I have an Android Galaxy S5 that keeps defaulting to some background USB service on my Android, in my Toyota, I would like to keep it to bluetooth OR use the USB but have the music player on my Android play through a foreground music player.

Hi all,
I do have an unused Xperia X8 which would perfectly fit as an extension for my HiFi.
Now I am searching for a software which makes this possible
The X8 should be plugged to the HiFi using a normal stereo jack and should provide the music to the HiFi.
The music should be stored on a network share or/and on the MicroSD card - and in some rare cases on some cloud service.
To find a player which is supporting these things is not a problem - but I do not want to get up every now and then to change music or to skip to the next track or change my playlist.
We do have other Android devices lying around as well incl. a tablet
So is there a way to control another Android Device which acts as a music player - from another Android device or PC to change music, to skip songs and so on ?!
If you are on PC - that is easy - you get a Web Interface for nearly every piece of software but hey - what about the android eco system - how they play together ?!
no ideas to get my old unused android usable again as audio hub for my hifi ?!
thanks
Hi, I often have the phone connected to the tower, and I let the tracks on Spotify through minijack output. The huge request, if there is a program through which a computer could control Spotify on your phone via wifi? (change tracks, etc.)
It is kind of weird thing I am trying to do but I am sure it is not impossible. Just looking for ways if anybody has already tried before might save my time and afforts.
At work I've PC with internet but without bluetooth, and a Galaxy S3 without data plan! I want to play music (online music streaming sites) on my PC, have that music (from audio out jack on PC) to Galaxy S3 (hope it will go to mic in if I use male to male aux cable?) and then an App that sends that incoming music stream to bluetooth audio output of GS3 and then listen to it on my sony stereo bluetooth headset!
Sounds odd right? The thing is I can not buy & plug in bluetooth dongle to my work PC and I can not afford the data plan as of now.
So looking forward to all ideas!
Thanks.
First I will explain my set-up:
- Galaxy S 3 Intl. with CM11 snapshot
- USB Audio Patcher (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=48966264&postcount=334)
- Fiio E07K with a USB OTG cable
Now I use this for my music (I use Poweramp as music player). Unfortunately, I can not really use this on-the-go because if the USB connector moves around, Poweramp (or android itself?) thinks the DAC disconnected and stops playing music (and if I press play, it will play it through the speakers if I don't reconnect the DAC).
The DAC itself isn't actually disconnected though. I am wondering if I can force music to always play through USB, regardless if Android thinks the cable is attached or not.
I also seem to have a problem where sometimes it makes crackling noises. Could this be because of an unstable connection too? Most of the time, when I reconnect the cable it's fine again.
1) it keeps overwriting my bluetooth ( i need the charging from the cable)
2) it dodsn't allow me to play from my rocket player but uses some system srevice that indexes my music in the background?
How do I get rocket player and google maps to speak through my USB cord,OR my bluetooth?
