Well, hey guys.. I have successfully flashed Dolby Atmos with Flashfire to my Micromax Bolt Q370 and everything seems to work good. But I played a 5.1 DTS Blue ray Movie and doesn't seems like surround sound actually working. What I can hear is only 2 channel stereo output to my Sony XB headphone. That movie sounds surround at my new Lenovo Vibe K5. Whats wrong? Is it a hardware issue that my Micromax phone lacks ?
Well, in a phone with Dolby Atmos native the "virtualization" really works, but when it is a "mod" I can't say if will works...
Some of websites refer Nikel to have hi-res audio, but when I check it out with Poweramp, there is no option of using hi-res output. Is there really hi-res audio output for Nikel?

I'm not sure about the exact bit rate but i use the 'Mi sound enhancer' under sound settings and over headphones the sound quality is great. It's actually better than my previous phone Galaxy S7 which was the weakest area of that phone.

You must use alpha build 703 to have 24 bit audio output with AOSP rom (stock MIUI rom doesn't support it).
Hi,
i'm searching for an app that can record the internal sound output (what you hear). i only found apps that record the mic output or apps that record video and audio. i only need it for audio because on some old devices video/audio-recording doesn't work (i use scr). i have a xperia z3 (android 6.0) and a xperia tablet z (android 5.0) and both are rooted.
Hello, i want to know which of the popular roms support the inbuilt audio dac in lenovo z2 plus. Currently the audio dac only fires in AIMP and VLC player. Want to change to custom rom as the default rom is too underdeveloped. Please help.
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has managed to get Audio Passthrough working. So if you've got a movie file which has DTS or Dolby Digital sound, and you connect your phone with a HDMI dongle to your Audio receiver which can process DTS or Dolby Digital, to actually get surround sound out of it.
I've tried VLC and MX player, none worked. If I connect the exact same equipment to my laptop, it does work. So it must be either the video apps or the phone. I've tried multiple settings in the apps (of course I've enabled audio passthrough), didn't change anything.
Any help on this?
Thanks!

Alright but that's no surround sound. You're using a DAC which outputs stereo sound to a 3.5mm jack and a stereo headphones ...
I asking same question, do you find the solution now? I want to use smartphone to do audio passthrough to amplifier
