want to buy this phone, but what I read does not support 4G Argentine (Band 4 or 28)
need to have the band 4 (1700/2100)
thanks for the support
I read somewhere there are 3 versions and one of them supports band 4.
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Orig..._6&btsid=d7bfdf1b-2978-4ad7-a543-7b49bce90205
I ordered mine from here a few days ago and seller says it supports band 4.
Worst case there is a guide on xda to unlock all bands.
Apparently it does. Great news.

Apparently so for T-Mobile USA. Of course it should be set to 4G preferred also. I haven't tried it but click the link and try it yourself. I guess you need the 4G APN settings for your carrier of course.

Yes, 2G is just fine.
If you happen to live in one of the very few markets that TMO has migrated to 1900 MHz HSPA+ coverage, then 3G/4G will work. This is an incredibly small part of the country today however, so I couldn't count on it.
Always check radio band. Make sure if you want tmobile 3G its 1700/2100 go to gsmarena.com and check phone specs. AT&T 4g is 1900/2100. Correct me if im wrong just trying to be helpful.
I agree. 2G works. Just like gamscan said, also hearing that data roaming with AT&T is going to be available in certain markets starting this summer.
Wonder if the TITAN 2 works with tmobile 3G ?

Why not just use Straight Talk and use 4G on the Titan II? Unless you have a contract with T-mo.

Not having HSPA+ is the only reason I went with the TMO version rather than the 64 GB developer edition.
Dumped this from the nexus 5 factory image, they're img files. They're from google's dev site so no worries. The files are from the GSM/LTE varet of hammerhead.

Wait, maybe I'm the one confused?
There are two models, D820 and D801. Both have LTE, but different bands.
I THINK their radio might be different, but I'm not sure. If Google has only one available for download, they use the same radio (which sounds pretty strange to me).
Can someone clarify all this?

Can you dump the partition table pls?
it's as easy as executing this command in recovery(tested in CWM but TWRP should work, too):
Code:

I would if i could, i dont have the device myself sadly, sorry ):
These images are on the google website and it appears to be the same radio for each device. That might explain the 42MB radio size...

Opps, I pressed the wrong button.
Ment D820 and D821.
Does that all mean that eventually we will be able to use LTE in Europe with D820?
Hi guys!
I have D820 but i live in Brazil (South America), and in my device 4G LTE doesn't work here.
Tried to change the modem to D821 and 4G doesn't work yet...i think the diference is on the chip not on baseband.
Somebody knows a trick or hack or whatever to make my 4G LTE work?

What is your carrier and APN? If I'm not mistaken that has to do with most of the LTE issues.. I know this from the N4. I'm on T-Mobile.

Maybe bro...but when i was using LG G2 and after Galaxy S4, the APN was the same (zap.vivo.com.br). I tried to enable LTE only under *#*#4636#*#* menu, but the signal drop and doesn`t return.
Maybe something is wrong...but don`t know what.

Verizon One Max on T-Mobile LTE?
I'm curious about this as well.
HTC's spec page for the HTC One max lists "Verizon: 700/AWS MHz" under Network.
I don't know a lot about AWS, but does this indicate hardware capability of our phone?

So does that mean it's capable but Verizon hasn't enabled it? I'm not sure how I'd tell the difference on my end. My speeds are hit and miss in the Chicago area, but I figure that could be just because of the population density.

There's an AWS thread in the Verizon S4 section where people are reporting where they are getting band 4 lte. You can check there to see if anyone from Chicago has AWS. There's also instructions on how to check if your on band 4, you can probably check it the same way on this phone.

Actually the Samsung method doesn't work for us. It relies on a code that is specific to Samsung (*#0011# ). I tried *#*#4636#*#* but it did not seem to do anything on my One max unfortunately.

There is a way to do it on Verizon with script manager I believe.
Installed the new radio only on my Verizon Max. Can't say it is particularly faster ( based on speed tests). It keeps starting at 60 Mbps for upload then hangs and drops to about 5 Mbps final. Maybe its my firewall or any other number of protective mods I have going on my Max.

The *#*#4636#*#* works if you make the edits in build.prop Then you can make the change that enables the different networks.

The t-mobile one is 11
Then save the file, and reboot your device.

I have gotten 4g LTE with this method I guess...I never did get the one value with the "sku id" (never could find it) so I downloaded an app from the play store called Network and just changed it, I would get LTE for about an hour then it would just crap out so I just use 3G and HSPA with the 1900 band.
I would be interested in knowing how to enable this. big red just turned on the 4g in my area with in the last year. so i am curious if they used a newer style tower capable of the band 4 or not,

I understand that I'll be able to use my Verizon Note 2 on T-Mobile with HSPA+, but not LTE.
Would it be possible for me to order a replacment antenna meant for a T-Mobile Note 2 and install it in my Verizon model?
Then would flashing a T-Mobile radio to access their GSM bands be feasible?

The simple answer is no. Flashing a t-mobile modem 2ill more than likely drop your imei and baseband. Our phone does have GSM capabilities but I do not believe it has the same band.
I have, however, heard of acheiving 4g..but I have personally not done so
