Turned my tablet off today. All seemed fine with it. Had plenty of battery. Tried turning on tablet 30 mins later. And is unresponsive. Won't turn on, will not vibrate, tried pressing red reset button etc. Nothing at all. What can I do is it completely dead? May have to see if Sony will repair it buy I believe it is out of warranty and also its unlocked and rooted currently. Thanks for any help.

Any update on this? I've got the exact same issue. Did OTA update, plenty of charge, everything was successful. Turned the tablet off. Next morning its unresponsive.
I tried mine off 10 mins later turned it on. Dead. Sent it back they repaired it took about a week. They changed the main board and battery. Got it back and it had a new imei was no longer unlocked so had to send it back to get unlocked. Got it back again after a week. All good. Most admit I've had it back about 4 or 5 days used it for about 20mins. Haven't even restored all my stuff back. Can't be arsed with it lol. Might just sell it dunno.

Try a reset or reflash the rom your using. Ice hasn't been released yet officially for the note so you must be on one of the leaks. Try reflashing

Wow that's a new one in me. I thought read someplace that certain roms react this way if the battery get to low and you have to go into cwm and do a cache wipe I think. Sorry that all I got .

If phone is turning off in download mode I doubt it is the ROM installed. Have you tried swapping batteries?
Also the issue seems to ONLY HAPPEN WHEN MOVING THE PHONE! SO I dont think Its a doftware issue. I tried changing battries same issue. It stayed on all NIGHT last night. Then when I go to touch it this morning it restarts.

How about if you leave the charger plugged in? Hopefully you can get the opportunity to get it restored to stock and have it exchanged under warranty.
Edit: stuck power button maybe?

It does it with charger too. But ONLY really does it while moving it
I CANT get it to even turn on now, It will viberate and show samsung and then shut off
I can get it into download mode for a sec and it will flash and turn off
The power button got mashed a little too hard.
If its store bought, its a warranty issue.
If its Craigslist or ebay you have to pull the whole thing apart and reseat the silver button in the case correctly and reassemble.
I've come across a few phones that have this defect.
Hey Ranger, notice you spend a lot of time in what I call the "trenches" in the Q&A and Gen sections providing assistance and guidance. Where I like to hang out and since I have the Note now...and still providing to the Infuse 4G community...
You seem to be a resourceful individual, sir.
Thanks Ranger!

Thank you sir.
btw you impress me with your assistance in the threads, sir :good:
Maybe one of your cables inside is loose and disconnects when you move it? I would either take your phone apart yourself or take it to a shop to get it checked.

Leave the phone plugged in for about 8 hours, even though the light doesn't come on. Then try turning it on again.

His problem could be different, it causes the phone to enter deep sleep. Unbricker will not help there. It happened to quite a few people.

I had the same problem because I tried to downgrade my radio (I learned from my mistakes XD) however I sent the phone to HTC and said that I had the phone since long ago but without using it, I also said the I upgraded it over the night and when I woke up the phone was dead. They fixed it and sent it back in a nice cute box XD.

there is warranty with it ?
how long does it took to send and mail back to you:cyclops:
It have the HTC warranty not sprint but HTC have to offer warranty to every device they sell but only on the software part. It depends because i live in NY it took like one week to get to Texas and one week to get here again but I know that they fixed it in one day because I called.

Okay lets clear some boring stuff out of the way.
ST25i
BL: Unlocked
Rooted
FXP 216 CM9
I was using my phone fine 7 hours ago. Absoblutely fine. I put it in my pocket and left for School.
about 4 hours ago, at lunchtime, i went on it to check XDA.
But here's the thing.
I pressed the power button. Nothing. I presumed that I had turned it off. So I pressed and held the button to turn it on. No vibration. I wasn't bothered because i thought it had just frozen. So I popped out the battery, and popped it back in. Pressed and held. Nothing. i Covered the dim LED at the side of the camera to see if the battery was dead. No LED at all. THEN i got scared.
I have no idea. None, as to what caused it or what i can do. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks Guys!

I'm not rooted and running 4.1.2. All of the sudden I'm stuck in headphone mode. I was not even using headphones at the time. It just popped up on its own. I have tried to plug something in and out several times but nothing works. I even tried jamming a small screw driver in it. The only thing I have not done is factory reset. Any other ideas that might help?

Try powering down your phone then take out the battery for about 30 seconds. The place the battery back in and boot your phone.

Sent from my LG-MS770 using xda app-developers app
Turn off your phone. Hold down VOLUME UP and plug it into the USB into your computer. Then, go into LG Mobile Support Tool. Click options, and "Upgrade Recovery" (That's not exactly it but it's like it.) and type in your IMEI code (Found on the white sticker underneath the battery of your phone) and then click "Update/Upgrade." That should work. Be sure that your USB isn't glitchy and doesn't disconnect/reconnect randomly, don't move your phone or computer during process. That should help you!
Now, I won't reply fast or anything, because I'm going to play some Black Ops 2 Zombies! Best of luck and God bless mate!
How long does it normally take after getting to 4%?
