Applications on SD?

If I have some games that I moved to my SD-Card, and I install a new rom, cleaning data/cache, will the games still be accessible?

i thought if the phone was rooted and backed up using titanium backup that you could restore all your apps+data

It can be restored via my backup root or titanium backup (I use backup root before). But for his problem, his system file is deleted, only apps are in sd. Unless you fully backup via backup root, then it will work after it restored

*sigh* You're wrong, again.
Titanium backup is free, and probably better than everything else.
It has a paid extension which adds stuff like hypershell and synching.
i would recommend you use ASTRO file manager and create a backup of apps and games on SD card. After flashing new ROM, you just need to reinstall apps and games from your SD card backup data.
To know how to create backup data and download Astro file manager checkout this link http://goo.gl/29ykK

how can i unlock bootloader on gnex without erasing data

i want to use titanium backup but i need root i tryed the root without unlock but dont work for me and i want backup cause i have games like fifa 2012 which are like 2gb that i wanna back up the whole 2gb file
Use adb backup then restore using titanium? Titanium now does extracting/restoring from an adb backup. That is your best shot i guess

Are you sure you had it installed when you did your backup? Just download it again from play store
I did and plastered says its installed
The screenshots the pro
I downloaded the basic version and its working
Strange?

The app from your screenshot is just a Key to unlock a pro version of an app. You need an actual app for this to work. After installing the basic version it was unlocked by the key into the pro version.
If you came back from an AOSP rom, look in /0 for a TitaniumBackup folder, which will have anything that you backed up while on the AOSP rom.

What exactly is EFS? I have rooted all of my phones for like 6 years and have never seen EFS mentioned. Just curious?

When you create a backup in your custom recovery you have the option of checking off the partitions you want to back up. Such as system, cache, data, etc...one of the options usually the last one is efs. The first thing i do with every phone i root is back up the efs by it self. If you ever have issues with your imei, efs restore will most of the time fix it. It contains your imei info. Very important.
I have a problem with my Note 5 (N920C). I flashed my phone with official rom without backing up the efs files. And the GSM Network is gone now. Can this tool help me to restore the efs file ? any idea ? Thanks

Because you can't root your phone as yet I believe you cannot use Titanium backup to backup your apps and app data (someone correct me if I am wrong), you can try the free backup app called Helium, you can find Helium on the play store.
I have never used the program before so make sure to test it out first and make sure it works as it claims before wiping.
Another thing to note is that it will require PC software which can be downloaded from clockworkmod.com for Windows Linux and Mac.
Thank you , yeah if i could use titanium backup it would be so easy
I'll try that Helium thanks
