I recently rooted my Lg g3 on 5.0.1 zvc & I installed twrp through the twrp manager app on google play but when it boots into download mode it says secure boot error 1003 and it boots into twrp normally and that's it nothing wrong with it . when I select the reboot option it boots fine should I ignore the message since it isn't bricked ? or what?

The message is normal and will show whenever you flash a unsigned(aka custom) image. You can safely ignore it.
I am not aware of a safe way to remove it besides staying with stock kernel and recovery. The error is because the LS990 has a locked bootloader and we can only flash custom images with bump with triggers the secureboot error. The error is not permanent and will go away once you flash an official signed image.

I had unlocked the bootloader of my p768 sometime back by flashing onto a p760 firmware and then i returned back to a nandroid backup of my p768 v20A
With the nandroid restore, I got my old recovery back(the one which is installed by the l9 recovery installer app) and everything normal
I wanted to use the touch recovery which is in this thread.
So i replaced the recovery in my nandroid backup with this one and tried to do an advanced restore of boot.
Now I have a security error.
Isnt the error only locked bootloader specific?
Update--I used the LG flashing application. I had to use the recovery phone option to make it work. It flashed V20A on my phone. When I did the bootloader unlock check in the hidden service menu(3845#*768#) it said "lock"
but now when my phone is in SW Update mode, it says bootloader status:unlocked

Could you please elaborate?
(Because you try to install TWRP RECOVERY)
What you can do or can not do anything about it?
Device is lost?
Through Flashify
I clicked img TWRP
It worked entered RECOVERY
I did not know what to do where I could not find an installation file rom
I pressed WIPI think that was registered
I made a device Reset
Get stuck LG logo:crying:

I believe you can flash stock recovery though adb. Do a little research. Stock files are in G2 Mini General Android Developement (D620, right?).

It worked out fine for me I was able to install :good:
I'm having the same problem
so.. i have an Lg d618 rooted and running official L 5.0.2
i wanted to flash a custom recovery so i started with patching bootloader using this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/g2-mini/development/bootloader-d620-d618-t3127819
then i installed TWRP using this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/g2-mini/development/recovery-lg-g2-mini-d618-v10c-t2854493
by flashing the img file with Flashify
the the phone rebooted and i got the TWRP interface
http://img.wonderhowto.com/img/39/2...only-custom-recovery-youll-ever-need.w654.jpg
and when i press reboot i got this
http://img.wonderhowto.com/img/38/1...only-custom-recovery-youll-ever-need.w654.jpg
If I reboot into System - I wind up at the TWRP screen again after the LG logo.
If I reboot into Recovery - I got that android logo like i have no recovery installed
If I reboot into Bootloader - I wind up at the TWRP screen again after the LG logo.
If I reboot into Power Off - when I power on I wind up at the TWRP screen again after the LG logo.
i tried this solution http://androidforums.com/threads/twrp-bootloop-fix-after-update-ota.922585/ and it didn't help

Followed you from the other spot...
It sounds like Flashify plunked recovery on your boot/kernel partition (assuming your recovery you described is still stock - that is - Andy laying down with the front panel open). So, I would suggest to ADB push your official L 5.0.2 boot.img while in TWRP and flash that (to boot), and you should be golden.
Also, from my perspective it's hard for me to say your bootloader is acting up, as I have a different LG device and it's bootloader does not have fastboot. It's front-end is only a shim that makes you factory reset to get into recovery mode (it's only function).
Hope this helps.

I said flash STOCK KDZ ONLY, not rooted or modified zip. You will not get this error again.
Re-Lock your bootloader if you want that message gone.
I was flashing paranoid android 6.0.2 for my device. I downloaded the zip(from the official paranoid android website) and checked the md5 checksum, which did not match. However, like a total idiot, I flashed it nonetheless. On booting, the phone gets stuck on the boot logo. I tried booting into recovery(TWRP) and performing a factory reset to no avail. I redownloaded the flashable zip for Paranoid, successfully verified the md5 checksum and flashed it again, no avail. Restore a full backup from within TWRP, no avail. My phone still gets stuck on the bootlogo. I have looked all over every forum without any results. Please help me out? I would like to get it back to functional state and flash the rom again. As mentioned, I have access to my custom recovery and can connect to my device via fastboot. I am willing to give any other information you may need.
Thanks!

Try clean flashing new bootloader supported roms. Before downloading check for its compatibility, all nougat roms r compatible.. U can try if u wish ))

Flash any 2.X.X ROM. One way is to fastboot flash old stock recovery and flash safest way I think. The other is to flash with twrp make sure after flashing the ROM to flash old twrp IMG after. Make sure you boot right back into twrp.

Assuming you're on OOS3 with TWRP for new bootloader,
- Boot into recovery
- Wipe everything except SD Card
- Flash OOS2 zip
- Boot into it
- Goto settings, unlock dev options, enable advanced reboot
- Then reboot to bootloader
- Flash twrp for old bootloader via fastboot, use this one https://dl.twrp.me/onyx/twrp-3.0.2-0-onyx.img
Done
-Now u hv sucessfully downgraded ur bootloader, flash PA or any supported roms
Used mega unbrick tool because I was unable to unlock bootloader and now I'm stuck at 1+ logo (powered by android disappears quickly), did you solve it?
edit: nevermind, adb sideload with stock OOS fixed it.
