Exempt from greenify hibernation - Greenify

How do I ensure that greenify doesn’t hibernate certain apps?
How can I exclude certain apps.

Simple, do not add them to the list of apps to be hibernated.
On installation, Greenify will not have any app listed for hibernation. You have to choose and add them manually.
In case you want to remove an app which is already hibernated, open Greenify, click and highlight the app which you want to remove, then click the three dot menu at the top, 'degreenify the selected app' will be one of the options in the drop down menu, choose it and you are done. If it is a system app, it may be better if you reboot after degreenifying.

[Q] Still hibernating non-selected app

I have installed "Notification Toogle" and was be behaving correct before installing Greenify.
After the install, I did not hibernate it, but seems to be still hibernating the app, because the notification battery level keeps frozen until interact with Notification Toogle again. It doesn't appear in the hibernated or pending apps list.
Any ideas?
Which system apps are you hibernating?
try to dehiberbate that sys application
and i think greenify itself doesent hibernate non selected application
or u could have hibernate it with linked application

[Q] Cannot auto hibernate Facebook app?

Hi, I am running Greenify and long story short, it will refuse to auto hibernate the Facebook app no matter what. Yes, root is enabled, yes, other app auto hibernates fine, and yes, manually hibernating Facebook does work. But if I leave it alone to auto hibernate then it will not do so. Any ideas? This problem is driving me insane because Facebook is super battery consuming without Greenify Thanks!
OK so after some investigation using SuperSU I realized it's not Greenify that failed to kill those apps, but it's that they turned themselves back on! The apps in question here are Facebook and FB Messenger. How can I deal with this? Please help me, it's driving me nuts being unable to find out why.
Some other apps might waking them up. Choose the option from experimental features "wakeup tracker & cut off" and when you select Facebook or messenger app a scissors will come up at action bar. From there you can stop the apps that wakes fb and messenger. If the scissors won't come up, wait for a few hours, it might need some time to collect info.

If you are using Android Marshmallow, then go settings -> Apps -> click on gear icon on top right -> draw over other apps -> change config for facebook and messenger to yes...or any other apps you want.
there...you are done.
Now greenify can auto hibernate .

I just updated LG G3 to Android 6 last night. This is just the info I was looking for. The instructions were not quite as you described. However FB and messenger were both No, so changed to Yes.

Hello, I was having the same issues with fb and messenger so I finally uninstalled them and started using the mobile browser version of fb. It lacks some features so I would prefer the app. How well would "change config for facebook and messenger to yes...or any other apps you want." work for saving battery if hibernated vs. just using the mobile browser versions?
Also, although this helps to make them hibernate as needed, won't they still wake up on their own?

Which apps to whitelist for aggressive doze?

Hey guys. I used to use aggressive doze, but it seemed like I was having a problem getting alarm/timer notifications. To make sure I don't miss important notifications are there other services I need to be sure to whitelist besides the clock app, phone app, etc.?

Normally you don't have to whitelist anything except those apps from which you need notifications. Google Play Services which is required for notifications, is already whitelisted.
Apps which are made compatible to MM's Doze function need not specifically be whitelisted. So even the phone app and clock app need not be whitelisted if they are Google's. Only third party apps which have not been made compatible (from which you need notifications) need to be whitelisted.
I've noticed that if you navigate with the screen off, whatever app you are using to navigate will get Dozed until you wake the device, so I'd whitelist whatever navigation app you use if you navigate with your screen off. Otherwise, as tnsmani said, I haven't found a good reason to whitelist any other apps.

Yes, the whitelist option isn't working properly. It doesn't matter which 3rd party app you are trying to be in a whitelist, it won't show any notification until you turn your screen ON.

[Feature Request] Don't show warnings mode

@oasisfeng
Sir,
Everytime I select a system app to greenify,It shows a pop up 'insist".
Its really horrible and kills my time and charge while greenifying a system app.
Can u add this feature that I mentioned on headline?
Thanks
The warning is essentially necessary to remind you about the risk of greenifying system apps, because it might be dangerous.
I'll remove this warning for bloatware apps, which are the most of system apps that you might consider greenifying.

Ads app to Task Manager whitelist or exclude from getting closed.

Hi,
I'm using snapdragon version of Note 4. I'm wondering if there's a way to add app to Task Manager whitelist or exclude from getting closed.
Condition is, the app I need to exclude is a floating icon on UI and doesn't show up in recent items however the floating app gets closed when I do the "Clean all".
You can open recents and swipe down an app and press the lock button. Also go to battery settings> manage apps battery usage> select app> no restrictions.
