I got a HTC 10 (Non Root) and i have noticed that compared to my old phone (Non Root) that when you click hibernate it freezes on various things (Plex, QuickPic, ES File Manager, Slides etc).
It freezes on the force stop / uninstall screen, where in the past it would flick through them so quick and be done in 2-3 seconds where now when it say goes to close plex it takes about 12 seconds, then closes it then goes onto the next app.
Now some icons that go slow have the GCM logo, where others dont, so its happening on both.
This is also happening on another stock HTC 10 (Non Root) phone.
Any ideas?
anyone?
Same problem with my LG G4. When I click the shortcut Greenify Hibernate, it freezes at the popup of "force close". Sometimes I have to touch the back icon to close it, then touch again the hibernate icon, then it can perform the hibernate.
And also with the feature of auto hibernation, it never perform anything when I turn off the phone screen for quite long time.
Hope someone here can find the workarounds.

I just found out that whenever I use the camera and then close it, it still runs in the background (doesn't show up in program monitor). My battery would go down 1-2 percent in a hour or so. I had to restart the tab then the problem will go away until I use the camera again. My tab is P7515.
Any ideas?
I have a sprint Samsung Galaxy S3, rooted...Int he past week or 2, whenever I am in an application (Chrome, Yahoo, GTalk, etc) The screen will sometimes randomly shut off. It just goes black, i can still touch and use whatever app I was in (I can hear the sounds of clicks, etc) and the buttons stay lit on the bottom. When I press the lock button it makes the lock noise. When I then unlock it, i get to the lock screen with no problems. If I unlock into whatever app I am running, the screen will almost immediately shut off again, or sometimes after a few seconds, or sometimes it waits until i touch the screen. BUT, if I unlock into a system app (messages, phone, homescreen, etc) the problem doesnt happen.
I have tried adjusting all the display settings for screen timeout, rebooting, battery out, killing services, etc and nothing seems to work.
Any ideas?

are you on stock ROM? if not it may be a problem with your ROM
try a reset and flash ROM again or flash another ROM
Currently, my phone is coming across as useless other than as a torch. I am trying to turn on the screen of my phone, although nothing at all happens. Sometimes, if I'm lucky, it turns on and shows me my home screen background, however it takes so long to load that the screen goes back off again. I think this problem is due to an XPosed module in Sense Toolbox 6 that I enabled, that allows you to turn on the torch by long-pressing on the power button, however I am really not sure. Another likely possibility is a lag issue from the high amount of apps I'm running. At the moment I am considering restoring one of my backups because the problem is so bad (If I can get it to turn off, that is). Please help me!

As long as you have ADB enabled you should be able to connect it to you pc via ADB and type "adb reboot recovery" this will reboot you straight to recovery where you can restore your backup or disable Xposed framework see link here https://seo-michael.co.uk/how-to-disable-xposed-installer/ for howto . I think you can even disable certain modules via ADB then "adb reboot" but I can't remember the detail you would have to google it.
MiniBlu
i can feel the vibration and hear it turn on but i cant see whats on my screen
This is an unmodded phone, just to start off quickly. I take pretty good care of my phone. However, the camera app on this is super slow and frustrating.
When I activate the camera from sleep mode either by double tapping the volume key or use the lock screen camera icon, the app launches, but it takes anywhere from 10 - 15 seconds for the shutter button to be active and start taking photos. This is in all auto and manual modes.
I've missed a lot of moments that I couldn't capture, because I'm waiting for the app to do whatever it's doing and then start working. But even after the button is active, I press it and it stalls and then takes the photo. I've tried rebooting and even go through my phone for running apps that could possibly slow it down, but I just get general push notifications and emails. No heavy apps running in the background.
Any ideas how to get around, or resolve this issue?
Thank you.
Have the exact same issue. Rebooting helps a LITTLE but often still 5-10 seconds of lag, which can result in completely missing the shot. Searched around a bit, no one seems to have a solution for it that I can tell.
So annoying! I'm going to write to LG about it, because it's BS that they don't fix this software issue, and I shouldn't have to buy a new phone for a camera app.
I've only had this thing a month. I didn't expect great performance, but there are times it is just agonizingly slow! Switching from messaging to the home screen seems to take forever. I stare at a blank screen for a long time before the icons appear. Touch also seems sluggish -- I have to press the home icon several times before the home screen appears. I accidently started playing music with the Play Music app but couldn't get it to stop. Pressing the pause icon repeatedly and the music blared on. I couldn't turn down the volume, couldn't turn it off. It just kept going. I'm not talking minutes but certainly a lot longer than I had with OnePlus 3 and Nexus 6. I'm constantly clearing background apps to improve performance, but that isn't helping.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Try disabling the in-built ASUS apps. I was able to disable the following apps with no negative side effects:
ASUS Cover
"Do It Later"
Gallery
Mini Movie
"PhotoCollage"
Quick Memo
Splendid
Weather
ZenCircle
ZenFone Care
I would also recommend switching from the ZenUI Launcher to something like Nova Launcher (or your favorite launcher).
Hope this helps.

How did you flash back to 6?
Yeah, you need to disable the Asus bloat. You can also try using ftllauncher. The issue is limited ram when running the Asus OS.
