I want to keep this thread short.
So lets get to work.
Everything here is about Huawei y-625xx phones.
Don't try this on any other phone or u gonna get ur phone bricked.
I will not be responsible if anything happens to ur phone.
This things works perfectly as it was tested by many user's.
I don't have this phone,my cousin does and I did it for him.
So it should work for u too.
ROOT
Get the latest kingroot app from here
Turn on data
click root
wait until it reboots ur phone and shows its rooted.
U can easily root using '360 root app' now!
And its completely safe
See reply #50 for details
RECOVERY
here's a video tutorial from The Best about installing T.W.R.P on y-625.
Here's the steps that r shown in this video.
Written by xda member @AkaruiTenshi
First of all, you will need to install abd and fastboot drivers if you're on a windows pc, if you use linux, just install abd and fastboot packages and dependencies for your distro.Connect the phone in the computer using an usb cable, and activate the debug in the phoneNext step, on windows open the command line...
In linux, just open the terminalNow call the abd, just type this (whitout quotes):
"abd -start-server"
Wait a little bit, in your phone will apear a mensage to validare the abd acess to the phone, just say yes...Again in the terminal or command line,
type:"abd reboot bootloader"(do not wait until the phone reboot).
type
"fastboot boot recovery.img".
After this, the twrp will boot in your phone, without installation (if you install the twrp, your warranty is void),
you can use twrp for backup your stock rom for exemple...
If you want to install the twrp, just change the last comand to:
"fastboot flash recovery recovery.img"
Method two---
Simply grab flashify or mobile uncle tool app and flash the recovery.img with those.
These 2 app needs root access.
ROMS
Sorry guys.
No luck for rom yet.
But my friend is trying to port Carbon kk on this device.

Yep. Our device ins't very popular hence the low user activity here :\ but I've seen people asking for ROMs/EMUI updates.
Hope your friend continues development! Fingers crossed!
Btw I have a y625-U51 firmware. I'm not exactly sure what is with the "Uxx" versions.

I have asked Huawei support for a simmilar question here's the reply:
"...Given that your device is manufactured for Bulgaria, you may refer to http://consumer.huawei.com/bg/support/index.htm to select your country region of support to be assisted accordingly.
Kindly be inform that Huawei strongly do not suggest the customers to download upgrade from a different region as it will affect the device performance and void the warranty. "

I am stuck my phone. It does not proceed beyond the initial screen after normal boot and does not show adb interface in the device mmanager of my laptop. When I boot into Safe Mode, it does show adb interface in the device manager of my laptop, however, adb on command prompt does not show any device.
This indicates adb interface does not establish for a normal boot and for Safe mode device is not recognised. I can get into recovery and have tried flashing boot.img through update.zip, however, it returns with Installation abroted message. Here, it seems bootlogger is locked.
I have complete romdump of my phone with boot.img and recovery.img.
Please help!!!

Hey people.
I rooted my ANDROID HTC ONE from T mobile, using a guide I found on here and the all in one toolkit.
I am using TWRP newest 2.5.0.0, I can access the bootloader and recovery, and have been sat here now looking for answers for about 5 hours.
It freezes on the HTC quietly brilliant screen.
Also says that there is no OS installed.
I am looking for help via TEAMVIEWER, or someway to get my phone working.
If you need more information please let me now ASAP so I can give it you.
UPDATE: Okay people I successfully installed the XenonHD ROM and it is now stuck in bootloop i have tried clearing the cache and it doesn't do anything, this is the only ROM that is currently working.
I have searched the net searched the post and still nothing.
I am almost got my phone back guys and am willing to DONATE or repay the favour via modding something through XBOX or whatever I can.
Please contact me soon as possible.
I am still on TEAMVIEWER.
Changed my recovery to ClockWorkMod Touch.
Still need help?

There have been a lot of posts on similar issues. You can "sideload" a ROM via ADB commands from your computer. If you can get into recovery, your phone can be fixed. I haven't done this myself (still stock), but do a search on google or xda on sideloading a ROM from ADB.

Did you clear the cache? Also, I've seen some people have to format the partitions.
EDIT: But formatting does not seem to be needed if you sideloaded successfully.

You have to be careful with No o.s installed .
Normally if u reboot when u see that you'll brick.
Without a o.s you have no bootloader..
I bricked my s3 and had to jtag it when it said no o.s I rebooted and black blank screen nothing.
I've had this happen also when choosing format system and format data /media some reason it botches the boot up .
My only fix was to sideload a rom or wipe factory and restore a nandroid .

my recomendation is that you get s -off and supercid asap so next time you run into a similar problem you can just install any ruu(note only do this if your phone has no official ruu) and work it out from there.

What you need to do is this exactly .
Dload a rom on pc reboot recovery on phone first .IMORTANT FIRST FORMAT SYSTEM.
Then when that's done choose factory reset.
Rename the rom to Rom.zip or anything you want but make sure it says.zip
Sometimes sideload won't work if roms not renamed , that's mentioned in another thread about sideloading.
Then sideload the rom
Let it load and install .
When it reboots itl take a while .
I just did this to my HTC one the other day after I got stuck after formating data media .

Yeah my phone is currently working now, but I have no play store nor do I now if my phone is rooted.
I have a custom ROM on it XenonHD. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2290785
That one.
Just currently trying to get to grips on how to work it and that.
I can't download the playstore because it says it is currently installed but it is nowhere to be seen.
I have an Samsung galaxy trend plus GT-7580, Europian version. (sorry my english) and I want it to be rooted. Is there any guide to how to root this phone?
I have an GT-7580 galaxy trend plus, european too.
I confirm root with Kingo root: easy, functional and secure!
Search kingo root, download the windows program, active the "USB Debugging" on the developpers mode (activate this menu in Setting -> More -> About Device -> 5 or 6 clicks at BUILD NUMBER), install and run the program with the phone connected....et voilà!

But wasn't that program banned from xda, because it install some nasty malware?
I used VRoot to root mine. Found out about it randomly (someone said they managed to root a phone with it) and, luckily, it was compatible with the S7580 as well.
I'm waiting for some custom roms now.

I used the vroot. It seem legit. And I strip off alot of bloatware. plus I removed the vroot own su with the normal su.
Same here. I'm not sure how much of the rumors were true (about vRoot being malware and all that), but it helped me a bunch when there were no other alternatives. The support for S7580 is very limited at the moment and it was difficult to find even a way to root it.
All in all, I'm happy with it. Same as you HenryStar, I removed a bunch of stock crap I wasn't using and replaced the chinese SU app with SuperSU. So far so good; can't wait for people to start taking an interest in this phone so we can have some alternatives to the stock rom.
By the way, did you manage to install any recovery on it?
i have that phone to...lets hope that they will make a treath for trend plus..lets see...so we rooted the phone..wath did u make overclock?? or something to him?
I don't usually overclock my phones. Besides, the S7580 is rather snappy and I'm not sure the minimal improvement is worth the extra stress on the CPU.
Still waiting and hoping for a separate section for it.
Sorry if I was late with my answer and no, I tried to install custom recovery. I gonna test this so I can get an custom recovery on this phone in the futher.

Extract recovery img:
For ADB:
connect phone via usb(make sure usb debugging is connected).
Start ADB
from windows:
Click Start
Run -> Cmd.exe
type "adb shell"(without quotations)
from ubuntu:
Press Ctrl+alt+t(or open the terminal)
type "./adb shell"(without quotations)
when in the shell type "su"(without quotations)
On your phone a dialogue window will appear asking for permission to grant superuser. Click yes!!
now type "cat /proc/mtd"(without quotations)
A list of partitions(or w/e they are) should appear, you're looking for the one called "recovery". Mine is labeled mt8, I assume this is the same for you, but I could be wrong. For your phone's sake let's just make sure we're certain!!!
now in the shell type:
dd if=/dev/mtd/mtd8 of=/sdcard/recovery.img
your recovery.img should now be on the root of your sdcard

Listen : I'm trying to help, and I don't owe you anything. So calm down.
I don't know anything about Windows 10, and I know even less what OS *you* use, the state of your phone (except what *you* told), or anything.
What I can tell you however is that I managed to flash those .img files using fastboot and/or adb (I don't remember which one) from my Linux computer (OpenSUSE LEAP 42.1, but that shouldn't matter), and it worked. Make what you want of it, but I'm happy with what I got.

So now each time I try to boot my phone it is so slow. Like I have to wait 5 minutes to boot up.
Already did a factory wipe from the phone and still lags, when someone calls me on whatsapp my phone freezes....
Yes, I enabled developer mode, enable usb debugging, did unlock bootlader and my windows 10 doesn't have issues with detecting the driver of the phone (no yellow sing on devices).
Any help?
Guys, stop unlocking and rooting this phone,no benefits at all for doing this, only u will get inconvenience issue and problems.keep it official
My suggestion for u to unroot and block the bootloader again

Wait, you're saying your phone freeze when it's in a brand new state ? If so try flashing a different update with HWOTA8.
If it keeps doing that you might have a faulty phone. I yet to have a single freeze on mine.

I'm on XDA daily and I haven't rooted or unlocked a boot loader in many, many years!
There are many good reasons to be here... primarily because more knowledgeable people are here to help with issues other than rooting and ROM's.

Gotta explain me how you were helping here, the OP was asking for help to root the phone and you go like : "Don't root it s*cks, slows the phone down, etc..." while everything you said is utter bullsh*t.
I've rooted/flashed cROMs on basically every phone I've owned and never had a single drawback except for Samsung Pay which is an invalid argument for the M10.

in my opinion another thing u can do is to restore complete firmware which is already backup by other people and also me. i hope u have a twrp so restore complete firmware (twrp backup) according to your version.
