Does anybody know I to do the trick?
I have doze activated (aggressive) and whenever I receive a WhatsApp message it only shows the LED blinking.
Since my phone is usually either in my pocket or inside an opaque cover, the LED blinking is not practical for me. I would like to combine doze with vibrating notifications.

my trackball light keeps turning on and off, even in standby mode... is there a way to turn it off? or is this normal with the phone?
Hi,
The flashing trackball means you've had a message, email or a missed call. You get a little icon in the top left of your screen with a red squiggle on it. When you've turned your phone on, put your finger at the top of the screen and sweep downwards and your notification screen will appear. This should tell you what event, message or call you've missed, or is waiting for you.
Hope this helps. It is a bit confusing at first.
Sometimes, even after I've completed reading all my unread texts/checked missed calls list, the trackball remains flashing for a period of time (like say 10 minutes) and then stops flashing.
Only way to stop it it so bring down the notifications panel and hit 'clear notifications'.
Its a bug.
my mate with an orange one had this, but it turns out he had set up the MAIL application (NOT Gmail) for his hotmail and turned notifications off, so it flashed, but no top bar notification or sound was played.....

I would actually love the option to have the trackball light to pulse indefinitely until notifications are cleared. I reckon its damned sexy!
Just a shame it can't do multi-coloured light :<
Mine will keep blinking until i take down the notifications panel, even tough its clear and i.e message is read. But it "cures" the blinking instantly.
Mine is doing the same thing, blinking for roughly 10mins but dissapears if open and close notifications even if blank.
Is this a bug only in the Orange rom ?

When i get a message from ping or whatsapp or even sms message through handcent. the green LED notifier doesnt flash on the top.
Instead i have to first wake the screen up and then turn it off then the LED blinks green.
Is there anyway to fix this? i have a work around with handcent atm using the popup and setting a screen sleep time of 10s. but when i receive a message from ping or whatsapp, i would only hear it for the first time and after that nothing until i turn the screen on.

I got my GS 3 2 days ago and i got 2 little problems.
one is i cant use lightflow coz when i active it talkback active too and thats anoying. i tried disable scripts and all but nothing.
and the other one is i dont want my phone to vibrate when, after a notification, i pick it up.
anyone can help me?

light flow: go to settings/accessibility and disable light flow service
vibration: go to settings/move and disable smart alert

well disable accessibility works but now i got another problem. after getting a notify led flash correctly, i read the sms or mail, switch screen off and the led keeps flashing with the color of the last notify. any idea?
So i recently purchased a Galaxy S6 and i find it really annoying at night or any time if my phone's Blue LED just randomly turns on for a random app or game notification.
I've gone through the settings but it doesn't allow much free control because the two switches that allow for the LED to turn on it comes with:
Led will turn on for: Calls, Charging, Message, Notification etc
I just want it for charging.
Anyone know how do to this?

Manual says:
"Notification Light
The notification light informs you about battery status and some other events. For example, a flashing white light means there is a new message or a missed call. The notification light is enabled by default but can be disabled manually."
The problem is, that notification light setting is enabled, but only battery notification light is working. I tried custom app -s ( LedBlinker, LightFlow) and they also won't enable any missing call/message light? The light is working, when testing it with Led Tester, all colors are OK.
How to fix it?
Edit: Turned out, that ExDialer function "Replace Missed Call Notification" was the reason. I will discuss with eExDialer developer about this issue.
I have the same problem of no LED blinking.
I have no ExDialer installed.
For exemple TypeApp is rightly set with LED notification, but nothing is working.
Do you have an idea?
